Idk how I fell for it but they pretended to be Aldi.
Made the purchase and there it is, got scammed. Ah well, hope this saves someone I guess.

Je faisais partie des personnes qui souhaitaient les aider à élaborer le produit en 2016. J'ai tout payé et ça fait 10 ans que j'attends .... J'ai demandé un remboursement en 2023 que j'attends toujours aussi. C'est une arnaque!!!

The goods didn't arrive in time,like they said would.The goods were of very poor quality of plastic and paper ,not what I expected at all.Evertime contact was always the same automated message . Had to take it further.

J’ai acheté le Portable Monitor Slide V2 en pensant recevoir un écran « plug-and-play » fonctionnant simplement via USB-C ou USB-A, comme l’indiquait clairement la fiche produit.
En réalité, l’appareil exige l’installation d’un driver non mentionné dans la description, ni dans les visuels, ni dans les caractéristiques techniques. Je ne l’ai découvert qu’en ouvrant le guide fourni dans la boîte.
Dans mon environnement professionnel actuel, l’installation de logiciels non autorisés est impossible : le produit devient donc inutilisable.

Même dans mon précédent poste, où j’avais pu installer le driver, les écrans présentaient du scintillement et d’autres anomalies, ce qui remet sérieusement en question la qualité du matériel.

J’ai contacté plusieurs fois le vendeur, sur Amazon et via leur site : aucune réponse. Amazon ne peut rien faire puisque Portabl vend et expédie lui-même ce produit.

Résultat : 549 € dépensés pour un moniteur
- non conforme à la description,
- nécessitant un driver qui n’est jamais annoncé,
- et affichant des problèmes techniques même quand le driver est installé.

Signalement effectué auprès d’Econsumer.gov et de la DGCCRF (SignalConso).

Demande de remboursement faites le 20/07/2023, j'ai eu 50+ mails échangé et la ils ont complètement fermé leur mail.

Commande passée en août 2019, beaucoup de mails de relances chaque année et toujours la même réponse : patienter quelques semaines ... ALORS QUE LES COMMANDES SUR AMAZON ETAIENT LIVREES EN QUELQUES JOURS !!!!!

J’ai passé une commande le 27/07/2022 (Order #12365) et, en 2025, je n’ai toujours rien reçu.

Depuis plus de deux ans et demi, j’attends désespérément cette commande qui n’arrive jamais.

Pire encore, mon compte a été désactivé courant 2ᵉ trimestre 2025 sur leur nouveau site The Portable Monitor, m’empêchant de réclamer quoi que ce soit.

⚠️ Ces sociétés changent régulièrement de nom (Portabl, Slidenjoy, aujourd’hui The Portable Monitor) pour dissimuler leurs arnaques.

👉 Fuyez : vous risquez de perdre votre argent sans aucun recours !

Ik heb bij de opstart in 2017 !!!!! de aanbetaling gemaakt en vervolgens het volledige bedrag gestort. Na meerdere mails met excuses waarom het niet geleverd kon worden zijn ze ondertussen zoveel van naam en contact gegevens verandert dat zelfs de openstaande (oude) orders niet meer traceerbaar zijn. Ik krijg ook geen reactie meer en als ik iets post op hun Facebook pagina wordt het vakkundig verwijdert. Het is echt een SCHANDE!!

SLIDENJOY SCAM OR REAL?
I'm so frustrated with and so saddened by Slidenjoy. They had a great concept/idea yet can't get to a final production. I have been waiting since 11/2019 and spent nearly $1000. I feel like this is a scam; if not why not update your customers, why not reassure us, why not? I want the product but how much longer should I wait...other products are on market already. I am surprised legal actions have not been pursued... WHAT IS THE UPDATE SLIDENJOY...I SPENT MY MONEY AT LEAST GIVE ME THE RESPECT OF GIVING ME AN UPDATE!!!!!

Gentilmente chiedo il rimborso della sommaire prelevata dal mio conto il 12/2/2024.emmediatamente ,non voglio più niente.

Scam. 500 USD Umsonst. Warte seit mehr als 2 Jahren auf das Gerät. Support existiert quasi nicht. Ändert ständig die Domain. Webseite funktioniert nicht. Schlimmste eCommerce Erfahrung...

