DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! My husband ordered a watch, it finally arrived and was faulty so returned it for a replacement which never arrived. Despite numerous attempts to contact Jake he was completely ignored so have had to refer back to our credit card company for a refund

I am so confused?! I bought a children’s play sofa from this site several months ago?! And it’s falling apart- come to the website to contact them and it’s now selling watches?!? But under the same ‘play sofa’ .com?

Can someone contact me please about returning?

Scam company. Didn’t receive anything except an email. When I emailed 3 times I got no response. Contacted bank to get a chargeback. After 4 weeks they emailed me to as why I did the chargeback and claimed they did not receive anything except emails even after I screenshot one to show them. STAY AWAY and be warned.

STILL NO REFUND!!!! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS TERRIBLE COMPANY!!!

Paid £119.99 to get an email saying my order was processed then I got another enails to say my murder is completed but no sign of my watch, I've tried to email and tried to call but not getting anywhere. My bank will reverse the charges.

*UPDATE* Jake replied to me by email this morning saying that my watch has been posted then within 30 minutes he sends another email saying that my order has been refunded, so which is it? Neither I strongly suspect after reading everyone's comments, my bank will get the money back anyway!

Same experience as other people here: after I bought a watch they provided useless tracking details after I complained; after another complained they updated details apologizing for stock problems; after another complaint when I asked for a refund, they apologized and promised a refund in 3-5 days, it has been 10 days and no refund arrived. Scammers!!!!

Purchased a watch and never got delivered. I received an email from a person called Jake stating the order had been processed and then another one saying it had been shipped. Nothing arrived. I emailed a few times asking for an update but got no reply. Do not buy from Play Sofa. Definitely is a SCAM! Rob you for your money and nothing gets delivered! It’s not even the same company name on the transaction made through my bank!

Ordered a watch.
Partner wanted this watch for along time but refused to pay that crazy price.
Found it on here so much cheaper and was very sceptical.
Placed order.
Emailed and phoned company to find out where my order was and no response. Thought I had been scammed.
Came home from work today to find the watch had been delivered.
So happy with the watch.
Would have given 5 star review but your customer service needs alot of work.

Previously put on a highly negative review and accusing them of scamming. The watch did arrive sometime jafter it was expected but after having registered the watch with Tissot, it is genuine. Excellent watch and great value for money. The company also issued a partial refund on the purchase price for the inconveniece which they didn't have to. All ended up well so I have amended my previous review. Thank you for honouring your commitment Jake and I wish you well.

SCAM COMPANY. STAY AWAY!!!!!
Ordered a watch 2 February, supposedly in stock, complete rubbish. Email from Jake to say delayed (email came through at 10 o'clock at night on Sunday) company name under jakes name was not play sofa, it was watches world however the transaction name was different again watch London!!!!! Luckily got straight onto the bank and got a refund same day. BE VERY CAREFUL!!!

This company advertised as being UK based and orders are for watches supposedly in the UK. I received a tracking number for Royal Mail but then that changes to another tracking number after several days as the company do not have any UK stock. The new tracking number is for a Chinese postal service that fails to update for days. I requested confirmation that the watch was genuine and from an approved dealer and that I would be getting the watch checked for authentication when it arrived. I received no communication at all to my email, I then sent another couple of emails also with no response. I then advised that I wanted a refund as the watch was now coming from China, again no response.
I have reported this to my credit card company to investigate and made a claim as the original sale was for a UK based watch from a UK company.

Also believe it’s a scam as I’ve had the same experience us the other two reviews below.

I’m going to contact my bank today and hopefully recoup my losses.

Possibly a scam company. Bought a sofa online in early August - they took our money and then never sent an order confirmation. Have called daily for 3 weeks and never got a reply, have emailed and never got a reply, not sure the company actually exists (have checked on google streetview at the address and can’t see the playsofa store. Will be contacting visa to get my money back and reporting to the police.

Update: 07/09/24 Unsurprisingly I still have no sofa. I have sent more emails and left more voicemails with no response. I have reported this to the bank now as it appears this business is a total scam.

Update: After finally recieving an update on 26th July (they had been having issues with their foam etc) dispatch was agreed to happen from the 5th Aug. Once again I am back to having no communication with the company and no dispatch info. These are not cheap items and they have over £300 of my money. I'm so disappointed in the brand.

I placed an order with this company on July 6th and have had no communication since. I have emailed and called and have received no response. I will keep trying to contact them in the hope my order is still being made but I would avoid this company. I will be reporting them if I continue to be ignored/no product is received. Very disappointed in "The UK's number 1 kids soft play modular sofa couch" as their website states!

I'm going to caveat everything I'm about to write by saying that the product is actually great. My review is purely about the customer service or lack thereof.
After purchase, I received confirmation of my order and then complete radio-silence.
Nothing, until I followed up the day after I should have received the sofa to ask for a status update. This request was ignored.
So, I wrote again and this time received the response that there was an issue with supply and that my sofa would be dispatched 5 days later and I would receive an email with tracking details.
I responded to this email stating my disappointment (this was a gift for our daughter's 1st birthday which had passed). My email was ignored.
I failed to receive any tracking information and my Play Sofa was delivered 10 days later (4 weeks after I had ordered it).
It arrived wrapped in unbranded, orange plastic.
Nothing about this communication made me feel good about my purchase which is all such a shame because, as I stated previously, the actual product is great.

I was unsure at first due to the size and only having a small space but glad I got it as it’s so soft and fun

I have tried my absolute hardest to make all of the shapes with my little one but he’s not having any of it. He just likes to sit in it and watch his iPad and I won’t be telling him otherwise.

They are really busy at the moment. I waited the time it said in the website and I emailed asking for an update. They replied saying it was dispatched via ParcelForce and it arrived the very next day.

It’s so nice to give my child something unique and practical, not the normal presents you can find in any shop on the high street.
