I recently completed the Foundation Course in Cyber Security with PET-Xi and found it to be a highly informative and engaging experience. The course was well-structured, easy to follow, and covered essential topics with real-world relevance. The tutor was knowledgeable and supportive, making complex subjects easy to understand. I now feel more confident about applying safe digital practices in the workplace. Highly recommended for anyone looking to build a solid foundation in cyber security.

I wanted to further my knowledge in Business Administration, and I found this course interesting and in-depth, with units which was easy to understand and follow from the course booklet.
Speaking with the team when applying for the course, they were helpful, informed me of what the course is about and involves, and what the process will be.
The tutor was also helpful, supportive, and guided me to the correct pages in the course booklet when I was unsure of certain questions.
I recommend anyone to use PET-Xi, very good.

It’s over 30 years since I last undertook any form of education when I decided to do a Cyber Security course through PET-Xi.

I found the course to be an excellent starting point for anyone interested in cyber security. The content was well structured and covered many key topics including cyber attacks, the Internet of Things and vulnerabilities.

Everything was very well set out and easy to follow. The introductory sessions were extremely useful, giving an excellent insight into each module. This made the learning process very engaging.

Even as I submitted my first completed assignment, I realised I had made a mistake. However, the feedback from my tutor, Jennifer Dinsley, was very useful and I was fortunate enough to resubmit it and pass.

I learned so much from the course, including how to identify threats and understand the many ways organisations can be attacked.

After each assignment, comprehensive feedback provided an opportunity to do further research. Whilst no expert, I now feel far more knowledgeable than before I started.

Overall, I would recommend this course and PET-Xi to anyone wishing to learn more about cyber security.

Before we found PET-Xi, I was genuinely at breaking point. My son had always been bright and capable, previously on the gifted and talented register, but approaching the end of Year 10 he had fallen so far behind that his school were suggesting Functional Skills might be the only realistic option. It felt like the system had stopped seeing his potential and I didn’t know where to turn.
A friend suggested I speak to Fleur at PET-Xi, I wasn’t expecting much from a conversation, but that chat became a turning point. Fleur listened, really listened, she understood not just my son, but me as a parent who had been fighting every step of the way to get the right support. She spoke with warmth, honesty and belief, belief that things could be different.
My son and I met Fleur in person shortly after and from the very first meeting, the PETXi team showed a level of care, clarity and commitment that was completely different from anything we had experienced. They took the time to really understand him, his needs, his strengths, his learning style and for the first time in a long while, someone truly ‘got it’.
What makes PET-Xi so special is that they don’t ask the child to fit the system,they shape the system around the child. For a neurodivergent learner like my son, that changed everything. He was no longer being labelled or overlooked. He was being supported, challenged, and finally given a chance to catch up and move forward.
By the end of just one week, the transformation was clear. He began engaging, enjoying learning, and taking pride in his progress. He started talking about his goals and career aspirations. He now feels motivated, hopeful, and focused, not just on passing exams, but on building a future he’s genuinely excited about.
PET-Xi haven’t just helped him catch up. They’ve helped him reconnect with his potential, rebuild his confidence, and feel seen again. It’s not just education, it’s empowerment.
They believed in him, and now he believes in himself.

I recently completed a customer service course. It was a 3-4 week program, totally jam packed but full of easily digestible information. It was interactive and both the course study and exams were easy to access. Coree was such a supportive tutor. He was very knowledgeable and practical as I am viewed as a customer and treated us as such and he and Seth stayed after lessons to answer questions or review work in a private chat. I couldn't fault them.

I recently completed a course with PET-XI and had a great experience. The material was well-structured, easy to follow and very informative. The support and encouragement I received from my tutor Snita throughout the course was exceptional, creating a positive and collaborative learning atmosphere. Snita's interactive and personal approach is the fundamental key reason why this course has had a profoundly positive impact on me.
Based on my own enriching experience, I would highly recommend PET-XI to anyone interested.

