Terrible company robbed me and attacked me racially

Great service! Our plumber was extremely polite and did a brilliant job replacing our broken sink. Communication was easy and very responsive

Our experience with Plumus was overall negative, and we do not recommend them. While the quality of their plumbing work is high, the invoicing/charging was not transparent and we believe that we were substantially overcharged.

We called them for various minor plumbing issues. Upon inspection the engineer declared our boiler unfit for use. They decomissioned it and advised an urgent 3-day plan of major works to begin the next day, including replacement of the boiler. The quote was an eye-watering five figure sum and we had to pay half of it immediately, otherwise they couldn’t guarantee availability. The engineer implied we could be stuck for days. Faced with the prospect of no heating in winter, we agreed. We asked for a detailed quote of the upcoming works. However, the break-down did not follow. During the following three days whilst the works were carried out, we repeated our request for an invoice daily and were reassured by Plumus that we would receive this shortly.

When they were on site, we found the engineers professional and attentive, and they clearly know their trade very well. The work was concluded within time and the quality was to our satisfaction. We have no complaints on that front.

We paid the remaining invoice but the itemised bill never arrived. We eventually received a description of the works without any proper itemisation of parts that had been purchased and costs, nor any breakdown between labour and parts as it is standard professional practice in the trade services. We sent another query asking them again to provide a proper breakdown so we could understand actual expenses and how labour fees were calculated. They never provided this.

Given that the boiler was not in a great state, it is quite likely that the decision to decommission it was the right one. However, we feel that they took advantage of our vulnerability in that moment to push us into accepting an extremely high quote. Based on our own calculations (based on the parts listed and highest daily fees for London plumbers), we believe that we were overcharged substantially - by thousands of pounds.

The level of expertise and professionalism is fantastic with this company. If you prioritise response time, job thoroughness (completing work in one visit) and reliability than this is your choice. Our engineer was Luke and his attitude and attention to details was the best I have ever seen.

Plumus did a great job clearing the waste water pipe from our attic bathroom. The blockage was in an awkward location and difficult to access and we’d already called out Dynorod, who gave up after half an hour - Harry from Plumus persevered and after 2 hours solid work finally managed to get it clear. I’d thoroughly recommend the company - they were polite, tidy and available at 24 hours notice.

Very good experience from the initial telephone call onwards. Craig arrived within a couple of hours of booking on a Sunday, and was very helpful and personable. Much appreciated.

Very good service. They answered the phone quickly. The person on the phone was very friendly and they sent an emergency plumber within the hour, even though it was already after 9:00pm.
The plumber himself was very nice and well presented, very professional and knowledgeable, and he diagnosed the problem immediately. He came back this morning to install the replacement part and arrived promptly on time.
I am very pleased with this company and I would highly recommend it. Thank you.

Amazing service! We had an emergency with a sewage pipe overflowing in the middle of the night. We called Plumus and they were brilliant and had someone on site within 60 minutes. Craig was fantastic and sorted the problem out and was very knowledgeable, considerate, and helpful. We will definitely be using Plumus again as they provide a full range of plumbing services.
