Study hall was very helpful and the question of the day.

Clear and detailed instructions throughout the application process. This helped me know what was required and provided transparency regarding the application status.

Really it was very nice

Honestly the test itself was pretty straight forward, however, the onsite testing feels a bit intimidating and overwhelming at moments. Also, there is so much study material and tools available that I wish there was more of a stream lined study guide to reference. I purchased the PMI study hall subscription which was very helpful in some ways, however, the practice tests did not prepare me for the real exam as much as I would have hoped.

Earning my PMP certification was a rewarding journey. It reinforced my confidence in my leadership and decision-making abilities while reaffirming how I approach projects in the regulatory domain, particularly in risk management and compliance.

The preparation required dedication, but seeing the "Congratulations" message made every hour worthwhile. Beyond the certification, I enjoyed learning alongside like-minded professionals. PMI sets the gold standard for project management, and I highly recommend the PMP certification to anyone looking to advance their career while continuing to grow professionally.

The entire process of preparing, applying and taking tge exam is pretty clear and the instructions are easy to follow. The support provided through chat is excellent too.

Loved what I learned and how it has shaped me to be a better project manager. There is never too much information or too many ways to which you can learn to be more efficient and it is worth wanting to level up.

Its great way to be part of PMI family

I didn't like waiting in the lobby for almost 50 minutes and couldn't move. THAT MADE THE EXAM EVEN LONGER.

My PMP certification experience was a mix of extremes. On the administrative side, PMI did a fantastic job. The registration process was seamless, and my application was processed quickly and efficiently.

However, the online exam proctoring experience was completely unacceptable. It took an agonizing 90 minutes just to get through the initial system check-in process on my desktop. To make matters worse, the proctor interrupted me right in the middle of the actual exam to complain about my camera angle, forcing me to tell them to go away so I could focus and finish my test.

Overall, PMI makes the frontend application process incredibly easy, but they desperately need to evaluate their proctoring partners.

I recently passed the PMP exam and wanted to share my experience for anyone who is on the fence about taking it.

The exam itself is challenging and requires serious preparation. I used PMI Study Hall extensively, along with multiple YouTube resources and practice question banks. The key for me was not just doing questions but understanding why wrong answers were wrong, that shift in thinking made the biggest difference.

The exam is well-designed and tests real project management judgment, not just memorization. The mix of predictive, agile, and hybrid questions felt balanced and representative of real-world scenarios.

If you’re preparing, focus on understanding PMI’s mindset: how the ideal project manager thinks and acts, rather than trying to memorize. That’s what the exam is really testing.

Worth every bit of effort. Highly recommend PMI and the PMP credential for any serious project management professional.

My experience taking the test from home was terrible. Check-in took about 30 minutes, as expected, but then I had to wait for over 3 hours to be greeted by a person! Meanwhile the message on the screen said that I had to stay within the webcam view and was not allowed to touch any prohibited item.
I tried to contact customer support when given the chance, it took over 1 hour to get an actual human to answer via chat, but she was no help at all.
It was the worst testing experience of my life!

Had great experience as expected.

It is a difficult exam. The PMBOK gives the basics but not the logic or strategy. You need to spend resources outside of what PMP provides. Watch a YouTube video to see what you need.

Very well structured. The methodology followed is well aligned with market requirements.

PMI have a very clean, organized and easy to understand process for obtaining your PMP. Additionally, they are candid in the work they require candidates to perform in order to obtain their certifications. Finally, their website is clean and intuitive.
