Informational and Very Entertaining
Our guide was so cool and really set the spooky mood with her outfit and lantern and music. She was so entertaining and very informational. Even if you are a skeptic, you still learn a lot about the history of the city and it is a great tour of some of the major buildings. I loved the way she told the stories. I also appreciated how she told the honest truth about how people of color were treated in Portland's history, and how that contributes to the haunts. Deeper Appreciation for Portland
Houston was a very knowledgeable tour guide; he truly knows the ins and outs of the community. The tour was just me and my partner, and he really made the effort to personalize it and answered all of our questions. The years he has spent in Portland along with his personal efforts with community outreach made his accounts of Portlandâs historyâpast and presentâtruly authentic. He does a wonderful job being a storyteller and keeping up-to-date with new information while being respectful to his audience and to whose who he talks about. Highly would recommend this tour if youâre someone who likes to learn about history, crimes, and ghost stories, as it had helped me learn more about the community and appreciate it to deeper level.

Brendan was totally amazing!
Brendan was totally amazing! He kept us entertained with the stories of ghosts in the area and talked about his own experiences. My husband is a slow walker and Brendan took his time with the walks and stops so that my husband could keep up. We really enjoyed the evening. Our only complaint was that we were told ahead of time to meet outside the hotel, when we could have actually sat down inside the hotel's cafe and waited. Which would have been much more comfortable.

Brendan is a great guide with a sense of humor!
I was the only sign up they had for a evening tour so Brendan, my tour guide, went all in. He was super knowledgeable and sprinkled in lots of humor and levity to some sad and tragic stories. He didnât let the fact that I was one person deflate him. He took it seriously and engaged me in the history and tales. If you take a tour, pray you get Brendan!
The tour itself is all walking, but thankfully it is all flat, with no really inclines. Itâs a longish tour, so being able to walk and keep up is necessary. You will get time to rest as your stop to listen to your guide though! Overall I canât recommend this tour company enough. I will be returning!

Fun and interesting tour
The tour guide, Jonah, was very fun to talk to and had a great way of telling the story. He had good relationships with each of the bars- you could tell by his banter with them each time we walked in. It was an overall super experience.