Je fais partie des early adopters depuis septembre 2019. J'ai échangé énormément de messages avec au début Slidenjoy, puis Patabl et maintenant The partable Monitor. À chaque fois, on me disait que ma commande était reportée, cause COVID puis cause amélioration de produit. Puis finalement, ils ont fini par supprimer mon compte sur leur dernier site. Étant en déplacement en Belgique il y a 2 mois, je suis allé sonner à la propriété, un des gérants est venu me voir avec un vieux véhicule plutôt mal habillé et en pleurnichant sur son sort. Soit disant en redressement et il ce sont fait voler leur nom par un group chinois… Blabla, Mais pas de solution proposé. Le numéros des trois dirigeant est bien affiché à l’entrée de la propriété

This company has taken my money and have never given me a product or a refund. There seems to be no accountability or integrity here, super disappointing.

I ordered the unit in January 2023 and followed up regularly. Only fake promises and responses received. Looks like lost my 500 euros .
Now all emails are bouncing back and looks like a complete scam.
Any help - How do I recover my money from these shameless company??

Bonjour, J'ai déposé plainte et suis en contact avec l'avocat/curateur, en charge du dossier et qui assure notre défense. Déposez une déclaration de créance contre cette entreprise sur REGSOL. Aux plus nous sommes à porter plainte, au plus nous augmentons nos chances qu'ils nous remboursent vu qu'ils essayent d'échapper à la justice.

Han vuelto a cambiar de dominio y de nombre pero son los mismos que yourslide y slidenjoy. Su estrategia es que compran un nuevo dominio, inversión en votos favorables y según van estafando gente, los votos se vuelven en su contra. Están denunciados pero siguen con las mismas prácticas. No os dejéis engañar por favor.

Read the other reviews that people have left and you'll see that the company even uses BS auto replies, but never makes anything right with the people they cheat. It's always one excuse after another.

It's now been EIGHT YEARS, and they still claim they don't ship because of supply shortages, but in their responses to negative reviews they say "everyone that has received it is happy". But they don't ship to people who ordered from them to fulfill the order.

Like everybody else, I am ready to admit that I have been completely scammed by these people.

I placed my order in 2016, only two receive fatuous and insulting emails where the owners would say that they have just received their prototype, they will be shipping in the next month, only to hear nothing back. And then when you reached out to them, they would say that they have encountered some sort of delay, and deny that they ever said anything about shipping anytime soon.

Then in 2019, they “re-organized“ everyone’s order numbers, apparently so that it would not be visible that people have been waiting for three years.

They also started to promise that they would give monthly updates on the progress of things, only to then not hear anything at all for months on end. And if you were lucky enough to reach out and get any sort of answer from their customer service, you felt bad for the customer service agent because clearly they were being given a script to read.

It wouldn’t have been so bad, if their lies were not, on top of everything else, intellectually insulting.

At one point I sent him a message saying “I literally have your email saying that you will be shipping MY ORDER GROUP in the next month, and now you are telling me that your product hasn’t even been manufactured, AT ALL”… to which they would copy and paste the exact same BS message as the previous time.

And the best/funniest part of all of this is how the owners sent out an email, and get this! Basically saying how THEY feel insulted because people would contact them either by email or telephone or even some folks showing up to their place of work, to yell at them for being scam artists!! THE OWNERS FELT WRONGED because they had screwed and lied to people, and those people got angry!! That is some serious gaslighting!

In reading the other one star reviews here, and seeing that not only have they rebranded themselves without sending any sort of communication, but now they are again giving some lie about how they are shipping the products out. And yet the people who have been waiting the longest, certainly have not received their items, nor even the slightest courtesy email saying “we now have a new name, and you will be receiving your product on a certain date“

At this point, I have to assume that this company is owned by a bunch of thieves, and all I can really do is try to warn other people to avoid them at all costs. I genuinely feel sorry for the lower level employees that work there, wife you’ll have also been scammed into believing in the company.

I see that the company has responded to several people on December 28, 2021, saying how “they feel sad that the customers are upset, and that people are receiving their shipments even now, yada yada yada.“ At this point, the only way that I would believe that anything coming from the company is other than a bald-faced lie is if I actually were to, by some miracle, actually receive the product. But since I am completely certain that that will never happen, I do not feel like I am losing anything by sharing my experiences with them, and warning other people to stay away.
