Oh my goodness! What an absolutely wonderful cafe!! The service was incredible so refreshing to see staff that enjoy their work and are so happy and welcoming!

The food was incredible and again, so fantastic to see such an array of vegan options (which all tasted delicious!)
They had huge vegan croissants and a good selection of vegan pastries which is such a rarity!
Can not recommend this cafe enough!

Also lots of non vegan options too which my friends really enjoyed! 🌟

Always great service and food from this place! Cute and cosy, the interior is excellent. The owners are a really sweet couple that care about the community.

Superb food and very friendly service. A lunch to remember. The vegetarian options are especially delicious and worth another visit.

The venue recommended Piptree and we were delighted with the food and service on the night from Alice and her team. During and after the party our 150 guests commented on the delicious canapes and bowl food. Richard and Alice were flexible and helpful from our first contact and we really enjoyed the tasting session also.

What can we say Alice and Richard have been a dream to work with from start to finish! When we changed our location and guest numbers halfway through they were so fantastic and happy to adapt. The food was delicious and our guests agreed. We will definitely use Piptree again and would recommend to everyone. These guys are the best!

What a great little find. Beautiful tasting coffee, top notch service from the husband and wife combo, and the most delightful breakfast I've tasted in putney! All round fantastic time here and I will definitely be returning. Keep up the great work guys you were fantastic xx

Lovely people and amazing food, that they bespoked to our needs, what more could you ask for-)

Alice and Richard were great from the start! We used them for our wedding at the Rowing Club on 25th August, 2023

We picked them because we had one very important requirement, which was to have a choice of 2 main dishes + vegetarian. They were one of only a few willing to take on the challenge.

My wife loved the tasting experience as well, we went to their own kitchen and they cooked the menu that we designed together. Alice was eagerly explaining the dishes and taking notes on what we liked. Richard was slaving away downstairs cooking all the dishes, you could tell how passionate he was about the food. We knew after the starter that they were the caterers we were picking!

In the run up to the event comms we’re great, menu choices refined and numbers confirmed.

On the day absolutely everything came out seamlessly, and of course the food was amazing, all the guests loved it.

We probably made things a bit difficult for them as the speeches took longer than expected but they did not care, just ultimate professionals,

The thing I liked most was that they created a bespoke menu just for us, the tasting experience was really special, and the service in the day was impeccable!

Alice and Richard were truly the dream team to work with for our wedding! They had so many inspiring ideas, Richard with the menu and Alice with the Event Organisation. On the day of the wedding one of the Turbo ovens wasn’t working and they just sorted it without letting me know it was an issue! I really recommend Piptree for any event, their staff were professional yet relaxed and very approachable and we had a lot of great feedback from our guests!

Working with Piptree for our dinner party at home was brilliant. Richard & Alice made everything easy. Creative menu options and delicious and beautiful looking food served that wowed our guests on the night. Thank you.

Great new find in Putney - Piptree Café proved to be an excellent choice for a very tasty brunch of avocado and roasted butternut squash served on delicious crunchy sourdough bread. Chilled atmosphere and a very friendly welcome by the staff. Definitely will return.

A cosy café with enthusiastic staff. Loved the homemade savoury cheesecake and the chocolate brownie - they were truly delicious and went very well with a flat white. It's good to see another excellent independent outlet.

We found Piptree after being let down by a caterer we had booked for 2 years for our wedding and from day 1 we wished we had had them all along.

Alice and Richard made us a variety of completely bespoke menu's to taste which were all incredible and then even invited us back to taste it again along with the wines we had chosen.

Their service doesn't stop at the catering though and they ended up sorting everything from table linen to a fridge trailer the day before the wedding!

Nothing was too much for them and every request we had was dealt with instantly and happily to an amazing standard.

On the day they were more helpful that we could have imagined and made the day run incredibly smoothly. One of our guests even messaged the next day saying they could eat the duck main course for every meal for the rest of his life!

We couldn't recommend them more and would definitely use them if we could do it all again.

Piptree were incredible from the get-go. From the tasting to the wedding day, everything was tailored to us, always quick to reply to our queries and requests. Our guests couldn't stop telling us how incredible the food was, with one commenting the post-ceremony New Yorker 'manapes' being "the best sarnie they'd ever had".

The sharing boards are generous in quantity, and gave our guests the opportunity to try a variety of Piptree's delicacies. They even took care of our personal additions to the menu with no questions asked.

Many many thanks to Alice and her team for making my 80th birthday such a delightful event, and for such helpful advice leading up to it. The food was brilliant, the grazing table looked and tasted fantastic and was much admired by my guests. A good choice!
I would certainly (and have) recommend Piptree to anyone planning any event, and would certainly use the team again. Thank you so much.

We had Piptree for our wedding. We couldn’t speak highly enough of them, from the first tasting session which was excellent and made our decision easy when selecting our catering team for the wedding as they were so engaging and thoughtful (they even made personalised menus for us)!
We had 180 guests for the wedding which was a challenge in itself, Alice and Richard were so helpful with calls before to help us understand how best to manage the day, from selecting canapés to understanding how many napkins you need, it was all taken care off.
Onto the food, this was arguably the best wedding food we have had (not to be biased), we had so many comments from guests who enjoyed it and we were so impressed with how well it was managed on the day too!
Would highly recommend Piptree!

Our third time hiring Piptree to cater for our events and as usual they did not disappoint. The quality of the food and ingredients is delicious and the team are so lovely! Cannot recommend them enough. Thank you Alice, Richard and the rest of the team.

Excellent food, well presented, and delivered on time. We were provided with a wide range of choice and Alice helped us to decide on the best options. Piptree was very responsive to our needs, in contrast to some other caters we approached. Highly recommend Piptree to anyone planning an event.

The most FANTASTIC food! Thank you so much to Richard, Dan and team for the such an amazing meal at our charity Ball. Catering for 185 people, in a barn in the middle of nowhere, isn’t an easy thing to do, but you guys excelled yourselves - utterly amazing!!
Delicious food beautifully presented. Dan, you looked after us so well. We, the organising committee, felt so relaxed and happy as we knew you had everything under control and we didn't have to worry about a thing. First Class food and 5 star service.

Richard and Alice were brilliant from the initial call to the final clearing up and created a magical street party vibe to our catering with three stalls providing amazingly varied and gorgeous food. The canapés to start were delicious and the huge mountain of brownies were the perfect end to the evening. It is lovely to get wonderful complements about the food and I know how much hard work the Piptree team put into planning and preparing to get such great results. Thank you so much for bringing the idea to life and to all your staff for their help and kindness on the night, they were all smiles and that always helps things flow even better.
