Easy to upload information at a stressful time when my beautiful cat was missing... it was comforting to know that he was registered on a database with a wide reach.
Happily, he has returned home and Indy sent a lovely email. Thank you!

These guys, particularly Indy, were very helpful making sure my cats registration was completed properly.

Indy was fantastic with helping me transfer keepership and updating my pets details! They were very polite and helpful and even helped remove a duplicate registration as the original chip was in a different name to the one given to us when we rehomed her.

Indy was really helpful with the information she supplied me with. Easy to transfer ownership of my pup’s microchip. I would recommend. The only thing wrong is that the website says it is free, but was charged a small fee, which I didn’t object to to keep my pup safe 😁

They reached out (a friendly helper named Indy) to let me know that I needed to change my database, and provided information that was helpful.
Thanks to their help in responding to emails quite quickly, I managed to switch over without much issue

AVOID. Scammers - they pretend to be free and don't reveal their £15 fee until after you've entered your microchip number etc, then it's locked into them and you can't register on other, cheaper sites.
(mypethq.io only charges £3.99 for the same service)

It’s so important to update your pets details so they never get lost or are always reunited! And thank you to lovely Indy I was able to do this with ease I’m currently blind and find things like this difficult but it was done without a problem so thank you!

It’s a trap! DO NOT fill in the microchip registration number.

I found this microchip registration company on the government website. They said it’s free but after luring you in filling the details and specifically the microchip registration number, they asked you to pay for it!

They then locked up your microchip number so you CANNOT register with another organisation. And say that your registration is not complete unless you pay.

I tried to cancel the account, but their FAQ or Help Centre links on the website do not work. Live chat with no response, email with no response. Total scam, will report to trading standards.

They answered my request after I left a comment here and they ASKED ME to REMOVE my review.

I can’t be sure if they responded because I’ve left a comment here or else. But glad it works.

Personally I still think this company is operating in an unfair manner and lack of transparency. Charging for the service is fine but not saying it upfront is not! Again, none of their FAQ, Help Center, Live Chat, or even Phone Number works! If you do not wish to pay and they ignore your email to cancel the account, there’s nothing you can do. So do it at your own risk.

Indy was very helpful with the request to change Puddy’s microchip. It was registered in South Africa originally but only took a day to check it out and change registration. Thank you for a very good, quick service from a grateful owner.

I had a very positive experience with Pet Database.

I adopted my cat from a friend who unfortunately didn’t know various details she had initially logged for the cat (she had been rescued after been dumped).

Pet Database made this a very easy process and simply contacted my friend to confirm some details and confirm she had been homed with myself. Following this I simply needed to make a small payment for the transfer to go ahead.

I found them to be very pleasant and easy to work with.

Website/account is easy to navigate and several perks/offers to use.

I accidentally made a duplicate account for my pet and sent a request for transferal of ownership in doing so. Indy reached out to follow this up and was very polite and friendly I mentioned this. Everything is resolved and I am very happy with the customer service.

Recently found out I was scammed when I set up the transfer of my (inherrited) pets microchip details.
Indy explained what had happened &helped me sort it out so my pet is now registered correctly.

Indy was very helpful after I received the email advising me of a problem with Teddy's registration.
Also when I rang, a kind gentleman helped me to re do the registration.
All in all I am very satisfied.
