In recent years Photoshop has become almost unusable.

I've used Photoshop as a professional for many years. We even bought the whole lifetime product before Adobe cancelled the agreement worldwide with later updates.

Currently Adobe Photoshop has become almost unusable. Working with a familiar tool is a wonderful experience .. but Adobe seem to want to break what wasn't broken. Its the modern world all over again.

So, I'm actively looking to cancel my Creative Cloud subscription. There is no pleasure in using Photoshop anymore. Its not about the subscription itds about Adobe not giving a **** about their user base.

We dumped Autodesk Studio Max for Blender and in fact Blender is much better than Studio Max so that worked out wonderfully.

So next we will be dumping Adobe! You did it to yourself Adobe!

My experience using Photoshop

I've had a great experience with Adobe Photoshop. I've used it in my school projects and it did a fantastic job. I like its advanced features like the templates, the layer management and its AI-powered features. It is also powerful and reliable.

Goodbye Adobe Photoshop, hello Affinity.

I used Adobe Photoshop for a long time, and later as a contributor. This year they stopped sending contributor codes, and the prices have become completely exorbitant. This policy is absurd these days. Many competitors offer better tools, lower prices, and much more flexibility. Goodbye Adobe Photoshop, hello Affinity.

Having problems saving a photo after I generated a fix in Photoshop.

I was having problems after I generated a fix and added the layer to my photo & flattened the photo. I can't save it because of an error. I talked to an agent yesterday, and he said I needed to update my monthly plan to fix the issue. So, I agreed and updated my plan. I'm still having the same issues, and I'm fed up. I'm wasting credits after I kept generating the same fix over and over, and each time I tried to save the photo, I get and error saying 'some think when went wrong’ and Photoshop froze and stopped working. I then have to go to my Taskbar and find Photoshop and 'click' on 'End' to unfreeze Photoshop. After numerous attempts to fix the issue, I contacted Photoshop through their website on Adobe Creative Cloud. When I connected to their 'Bot', I stated the reason for my contact and asked for help. The 'Bot' asked me to sign into my account, I stated I was signed. The 'Bot' said I wasn't and that I didn't have an account. I kept asking to CHAT with an agent, the 'Bot' kept telling me I had to sign in first. I gave up and phoned Adobe Photoshop and got an agent that I could hardly understand. I explained what was going on and he replied 'this can't happen' and asked to connect to my PC. He said I couldn't connect to the 'Bot' if I didn't have an account. He connected and found out I was signed into my Photoshop any then tried doing the same procedure and ended up with the 'Bot' again saying I wasn't signed in. He put me on hold and then reconnected and said the problem was with Photoshop as their service had me listed with 2 different profiles'. I asked him to delete one of the profiles and he said Photoshop would not allow that. Then he wanted to start changing thing on my Windows 11 Pro and I told him no and disconnected. I then contact another agent and he convinced me to try another a later version of Photoshop. I did that and the results were the same with the same error message. So I removed the later version and re-installed the version I have become familiar with during the last year. I want this fixed and the credits I've wasted trying to save my photo since buying the new plan replaced. also want the extra profile removed, as it's causing problems. Adobe does not care about customer service, when you contact them, their answer is always that it's your PC. All Adobe cares about is that you pay your monthly Subscription Fee. After all the incorrect information from their agents I used a different Photo program to fix the Photo and it worked and saved with out a problem. I would strongly suggest any one (especially older seniors) looking for a good Photo program stay away from Adobe Photoshop. Try Luminar Neo or other such products.

Very bad Experience...

I used Adobe Photoshop for a long time, but the prices have become completely unreasonable. When I decided to end my subscription, I found out that Adobe charges huge cancellation fees. This policy is absurd today. Many competitors offer better tools, lower prices, and far more flexibility.

I originally planned to return to Photoshop during certain periods of the year when it fits my workflow. I only wanted to use it occasionally. After this experience, I am done with Photoshop for good. I would never recommend it to anyone. Their approach to customers is unacceptable, and the way they handle cancellations is insulting. Total scammers.

