If I could rate it lower, I would. I ordered what I saw online: emerald and diamond, channel set earrings. What I received was damaged - not even costume quality jewelry. The emeralds were dull and did not see any diamonds. It was missing an emerald which made it obviously very poor quality junk. I am so upset that I paid $112.00. Thee aren't even good enough for Goodwill. I called the support number but I have zero faith they will make it right. BBB could not have given them an A+ and if they did, shame on them. This has got to be an imposter representing the 'police auctions'? I am very, very concerned about this. Do no buy from this site. You will be disappointed then angry that you got scammed out of your hard earned money.

It’s a scam, they say it’s this or that and what comes is usually a nice piece of costume jewelry. And they make it so it is impossible to send back without paying the extra charges because these were dropped in my mailbox in plastic bags. I paid over $400. For like 6 different pieces and they all said they were worth thousands but no not even 20$

This happened to me two times. (I have taken a picture to show what happened at the closing bid).
The person that stated: "they have people (employees) to raise the price on an item", is true. I use the Police Auction to try and replace some items after I was robbed. So, I was online checking the jewelry often. I also noticed if you make a last minute bid on an item, they can control if you win or the employee wins. I have pictures of this, because it happened to me quite a few times. I have pictures of two bid that said i lost the bid, but my name is at the time showing I won. The way I know that they are employees bidding against us, if I bid all the way up to the end of the bid and loose, a couple of hours later I'm offered a second chance to buy the item, and it usually $40.00 or $50.00 higher than my last bid. If I decalin the item, they run it thru the system again. Their rings, coins and some of their other items seem to be as they say. Some are really nice, but it seem like they are controlling the bids. I have seen items go thru the system 5 or 6 times before it is purchased by a real bidder.

You can tell people are bidding to raise the prices. If you look at bids you’ll see someone bid like 10 bucks then right after the same person bids again for 16. Obviously the the site it’s self or someone is outbidding themselves just to raise the prices to make more money. Shouldn’t this be illegal?

I’ve received multiple items including jewelry, fossils, and coins. I think the negative reviews come from people who aren’t reading the item descriptions. For the jewelry, they clearly state what stones are used, including if it’s cubic zirconia. This is an auction for seized items, so naturally the packaging won’t look fancy like something you’d get from a department store but I have found some awesome items for a fraction of the price.

I bought a diamond bracelet that they said was worth $3,100. Ok so I received it in a plain box with no literature to say anything about the bracelet. I knew when I took it out it was not worth the price quoted but I bought it for $79.00. I took it to my jeweler who confirmed yes those are tiny little diamond chips and it is sterling silver. It is worth in the range of $110 - $200 depending on the store you would go to. So beware the prices they quote are not even close!!!

I was not expecting to bid on the Crown jewels on this site so c'mon people, quit leaving crummy reviews. I bid on, and won 1 ring, 2 bracelets, and 1 pair of earrings.
ALL BEAUTIFUL. Shipped promptly and well packaged. I got what I paid for. Pretty jewelry to WEAR, not to place in my investment portfolio!!

I won 4 bids all came in a timely fashion. All beautiful, I was very happy with all I received.

I have nothing but good things to say about police auction I have button diamond rings diamond bracelets silver rings gold rings never had any problems everything is Tip Top very happy with police auction I will be buying from them for years..

I purchased a 50 carat lot of supposedly AAA Grade emeralds. While I would have been very surprised if they turned out to be AAA Grade, they are all low commercial quality and not worth much. They are still worth more than the $50 I paid for them so there is that.

Stone already fell out after a month. Will not buy here again. Very disappointed. And don't believe this is a real site. How can you have the same design in rings multiple times. Hmmm rob a jewelry store. Doubt it.

I have purchased quite a number of rings and earrings from them over the last year. I thought I was getting a good deal until I brought them to a jeweler. The items are smaller than pictured, are poor quality stones and metal. The rings and earrings are pretty but not worth more than $50 each. Very disappointed because I feel I was duped.

I won 3 auctions for 3 pairs of earrings. All are beautiful and exactly as described. Trying to win the bidding is fun. Can't wait to bid on something else.

I sent back 4 items. 2/11 still no pay back. Told me were not received. I went to ups were received 5 days later Then tell me I have not paid for a few items I have the items. Going through my bank account I was charged ex. On items plus never return calls

I'm disappointed with because they are selling fake jewelry at higher than market price actually you were getting ripped off they showing you it's worth one price but when you get it and look it up it's not worth nothing really definitely with their jewelry because silver is not that expensive whenever you see them posting up a sterling silver ring I don't care if it got diamonds or whatever on it costing $5,600 $800 $900 is fake because you could get a gold one for that price it's a scam I'm returning all six items I bought from them

Paid $150 for Elvis memorabilia in Sept, was a Christmas present. Its now 28th Dec, still no sign of it 😢

This site is a scan nothing is like what was described on here and overpriced not good I was ripped off by this mob

I bought a watch from a police auction, and overall, I was disappointed. The watch is very lightweight and comes in a basic, small box. When worn, it doesn’t feel special or valuable. The screen is foggy, and you need to take it off every time you wash your hands.

Keep in mind, the final cost is much higher than your bid due to additional charges like shipping, currency exchange, and PayPal fees. You could end up paying three times the actual bid amount. My advice is to be cautious and avoid bidding too high. I recommend proceeding carefully.
