What a great company that allows you to run self hosted apps to save yourself money instead of greedy companies that charge you heaps of money

I've been able to set up an uptime karma instead of using uptimerobot saving me heaps of money.

PikaPods makes the process of running and maintaining a VPS with an open-source app extremely easy — and cheap. The number of supported apps increases periodically, and already supports apps that range from business-ready automation tools, databases and document management systems, through to photo galleries and personal accounting. Their support is absolutely excellent: fast, professional and responsive — I've never had to wait more than 24 hours to get a response, and they've always been incredibly helpful. Highly recommended.

Data deleted if your balance goes unpaid for a small time.

I understand blocking access, but deleting data is not a great experience overall.

As a lazy person, who even has baremetal server at home. I should admit - I use PikaPods for crucial family software (like storing our photo collection). It's cheap, runs well!

there is a bunch of OSS software that they don't have and I have to run on my own. I hope they will start adding more or it will be possible to contribute(and speed up the process).