I used to love Adobe. Now I resent it. And tell others to run.

I have used adobe photoshop for over 20 years. It has always been my go to editing program, and for the first 10 or 15 I would have given it a 5 star review and said I would recommend it hands down.
Now. I tell people not to bother learning it. I feel stuck with it. And it basically is giving a huge middle finger to those who want to use it as a hobby. Because writing it off on my taxes is the only reason I can give myself to justify how much I have spent on aDoBe, and even that still feels like I'm being scammed. Since it became "subscription based", I have spent HUNDREDS and HUNDREDS of dollars on this program, only now for them to just roll out higher cost subscriptions..!!! meaning what I've spent so much money on now doesn't get me all of the features anymore. I'm infuriated. I feel like this company thinks they are untouchable and don't give two flying effs about their user base. and for someone like me, who says they loves photoshop and used it for half of their life, to say that they hate it and resent it now, but are stuck with it and would tell everyone else who asks to run; that's not a good look. Not to mention the additional ai money AdObE is spending isn't going as far as they think it is, the bubble is going to burst and I hope it hurts them.

it is the most useless piece of software i have ever used
i dont even know how they make it so utterly useless and makes everything so had to find and all the settings you need are buried underneath endless menus just to do the most simple things in existance
if i could i would rate it 0 stars but 1 is the minimum

Truly truly one of the absolute worst…

Truly truly one of the absolute worst companies to possibly be given this much power over an industry - genuinely i pray to got this company goes under and a new company arises becuse the amount of time ive wasted on remaking crashed files and spending 1000's of dollars on the subscriptions is unbelievable

absolute scam

absolute scam - I used the free trial and they've charged me over £100 in total from not cancelling payments. Figma is a lot better anyway - hence why I (tried) to cancel my free trial.

When I changed my subscription to a cheaper one, I started paying for 2 subscriptions even though I only have one. I've tried to get help from support but they say it's not valid even though I can show my bank details. I've committed for a year so that's a lot of money.

Je change mon avis sur ADOBE PHOTOSHOP. De négatif je lui mets 5 étoiles

Bien sûr, j'ai plutôt bien galéré avec mon problème de PC qui plantait chaque fois que je voulais enregistrer un fichier RAW avec Photoshop 2025. L'équipe du support technique a aussi bien souffert pour résoudre le problème. Quatre jours d'intervention avec une moyenne de quatre heures passées par séance en PC distant. Quatre agents qui se sont relayés. Puis un mail reçu le dernier jour pour me donner des instructions de vérifications et d'actions à exécuter selon le cas.
Et, finalement, identification du problème qui venait de mon antivirus NORTON. Il fallait le paramétrer et lui indiquer d'exclure la vérification des applications Adobe Photoshop et de Caméra Raw.
Je salue ici la pugnacité de l'équipe qui ne m'a jamais lâché et qui a trouvé la solution.

Wont run

Wont run, constantly crashes as well as freezing my computer. Absolute nightmare to work with and Adobe always blame the user's computer or settings. My computer is also freezing to the point I need to do a hard shut down. YES ive checked ive got 1TB scratch disk more than enough memory and RAM it's just an awful product now. Trying out different photo editing software now

Adobe confusing and not helpful

I'm in my 80's and still us photoshop and love it but computer crashed and lost serial number and trying to retrieve is like pulling teeth. I no longer use it for work purposes but don't really understand why Adobe has made there site so complicated and I can get on to my account and though I exist, nothing I've purchased of done with Adobe exists meant what? More money out of my pocket. Looks like I'll have to go to Topaz which is not what I really want to do.

used to be great and still is but for someone who needs to use maybe 5 times a year a subscription service is ridiculous. not be able to buy a one off licence is crazy. and new macs not compatible with other version

Bin seit Jahrzehnten überzeugter Photoshop-User. Doch nun findet Photoshop keine meiner externen Festplatten, die möchte ich gerne als Arbeitsvolumen verwenden - geht leider nicht. Und bei ADOBE ist online sowieso NIE jemand zu erreichen ....!??
