Not shipped within stated timeframe
I ordered several mugs on December 16th. At the time of purchase, Polychrome Goodsâ shipping policy stated orders would ship within 1â4 business days (this was not presented as an estimate). I understood they might not arrive before Christmas, but I did expect them to ship close to that timeframe.
My order did not ship until December 28th. When I emailed to ask about the delay, they did respond and said it would ship eventually, which I appreciated, but the delay was still significant given the stated policy.
The order was shipped via OnTrac, which resulted in additional delays and a mis-sort. When it was finally delivered, the driver threw the package onto my porch from several feet away despite the box being labeled FRAGILE. Nothing was broken, but the mugs were dirty and needed to be washed before gifting. They arrived well after Christmas.
The designs themselves are nice, but the mugs are standard, mass-produced quality. I later found one of the same designs available on Amazon at a lower price with much faster shipping. I prefer supporting small businesses, but that becomes difficult when shipping commitments arenât met and the overall experience is easily outperformed elsewhere.
