This company, PM-Law, has now closed and is under criminal investigation for fraud.

They were the most incompetent lawyers that I have dealt with.

If you are dealing with a lawyer who lists PM-Law on their resume, I would recommend doing your due diligence.

I have been left high and dry with a court case scheduled within a few days, and have not received any notification of my pending status from PM-Law.

I have been notified by the opposition solicitors that I am now unrepresented.

As the "company called PM- Law" has closed down, there is nobody to hold accountable.

One of worst experiences I’ve ever received from ANY law company! Made my last 3 years a complete nightmare for me . Awful customer care and don’t care what the do to you case or anything. Never answering phone calls or emails. I have complained to them many times to the complaints department about Claire White for not replying to my email no for my phone call I wish I never given that case as I think they were not capable to deal with it

Now I’m at the end of my sale (which pm law delayed and delayed) I’m having to get my purchase law firm to take over. Pm law have done everything to sabotage my sale and now even my purchase. They owe me money aswell which I paid in. Conmen!

Avoid at all costs. The most shambolic experience I’ve ever had the misfortune of going through. PM Law set the completion date for the entire chain, and we were supposed to exchange the week before. Every day (after I chased them) they assured me it was imminent and on time.
When completion day arrived, we had our removal team in, time booked off work, and the trucks loaded and ready to go. As the day went on, we heard absolutely nothing. Each time I contacted PM Law, they repeated that the file was with the Compliance Team and that exchange and completion would happen any moment.
By the end of the day, the office simply closed. No communication, no explanation, no apology. I spent the evening unloading all my belongings back into my home and the weekend sleeping on a mattress on the floor.
You may think that's bad enough, on the 2nd attempt to exchange and complete (5 days later and urgent due to the mortgage funds needing to be returned at the end of the working day which would require reapplying for at a lengthy delay) they done the same again, this time they'd lost the signed contract. 
I am out of pocket several thousand pounds due their lies and incompetence. Not even an apology.
They have been the most inept and incompetent company I have ever come across. Avoid at all costs.

i was appointed to proddow mckay from my insurance aviva after a car collision. they kept in touch with me regularly over the two years of waiting for a court date to be finalised, came back to me on any queries i had effectively and was extremely helpful. a massive thanks to mr atif mian as my barrister though, he was extremely knowledgeable and professional in his approach which got me a great result at my hearing.

I would never use this firm again for conveyancing ! Was passed from team to team and due to their incompetence my buyer pulled out

I asked Jemma of John M Lewis to set up my Will. It was a pleasant and professional service from first contact to completion, in less than a week.

Sent an email to my elderly mother-in-law, whose husband had just passed away after c.60 years of marriage.
When I asked to cease and desist they sent another email. Also sent postal correspondence.
They work on behalf of Aviva.

The firm dealt with a more complex probate and conveyancing issue following the death of my mother.
Danielle Harps and Julia Gatenby handled all aspects of the case professionally, sympathetically and at reasonable cost. We were kept fully informed throughout the process and given expert help and guidance. A lot of pressure was exerted by the purchasers of the property to meet the deadline for the increase in Stamp Duty which necessitated a more flexible completion process but this was handled most efficiently and reassuringly. The family are very much indebted all the team at Wilson's/PM Law and have no hesitation in recommending them.

Avoid. I contacted them on 19th June to say our "seller" had withdrawn the property we were buying (about 3 weeks before planned completion) and could they (Team Shaw) advise on next steps. Despite 2 emails and 2 messages (via their own messaging platform) didn't hear from anyone until 4th July, and that was to say they were waiting on feedback from the "sellers" solicitor. No help, advice, empathy, or apology for not responding...honestly find a local firm. We only used them because of rules about specific firms handling "relevant buildings", and I regret appointing them. No doubt they will expect a faster response from me that I got from them, when they bill me.

Should have read the Trustpilot reviews before I contacted PM law because I completely wasted my time and energy. Don’t waste your time.

PM Law handled my late mother's estate with sympathy, understanding and incredible efficiency. The appointed solicitor was always happy to explain the processes involved and answer my questions. I was kept informed of progress on a regular basis and was provided with advice on the storage of the documents for any future legal requirements. Dealing with the death of a parent is rarely easy, especially for the first time, but I couldn't have asked for a better service and will definitely use PM Law again.

Terrible! Do not use them. They are so unprofessional. I had to pay them in advance (almost £1000.00), they passed my case from one team to another, I had to contact them on numerous occasions, the work that they were supposed to have done was not completed and, unfortunately, the property I was purchasing went back on the market due to the lack of progress made by this terrible firm. A horrible experience! Do not use them if you want a smooth property purchase experience.

Excellent work and help from Team Cutts when selling a house.

WARNING!!!!! Do not use!!!! Was put onto this company by auction house as needed to complete in 28 days. I paid a £25 fee to secure the contract and then on completing all the forms was told they had decided they didn’t have time or resources to complete our purchase. We are now trying to find another solicitor to complete in 23 days. Absolutely no regard for anyone. Should not be recommended by estate agent - I’m thinking they probably get referral fees as to why they do it but these people are cowboy see .

PMpl failed to attend a mediation appointment I arranged from NZ and I am still waiting for them to finalise the fraud they perpetuated on me. DO NOT INSTRUCT they are only interested in collecting fees for substandard legal work that has left me out of pocket for over 3 years

There were a few teething problems, however once my concerns were swiftly addressed my experience greatly improved. I had good communication throughout, and the matter was dealt with in a professional manner. It was a shame that this was delayed initially but it was resolved in the end.

I am currently dealing with PM LAW Solicitors for my conveyance, and it’s been a highly regrettable experience. Unfortunately, I didn’t check their reviews before agreeing to their services, which have proven to be abysmal.

Communication has been lacking since the beginning of the case, three months ago, with constant delays and no clear explanations. Despite repeated attempts by the seller, the agent, and myself to push for a completion date, there has been no satisfactory response from PM LAW Solicitors.

Adding to the frustration, my case was handed over to a different solicitor right at the end, after the previous one left the firm. This has only caused further delays.

Based on my experience, I strongly advise against using PM LAW Solicitors unless you are looking for unnecessary complications. I sincerely hope to get through this process as quickly as possible and forget that this firm ever existed. They should not be in business.

PM LAW, please don't bother replying to this review and instead, reply to my e-mails and get the case finished once for all.

Edit. It’s now June 2025 and PMPL still did not manage to complete my purchase and only now they realised an issue that should have been spotted when they started my case. It’s chaos after chaos. A very big court action will follow if we ever complete.

Rude, abrupt, aggressive, and the actual advice left me more confused than when I started.
