It's not real. Contacted by AI 'assistant from Anderson Renewal. Totally misleading as a 'local family' company.

SCAM. SCAM. SCAM. Like many others I should have researched first but this is a front to sell your information to other companies that will insistently text and call you. If you do end up falling for it, like myself, make sure to block all the numbers that attempt to phone you. *sigh*

Great way to have your info sent to data brokers. They should be in jail.

Scam. Submitted my phone number thinking it was a legit company and I’ve gotten at least 2 dozen spam calls since then.

same complaint as everyone else. Powellandsons is not a company at all. It is a fake site to get differant companies to call you about selling tubs from a site call HomeAdvantage. I need a general contractor not a remodeling company. BAD deal powellandsons!!!

Fake company that pulled my contact information and sent it to another company. It took a while before I figured out what happened.

This is a phishing scheme. I thought it was an actual company. It's not. It's just a way to get your information and then follow up with you doggedly. I didn't realize what was going on at first, but they tried to convince me to use a gutter repair company for my foundation. Gross. Avoid.

Pretending to be a family business

As others noted, this is a lead generator/phishing operation that should be illegal. Like others, I completed a request for an estimate yesterday, and I have received calls and texts from random construction companies in my state. If anyone has found a way to make a formal complaint, please let me know. I attempted to file with the BBB, but they require a company phone number, which, of course, does not exist!

Don't request a quote! This is a fake site for a company that sells your information. Your phone will blow up with calls the next day.

I contacted Powell and Sons due to a Google search in my local area. All I needed was a single window replaced in our outbuilding that is 44 X24 inches. I submitted a description of the work on the Powell website and was contacted by DaBella windows and set up an appointment for an estimate. The DaBella "sales rep" was pushy. After receiving the estimate from the rep, I told him that I wanted to get at least one more estimate and he wouldn't take no for an answer. He called his manager four different times to come up with another estimate. A very high pressure presentation. Very frustrating experience. The rep would not leave even though I told him multiple times that I wanted to get other estimates. He finally left after an hour and a half.

They are fake. I gave Powell and Sons my info and made an appt, before realizing they were using that name as a front for JES. I'm assuming they are in cahoots with Angie's who I do not use.I plan to file a formal complaint.

Online offers a quote with a call, lady was rude and insisted on setting an appointment. They want to get in your home and pressure sell you into buying from them. I'm not an idiot and dont waste anyone's times for high priced work. The refusal of the lady to work with me is so obnoxious. She even said she nows what sales they have but doesn't know the price. The company either didn't educate for enough or she was refusing to be helpful, either way stay away from this company. Maybe they can try again when they learn customer service.

This is not a real company. The text message that I received immediately after I requested an online quote was not exactly replying to my inquiry. Which got me thinking (which I should have done before putting my information into that box) this feels like a bot or a boiler room. Then I did some more searching and came here. Thanks Trust Pilot

They are not a construction company. They will try and ascertain what you are looking for and then send you info to tons of other companies, all whom will call and text you. This is a SCAM operation and should be considered illegal. Please don't fall for it.

I have a broken storm window from a piece of wood that shot out of my mower while mowing a lawn for a customer. I simply sought an estimate for a replacement storm window went through the invasive process to enter all of my information the customer address and the required Email address with the disclosure that I agree to all of the auto dialed and email spam they wish to send me ( required emails don't constitute an agreement it's forced and i should have stopped right there). Before I ever get a quote I receive a call and a text! In the background if the call there is such a commotion that I cannot hear as though my caller is calling from McDonald's play place! I can't hear him he can't hear me. I repeat 3x that I am only seeking a quote for a customers window! The guy says is there a time tomorrow you can meet with our professional installers to go over the project? I asked "Do I need to be there for a quote on a storm window?" To which he replies yes! I reluctantly choose a 10am appointment time. He goes through more of his spiel which I can hear bits and pieces of and I say as much which he apologizes for the commotion! He then asks me if I can be there with all homeowners or decision makers indicating he had not heard a single thing I said! I said "No I'm simply seeking a quote to replace a broken storm window for a customer!" He then says "oh in that case we cannot provide an estimate because we need the homeowners present!!" You don't say? Now I can expect spam and phone calls for six months from a host of different companies which I neither need or want! Oh and it had brought me to a question with a list of home improvement services I may require assistance with which listed a bunch of options and no way to say no there are none! Not only do these people NOT care what you are seeking assistance for, they are all too happy to shuffle you through this cookie cutter nonsense farm and sell as much of your information as they can get and completely waste your time! In the age we live in this is how Buisnesses monetize their customers, rather than providing me a simple estimate they wasted 45 mins of my evening which doesn't include the time to write this well deserved review! To companies who want to streamline your incoming call operations by getting right back to your leads, this type of help will lose you business moving forward you lost this business for certain! Peoples time is valuable so perhaps you may speak to whomever fields you incoming service requests and let them know that this is not acceptable!
