This website is a scam and it automatically add purchases that you didn't authorized.
I did a personality test and bought the results for USD1.98 and there is an included trial, which I cancelled immediately.
I also opted out of any additional options.
However, I found out that there is another purchases of two ebooks that I didn't authrorized.

Scamming

Very disappointing experience.

I cancelled my subscription, yet there were still attempts to deduct money from my credit card afterward. That is unacceptable. Whether this is a billing system issue or poor subscription management, the result for the customer is the same: stress, wasted time, and loss of trust.

If you use this service, document everything and watch your bank statements closely. Based on my experience, I would not recommend PersonalityOS.

I can attest that the PersonalityOS team are 100% scammers and liars

Accessed it only on one day 5 Mar 2026. Paid for Test + 7-days Mypersonalitylab premium membership - x1 - US$1.98. I also opted out the recurring US$28.80/mth for continued use of the site.

Was auto-charged US$28.80 on 13 Mar 2026 although I opted out of it. When I received the email stating that I was charged, I immediately logged in to the account to cancel my subscription and asked to reimburse the amount simply because I had opted out of the recurring US$28.80.

Same day, they replied via email stating US$28.80 had been refunded to me. Lo and behold, 2 weeks later I saw my bank transaction stated a refund less than the agreed amount.

I emailed the personalityos team, and was informed that it's only US$20 refund. These people don't honour what they promised.

You be the judge of it - see their email reply on 13 Mar and tell me where does it say refund is US$20.

We are sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with our product. Our team is committed to providing the best service possible and we hope to make things right.

We have approved your refund request and have issued a refund for you. If you paid by Paypal, you will receive the refund in a few minutes. If you paid by credit card, it may take 2-5 business days to receive the refund. Please pay attention to your payment account.

We understand you were expecting a full refund of $28.80. However, Please understand that our Premium Monthly Membership is a subscription-based digital service with immediate access upon purchase. Once the subscription is activated and you begin enjoying the benefits (such as accessing exclusive content or features), the service is considered ‘utilized’ . 

And during this cycle, our digital products and services were in normal working order and accessible, and we have provided you with the relative services as agreed.

The partial refund of $20.00 was issued as an exception to cover the unused portion of your subscription period, while the $8.80 reflects the value of the membership benefits you’ve already accessed during the active period, also  including the associated transaction costs and content delivery expenses incurred at the time of your activation.

Therefore, we're unable process a refund for the remaining amount.

Bottomline:
Extremely ridiculous. Trying to spin off something that is clearly stated in black and white. So guys, don't get it. Don't even try their product. There are many others worth trying. I only tried it because it was a link shared by a friend.

After writing this review, on the same day (30 Mar 2026) team scrambled to grant me the full refund of USD28.80. I guess the "management" approves now? Immediately, they told me to change my reviews on Trustpilot. I wish this was the last of it, but the refund journey didn't end there.

Initially, I ignored their email because it's useless trying to rationalise with idiots. On 3 Apr 2026, i checked my refund. Yes the balance did come in but not the full amount. It was still short of USD1.80+. I wrote back to them.

"Hello, Fxxxxxxx,

Thank you for contacting us again. We sincerely apologize for any continued inconvenience and trouble this may have caused.

We have confirmed that this payment is related to the fee you initially paid to view the test report. We have processed a full refund of $1.98 specifically for you.

The refund has been completed on our end. The funds will be returned to your original payment account within 2 to 5 business days. Please wait patiently. Thank you for your understanding and support.

Thank you again for your honest feedback and for giving us the opportunity to resolve this matter completely.

Clearly bullshit since I've paid USD1.98 in a separate transaction # FO8727xxxxxxxxxxxx.
So when they say they'd refund you USDxxx, they'll find ways high & low to try and cut something from it, and won't inform you.

Not worth it guys.

Beware! SCAM alert

They ask you to complete a personality test but do not provide the results immediately. Instead, they require you to enter your credit card details to upgrade and unlock the results. After that, you must remember to cancel the subscription, or they will charge you a monthly subscription fee without clearly informing you during the upgrade process. The subscription is activated by default, and you have to cancel it manually. Even worse, they may charge you for a bonus eBook without your knowledge, even if you did not purchase it. This is a scam and a terrible website.

SCAM

I did a personality test from an advertisement of theirs and found out after the end of their test that they require you to pay $.99 to get your results, sounded fine so i paid it, little did i know they signed you up for a subscription of $29.99 fu***ng dollars every month, i cancelled the subscription and requested they refund me, they did and sent me an email apologizing, so i thought things were fine but then not even a month later they re-took back the money from the refund, i am more than pissed

I thought I paid under $2 for a more expansive mbti test. Immediately, my bank sends me a fraud alert text telling me personalityOS charged me a whole subscription for $16 a month. Now I need a new card. Extremely irritating and bewildering. Its blatantly manupulative. Shamelessly even. THE ENTITLED AUDACITY to then blame the customer for not reading some fine print that everyone agrees is stealing. it's clear these are extremely deceptive practices.

Don't waste your time.

If you're looking for a free personality test this website is not for you. You're better off getting it done at 16 personalities website which has more in-depth question compared to this one. For this website they make you pay for your report before they reveal anything. Dont fall into this trap. Basically its a bait to get you invested in the test and make you feel like you need to pay to get the report.
