Knowledgeable, compassionate and thorough help. The PIP application process is appalling and degrading. It's extremely helpful to able to go to someone who knows how to ask the right questions and get to the heart of what the difficulties are, then express it in a clear, factual way so the assessor can see clearly what help is needed.
It changed the absolutely soul destroying process into a difficult but manageable one, that ultimately got us the help we needed.
Excellent service and support
The service and support provided by PIPPS is 2nd to none. Consistently across all of the advisors and the legal advisors that I spoke to was the same high standard of excellent customer Service and caring, supportive tone. I was really uncertain about how to tackle what seemed like a really challenging task given my disabilities but the team never lost patience with answering questions or sign posting me to their very well designed website where I could find answers. Accessing the Service to submit my application and then a follow-up to that was also super simple and it was really encouraging to speak to Sonia. He dealt with my application and really understood my range of needs.. Despite having gathered all of my evidence, I was completely overwhelmed and would not have been able to extract the relevant points within the timeframe and complete the form. I would recommend PIPPS to anyone considering applying for the financial support that SHOULD be easier to access but isnât .

Professional Experts
I was lost and overwhelmed by the PIP application and appeals process. I found the help I needed from Cat and the team to be successful in my appeal. I simply couldn't have done it without them. Their knowledge and dedication is second to none.
A lot of pay for what seems like only a slight change to the probability it will be granted. It seems like 50/50 either way to me for that particular service as apparently, DWP will still make errors
Just to help others know better what to expect. For me, not enough about future steps were explained. I was informed after the fact that I should have informed them of my impending assessment; then would they have given me further helpful information. Imagine telling someone that you could have helped them only after the time when the help would have been useful has passed and you had the information to hand before but failed to provide it.
I paid for the form filling service only. They said a team worked on it; including lawyers. However, you only have their word to believe as there was no other evidence presented that this was actually done with my form (a question of transparency? I guess). At their verbal appointment for the document filling-in, I was asked a bunch of questions and my answers were written down on the form. Simply typist and so maybe can type it yourself? They ask you to gather evidence but don't provide any advice on which evidence you should provide (but they will only review 30 pages so you're still not sure which 30 pages of your evidence to provide for review). Ideally they should have had the appointment first and then, based on information given suggested what the best evidence to present could be since they have placed a limit on what can be presented to them for review. One good thing was they gave me some new words to help better describe my experiences. I really should have looked at other pip help companies beforehand to see the differences before choosing them. Oh well, you learn everyday. (I'm not sure why the exact date of my appointment is needed. This done over a period of time, I'm not sure which of the document receipt dates to put. 23 December just so happens to be a date in the middle of it all).
Pipps please, don't say review is not genuine when you know that the processes I have entered above are accurate (an indicative date does not negate the accuracy of the rest of it). This review is meant to help people who need a lot of predictability to function and, thus need as much detail as possible before they can commit to something. This is additional information you should really provide. It is strange to me to have useful information and keep it. It is not intended to make you look bad; rather, it's meant to help others.

I first used PIPPS form filling services a few years ago and couldnât recommend them enough.
When I transferred from DLA to PIP I used another advocacy firm and had a pretty traumatic experience that ended up at tribunal before I finally got my award plus rather large back payment.
I was absolutely dreading my renewal and involved PIPPS right from the start when my letter about renewing, I spent just over an hour on the phone call with Vicky who was so lovely and caring. We talked about rather private issues with great ease as I felt so comfortable and relaxed talking with her. I was very impressed when my completed form arrived, it was very detailed as to where I met descriptors etc.
I then forgot all about it as I knew PIPPS would advise/help if there was anything else I needed to do. I was over the moon when DWP advised I only needed a phone assessment due to the level of info on the form. My assessment went fine and a few weeks later my award of higher in both was renewed, I cried with relief at how easy PIPPS had Meade my experience this time.
Obviously I had no doubt in using PIPPS again for my latest renewal and this time I was even more impressed. Form was done excellently once again and then a couple of months later I got a call off DWP asking if I was available to talk, I was quite panicked as I was due to start work in 20 minutes but she said it was just a very brief call to check a couple of things, the call lasted 5-10 minutes and asking only 2-3 things she told me they had everything, no face to face or telephone assessment would be needed and I would receive my decision shortly. Not long after my award came through and I got higher rate in both once again and for a longer period.
I canât thank PIPPS enough for how caring they were and also turning what was previously a traumatic experience into something so less stressful and unbelievably something I would even describe as an easy process.
