Excellent

When ordering our coving the staff were helpful and managed to arrange a delivery date whilst I was on the phone. The order was delivered well with the timescale. The very helpful amazing female delivery driver was polite and helpful and proceeded to place the coving into the room I wanted. I am well pleased and will definitely use this company again. Thank you

Great service and an excellent product

I was initially hesitant ordering a fragile plaster product online, however as I couldn't find what I needed in any local shops I decided to order from Plaster Coving Ltd. Delivery was made within 2 days and the product was packaged extremely well, and as a result arrived in perfect condition. Very pleased with the quality of the product too.

Coving sample

Ordered a coving sample and although arrived promptly was broken in so many places the pattern and purpose was defeated and difficult to recognise. We have gone to another supplier for our product but I would trust that if we had ordered a large supply I would expect it to arrive in better condition. Luckily the sample was only £5 plus p+p so our loss wasnt too great!

Hi,
I am very sorry to hear this. We send all our samples through a next day courier service We send a great number of samples every day and I can assure you that this hardly ever happens. And if it does we always act promptly and send another sample straight away and free of charge.Unfortunately this might have happened because of a heavy handed courier.
We do also offer full refunds as long as we are informed about a problem through a simple email or phone call!
In your case we did NOT receive any calls or emails.
When we deliver the actual coving we use our own vans and experienced drivers, so we can guarantee a safe transportation of our coving. I can proudly say we hardly ever have any problems.
I just wish you had contacted our office to inform us about the situation as we would have helped you immediately.
I think it is a bit unfair to be notified through a 2 star review about something as simple as this when we pride ourself on our great customer service and excellent products.

Super choice, helpful staff

Samples were delivered undamaged so we could choose the coving we wanted by trying a sample. The order came through quickly with only small knocks. Pity they don't do adhesive.

Great ceiling rose

Could not find anywhere local that sold a range of ceiling roses, places I used to know have closed down, I guess not everyone has a period property these days. Found Plaster Coving Ltd via the internet. Great range of styles and sizes. Easy to order, quick delivery and product was well packaged to prevent damage. Fitted it today with tile adhesive and four screws - looks great.

Great Service

Ordered online, within the Hour I got a call to arrange delivery, Would definitely recommend & use again, bought 4 large ceiling rose,
Two already in place, look like there the originals to our old Victorian house :-)

Disappointing product

Delivery was expensive, had to ask when it was going to be delivered, product came looked OK until I unraped it, cracks, bits falling off of it. Looked to get a refund but read that once off the van it's unrefundable, is could of been explained better when buying on the web site or with the delivery man. Also website claims that coving is hand made but mine was made else where. Won't be buying from here again.

Hi,
I am very sorry about your experience but unless you contact our office to tell us about the problem I am afraid we wouldn't be aware of it hence we wouldn't be able to help you.
You only received your coving 2 days ago so you are still in the guarantee time. We never refuse a replacement or a full refund if customers have a legitimate reason. If you had actually tried and contact us You would have been surprised by how helpful and professional our staff is.
As for the delivery charge I will have to disagree as it is actually quite cheap especially if you consider we delivered your coving (which by the way is hand made) over 200 miles away from our warehouse. As I have already stated in a different occasion we deliver our products in our own vans and we subsidise every delivery by putting together a few orders so we only charge a small standard fixed rate of £39.50 to deliver all over the country,which is not expensive if we consider time, fuel and any other expenses.
Having said this I really hope you will contact us tomorrow, but I am sure one of the girls in the office will call you first thing in the morning.
I just wish we were notified about this through a call or an email as I think that should have been the first step to rectify a simple problem like this.

I am pleased to say that the problem with this order was dealt with immediately and sorted straight away.

Great value for such a great product

I order 20 metres of coving for my living room and it looks wonderful, it was delivered by a helpful young man who brought it into my house for me. I was given a time slot for delivery so I knew exactly when it was arriving. Fast delivery and helpful staff. I will definitely be ordering more for my bedroom.

Poor delivery

My goods arrived unpacked and broken
When I contacted Plastercoving they told me the goods are prone to this because of the nature of the material.
I am currently waiting for a ceiling rose to be replaced, delivery dates are expensive and slow

Hi,
I am very sorry if you feel you had a bad experience with our product and our service, but I can reassure you that the situation was dealt with promptly and professionally by all the staff in our warehouse and office.
As soon as you reported the 2 lengths of damaged coving we refunded the full amount you paid and the money was back in your bank within 24 hours.
As for the product not being packed I can tell you that in your case the dado rail had just been made and being very fresh it was not wrapped in our usual cellophane paper as it could have caused sweating and bending of the lengths.
In regards with our delivery being slow and expensive i will have to disagree as your full order was delivered to you within 7 working days and considering it is a hand made product I would say it is very reasonable. Also we deliver our products in our own vans and we subsidise every delivery by putting together a few orders so we only charge a small standard fixed rate of £39.50 to deliver all over the country,which is not expensive if we consider time, fuel and any other expenses.
As for the damaged rose I am sure you will understand that when dealing with real plaster items sometimes a little damage might occur although it does not happen very often. When it happens though we are very happy to replace the item. As soon as you told us we agreed on an immediate swap which will happen as soon as we are in your area as agreed with you via email.
