Website is clear, order was processed quickly and shipping was on time

pictureframes.com did an excellent job framing a family picture for my mother’s 90th birthday. I ordered it just before Christmas and they got it to me in time, which I appreciated so much! The frame is beautiful. The matting is beautiful and it’s exactly what I wanted! I also found the website easy to navigate.

Love these frames! They are made of real wood and crafted with care. All the hardware you need is included to secure your canvas to the frame as well as to hang on the wall. I had a bad experience with another frame company that claimed its frames were wood but turned out to be a brittle cheap composite under the veneer that break if dropped. I won't use anyone else now. I bought a black frame and it has what appears to be Sharpie marker visible on the front (can happily provide photos) at the corners. It’s sort of subtle but decidedly not a professional finish.

Also, unless I have completely misunderstood something, the hardware provided to attach the canvas seems to be the wrong size. The offset clips are too short to lie flat against the back of the frame and the canvas at the same time. It’s not a problem with the rabbet depth for the canvas, the “bottom frame step” as described in the instructions is slightly taller than the offset clips that are meant to sit on top of it. Again, happy to provide photos of the gap.

I was extremely happy with my purchase of a large nester frame for one of my paintings. As a full-time artist, I need quality frames for art shows and it's great to have found a company who can provide quality frames at reasonable prices. I will be continuing to order from Frames.com.

I received my custom frame and was so happy with it. But after I put in my artwork and was ready to hang the frame on the wall, I realized there was a small crack in the acrylic glass. I contacted customer support, assuming it'd be in vain, and they immediately told me they'd send a replacement. (I thought they would just send me a new acrylic face for the frame, but they replaced the entire order.) I was so surprised and pleased that I will definitely be using this company again.

Easy and efficient

I was initially excited to order a solid wood frame in a specific size I couldn’t find premade. The product I’ve been sent is nothing as expected or described. It’s clearly MDF covered in a finishing tape. The product page claimed it to be wood. The connection points at the corners have massive gaps which only widen once you attach the wire and gravity comes into play. I’m scared to even hang it up and risk damaging my art print as the frame slowly pulls apart from its lack of structure, integrity, or quality. The frame and acrylic are so poorly sized that there is an air gap between the frame and acrylic exposing a thin edge of artwork and also allows the acrylic to easily pop out with handing. It was extremely well packed which is unfortunate considering how poorly put together of a product this is. If I could get a full refund that would be my ideal scenario. I would not order from this company again. This feels like a complete scam and a huge disappointment considering the cost and patience. This frame is completely unusable and I could easily justify disposing of it even having spent the money it is unusable without being significantly reinforced or altered.

Delivery was pretty quick and the frame is sturdy and looks good. The problem is the hardware that came with it seems wrong and the instructions don't help. Am going to have to take it to a framer to install the canvas.

Beautiful frames at a reasonable price. Easy to put on. If you are framing work for a gallery, they can be dinged and should be protected when moving around.
