Simply the best! I have attended many courses and personal lessons in various activities. Anthony's instruction/course far exceeded all. Buy the book, study, and then attend the 3 day course. His knowledge, instructional ability, and love of the game is powerful and translates to a memorable experience.

I wish I would have taken this class 5 years ago. Anthony is an awesome teacher of the game. So many "ah ha" moments throughout the 3 day class. The program was structured perfectly and we moved quickly thru the material. I would recommend this course for any level player who is looking to improve their game.

I have only good things to say about the impressive knowledge Anthony is able to impart to his students. Some people teach but can’t play at a high level and some people are expert players but can’t articulate their mechanics s well enough to students. Anthony is that rare individual that has both abilities: he plays at a highly competitive level and is able to explain in understandable details how he does what he does. I highly recommend training with him - whatever your level of play currently is.

After taking over 35 years off from playing pool, I decided to pick up the cue again and learn how to play. I wanted to establish a firm foundation to build on, did some research and discovered Anthony Beeler. I completed a 3-day session in 2022; Anthony gave me a great deal of information and guidance to help me develop a solid process. I processed this information and went back for another session two years later to continue the building process. I found both sessions to be very valuable in helping me to improve at an expedited rate. Anthony is very knowledgeable, patient, and pleasant to work with. I would go again!!!

I have know about Anthony's Academy for a while and new the Champions he has trained. I am a professional billiards trickshot artist, but my regular pool game has gone down from what it was. I was all self taught. I noticed I was missing balls I normally shouldn't so I decided to get with Anthony. I wish I would have done this 10 years ago. He got me playing like I could only imagine. I would highly recommend him.

My son and I spent 3 days working with Anthony and were blown away by his knowledge and mastery of the techniques of how to play like a pro. It was an incredible experience!

If you are thinking about taking a billiards course, I can honestly say that Anthony Beeler is the real deal. I took my son to his school, and it turned out to be one of the best choices we made to improve our game. We joined a three-day program, and every session was packed with knowledge. Anthony knows a lot about billiards, but what stood out most was his patience with both of us. Before we started, he talked with us about our goals, listened carefully, and adjusted the lessons to fit what we needed to work on. He also gave us explicit written materials to accompany the lessons. Instead of sticking strictly to a set plan, he changed his approach whenever he saw we needed something different. We learned the basics well, and he pointed out details I never would have noticed on my own. You can tell he truly cares about teaching. My only regret is that we don’t live closer, because I would love to go back more often. Anthony remains available to answer any questions I have about my game and the multitude of online materials he provides.

Well worth the money if you want to improve your skills. I’m just coming back to the game after decades away and he organizes his video instruction starting with the fundamentals. He provides nice drills to practice and improve your technique while providing quick feedback on the videos you upload. He also responds very timely to clarification questions. The lessons are succinct, understandable and he provides explanations about why the techniques he teaches are important.

I had worked on my game for several years and got to the point where I was seeing only modest gains. The frustrating part was that I was still working very hard to improve, but the results just weren’t there, and I was not able to identify why. My accuracy had increased through practice – but only to a point. I was still rattling pockets on shots that I was certain were good. Sometimes I would undercut a shot – sometimes I would overcut and not be able to explain why. There were days that I would flow around the table and play up to my ability, but then just as quickly I would drop sets to players that I knew I should easily beat. I simply couldn’t obtain consistency. I would play lights out for a stretch of time and really enjoy the game, but then mysteriously my game would go away and self-doubt and frustration would creep in. I would bounce around and try to change my stance, my grip, my bridge, my follow-through, my aiming system – everything to try to fix myself. Unfortunately, when you don’t know what to focus on, you may be making it worse by changing something that is right so that you can compensate for something that is wrong (that you aren’t even conscience of).
What I needed was someone who was able to see the whole picture, not just pieces. Someone who not only had the expertise to identify gaps in technique but the ability to clearly and concisely communicate those gaps in a way that could be easily understood. Someone who could not only direct me on what to practice, but how to practice. I needed a coach. I needed personalized feedback.
Anthony has opened my eyes to my game. He was able to watch me play, watch my alignment, my pre-shot routine, my stance, my grip, my bridge, my stroke. He was able to watch me shoot specific shots and give me immediate feedback. He has made me aware of things that I had assumed were correct that in fact were the foundation of my struggles. Anthony is a very talented and experienced player, but his real strength is his ability to take that knowledge and present it in a way, style and speed that is tailored to your ability to learn.
If you love the game but are frustrated by not playing to the level you know you are capable of, then do yourself a favor; stop guessing what may be wrong, get with a professional and start working on what is actually wrong. Anthony is that professional. I am shooting straighter now than I ever have. I am making more shots, getting better position and playing with the consistency that I knew I was capable of. You still have to practice and do the work, but with Anthony you will flatten the curve and focus on the things that give you the biggest benefit.