I enjoyed the course and was able to progress more smoothly once Jennifer helped me with the ILP and we put a more structured plan in place. I was able to keep to this and improve my time management skills and proofreading discipline. I thank Jennifer for helping me adhere to this work ethic and it will be my mentality going forward.

I recommend Pet-Xi to get you started in a particular career and also to build your confidence and writing ability.

The courses are well structured for online learning and the tutor i had, Jennifer was very knowledgeable and provided good clear feedback.

At the point where I was looking to change my career, I wasn’t completely sure which direction to take. I started researching online to see which skills are most in demand, and it quickly became clear that everything linked to technology and the online world is at the top.

While reading more into it, cybersecurity caught my attention. I’ve always been good at problem-solving, and I’m passionate about learning new things — it just fits the way my mind works. The fact that cybersecurity is an ever-evolving and constantly changing field made it even more exciting for me.

I decided to look for an entry-level course that could give me some guidance on where to start, and that’s when I discovered PET-Xi.

Taking part in their course has been a really positive experience. It provided a solid introduction, helped me understand the basics, and gave me a clearer sense of direction for where I want to go next. The course was also encouraging in terms of self-education — it motivated me to dive deeper independently and keep pushing forward.

I’m very grateful for the opportunity and would recommend PET-Xi to anyone who is curious about entering a new field.

Pet-Xi was a great provider, I wasn't sure how engaged they would be, in fact I assumed I would just get pass/fail for the questions. However I was lucky to have Jennifer as my tutor, the first round of feedback set me on right path. She gave really clear constructive criticism, detailed guidance and genuine encouragement.

Stimulating course, helpful tutor

Overall it was good to have something to work on while I've been out of work. The tutor was most helpful in offering detailed feedback. That said, it's hard to say whether it's actually enhanced my employment prospects - I'm still jobhunting and my entitlement to Jobseeker's Allowance has expired. Also for a course that was supposed to be about team leading I felt that there was a disproportionate about of content devoted to general customer service skills.

I struggled to get onto my course to start with but once I was on, my tutor was very helpful and replied quickly to any questions I had! Overall it was a brilliant course and I have learnt a lot from it, would definitely recommend and will be doing another course through them soon

So since I've started coming here for a course the friendly staff have been nothing short of brilliant, they have accommodated my every need and well ensured that I'm happy and satisfied.
I feel like I've made new friends and I personally would recommend their services and course to anyone. Top job 10/10 👏

rude and disrespectful.

In 2024 i was sent to them for a course in civil service I openly explained that I had a customer service qualification level 1 and level 2.

yet they allowed me to continue and do the course content for over a week. It was only then they changed the course with no warning.

and despite a pleasant phone call to appologise wont deny that. I accepted the change of course however when I asked for help trainer to tell them they ignored me i sent emails to complain nothing ever came back from them.

I was always taught its downright rude to ignore people and not defintely something a business should be doing.

I stand by my Disrespectful, rude on this after how it treated me. 3 weeks wasted because of this

I have worked at Pet xi for 10 years now, I would not want to work for any other company. They pay well, no two days are ever the same. All the staff are friendly and welcoming as well as being supportive.
They are the most amazing company that have been around for 28 years. Absolutely brilliant

The business course was very informative, providing me with a comprehensive understanding of elements I hadn't previously explored. It introduced me to the advancements in AI technology, emphasised the significance of social media networking, and offered the invaluable opportunity to have a dedicated business mentor. Thanks to the course, I now feel significantly more confident in effectively utilising social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook for networking purposes.

I have just completed the accredited course provided by Pet-Xi. It was a really good experience as I have improved my customer skills and developed as a person who has worked in customer services for over 10 years. The tutors were brilliant in guiding my learning and really did make the course content more interesting. I would encourage anyone who wants to develop themselves to give this course a go as it has been a quality experience.
