I ordered the blue vinyl N-Tyce and I have to say was a great pressing with fast shipping and I had good communication with the company even chatted on instagram . I would order again if something took my fancy .
Avoid at all costs.
I'm glad everyone else is realising how bad this one man run company is. The Nicola Roberts vinyl release was diabolical, the most rudest and unprofessional customer service experience I've ever faced buying vinyl records. It took me 2 and a half years and over 50 emails to getting the record, that I ordered all back in day one of the pre-order process.
Avoid buying direct and stick to eBay. If you're looking to press albums with them, just go to another place and do it yourself.

Good morning,
This will be my last attempt at contact.
On February 27, 2023, I made a pre-order on your website, worth £145.00 (€173.07 EUR), which includes 2 double vinyls, 2 cassettes, 1 double CD and shipping to my address.
On the same day I sent an email:
"Good morning,
I accidentally ordered 2 of the same cassettes in my Lisa Scott-Lee order, can I change to just one?"
to which you promptly responded:
"Hi,
Thanks for contacting PPHQ.
Order amended for you & refund will take 10-15 business days.
Thanks
PPHQ".
I was relaxed waiting for my order.
On October 23rd, a week after the launch of the pre-purchased items, I got in touch again via email:
"I'm waiting for my order, I went to the website to check the status and it says cancelled. What happened?",
to which you promptly responded:
"Hi,
Thanks for contacting PPHQ.
This is due to the changes that you made to your order previously. The system has marked the full order as cancelled. I've spoken with distribution center to get it shipped out now.
Thanks
PPHQ".
I didn't receive an apology, on the contrary, they still blamed me for what happened, for having made changes to the order before.
Since then, I haven't received my order. I contacted you again via email on the following days:
November 16th;
November 20th;
November 22;
and countless other times, via Facebook, Instagram and X.
To which you didn't answer me once. The last time they responded to me was on October 24th in the email transcribed above.
I hope that this time you have the seriousness and professionalism to respond and resolve this situation.
Or I will have no other option, and make this problem public and take legal decisions to resolve it.

false advertising poor customer service
ordered a signed lisa scott-lee album and received an unsigned copy with a photograph signed instead, no communication or option to cance and my return request was ignored
i would not have ordered an unsigned cd with a signed print and the print does not even look like lisa's signature
this company are a total embarrassment and artists should think twice before trusting them with releasing their music
Shoddy products, dreadful customer service
Shoddy products - promoted a Lisa Scott Lee “signed CD” but all orders arrived with a signed print, no apology or explanation, autograph on print looks completely different to Lisa’s usual style although she claims they are authentic.
CD uses poor quality files which result in a tinny sound on some tracks.
Products delivered late, release dates changed and delayed constantly.
“Company” appears to be a one man band over promising and under delivering. Completely unapologetic and doesn’t appear to acknowledge or take on board any negative reviews.
This company seems like a great idea with the right infrastructure, which it clearly does not have.
Not the best experience. Wouldn’t order again

Scam
I ordered a vinyl, waited more than a week to even dispatch it, but it never happened.
Got no answers for my e-mail.
Worst experience of all time.
Thank god I paid with paypal so I got my money back.

Great Titles - Horrible Business Model
Firstly, Plastic Pop release some great and sought after titles however that’s the only bonus to their business.
Every single release I have purchased has been delayed and blighted with issues - Sophie Ellis Bextor, Nicola Roberts, Whigfield and Lisa Scott Lee.
They take pre-orders and fill payment 6 months in advance with a very vague release date, once the release date comes and goes they fail to offer any kind of communication - responses to emails are poor at best and they go silent on social media and delete any negative responses to their posts.
They clearly operate on a basis of taking peoples money half a year in advance to fund releases and then attempt to get them ready for their original release date however they do not make it clear this is how they operate or to expect lengthy delays, if they were transparent about how they operate then people would be able to make an informed decision and not be frustrated by lack of communication.
Plastic Pop seem to be a kind of ‘band camp’ operation with fans funding releases before they are ready.
It’s such a shame they are not clear on communication as ultimately it will and has cost them customers.
Didnt get my product
Bought a vinyl, never received it. I emailed their costumer service 2 times to ask about it but never got an email back. Wouldn't recommend.
Good releases but lack of customer support
They have some fantastic releases but are shockingly bad for ignoring customer complaints and for delaying releases. As others have said, orders sometimes go missing or end up on hold for months on end. Perhaps if they spent less time worrying about which concert they were going to next and dedicated more time to the people who give them their hard-earned money, they would have a better reputation. As long as they continue to release underrated albums from some of the best pop stars the 00s had to offer, I will continue to be a customer but their customer support really needs improving.
PLASTIC POP RECORDS ARE A SCAM WEBSITE!
Plastic Pop Records are a scam! No contact from them 3 weeks after order was placed. When I did contacted PPR they were rude and not helpful at all. So I decided to cancel my order but PPR couldn’t even do that so I opened a dispute with PayPal to get my refund. Protect yourself from this scam website only pay using PayPal.

plasticpop.co.uk is the worst webstore I've ever had to deal with online!!! Extremely rude and unprofessional customer service who don't care about helping their customers.. Having bought from them in October, by mid-December my order never arrived. The tracking info showed that it was rejected by Irish customs and returned to sender.
They never answered my emails until 5 weeks later (after I opened a dispute with PayPal) telling me that they were on holidays for the entire month of November (!!) and to check my local post office, not even an apology!I asked for a refund and was ignored.
Yesterday paypal closed my claim and awarded me a full refund!
I will never buy from plasticpop ever again and advise anyone else thinking of making a purchase reconsider or at least only use paypal, where you can open a dispute should there be any issues with order!

Items damaged, no response to emails
Items were not packaged well enough to arrive in Australia without damage, despite the high shipping cost.
My emails to Plasticpop support have been ignored.
Terrible customer service
Products are paid for and ordered way before they are made or released I had supposedly supplied wrong address even though I’d already received half my items, then had to pay extra for redistribution of the rest of my order, waited 3 weeks for it all to be sorted and the customer service were extremely rude and not helpful whatsoever. I had to chase everything myself constantly

plasticpop.co.uk is the worst webstore!!! Just rude and unprofessional customer service who don't care about helping customers.. I 100% now understand why they have so many bad reviews!! Just glad I seen them for the crap company they are and cancelled my order with them and told them to delete my whole account I had with them as I will never use them again but looking at the lack of artists that use them to sell there items I've got no need to use them again 🤣
Products are great quality but takes…
Products are great quality but takes too long to be shipped. Bought a vinyl on October/2021, we’re in june and still no sign of it, besides, no updates from the page. There’s not even an exact date for the release, only “summer 2022”. That’s too vague people!
Unable to part ship orders. Announce new products far too early leading to disappointment
They have a very frustrating policy of not part shipping orders, meaning that when an item release date changes (which appears to happen with every release they announce) you end up having to wait months for a full delivery. My advice would be not to advertise or announce products until they are 100% sure they can deliver. Its very unfortunate as the records themselves are great. I will not be purchasing direct again though.
Great customer service.
The quality of the product is of a very high quality. One of my purchases had a little damage to the sleeve. Emailed the guys and they had a brand new replacement copy mailed out straight away. Exceptional customer service!
Amazing service from Plastic Pop Records
Ordered the Nicola Roberts album on release day and didn’t pay for next day delivery so wasn’t expecting it to arrive for a few days. It arrived the next day. Extremely impressed with the service and of course the quality of the album! Go Nicola!!
