Richard and Alexandra are really wonderful people and there was no one better to trust in completing our extension. They consistently went above and beyond throughout the project to make sure it was completed to a high standard. We are over the moon with the extension it has added so much light to our home and allowed us to have so much more family time in our new dining kitchen. We did have some issues with some of the work completed by a contractor on the final finish of the bathrooms which was disappointing however this doesn’t take away the care provided from both Richard and Alexandra. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Powell again. Thank you

I contacted Powell Design & Construction Ltd for a project at my home as despite them not being local I had heard of them through other means.
They were excellent in listening to what I was looking to achieve, their communication was perfect and helpful and they provided various options for me to consider and worked with me to get the result that would best work for me.
The advice was excellent, considered and once the design was agreed they provided me with a video walk through and 3d images of what the end result would be, which is priceless.
Highly recommend this company for any/all of your building design and construction needs.

From design to completion Alexandra and Richard remained professional yet friendly and very accommodating.
Alexandra was knowledgable in her field and guided us through her recommendations. No “tweak” was ever too much trouble .
Richard led his team well always being polite and respectful to our family. Emails and texts were answered and addressed super quickly again with politeness and professionalism.
The end result had a real “wow factor” admired by many. Even the after care has been faultless with snagging being quickly sorted followed by a professional cleaning company to make the whole place sparkle!
My only ever-so-slight criticism would be the lack of initial explanation as to which tradesman worked for which company as Richard sub contracts. It led to a little confusion in the communication at the start. However once it was explained to us then this issue was quickly ironed out.

Moving to a new country was not easy, but the Powell Design & Construction Ltd. helped us to settle down in a comfortable way. During the designing stage, instead of just following the customer’s instruction, Powell had a dedicated team that would go the extra mile by providing professional advises to meet my family’s needs, and we eventually found thankful by taking these advises.
We also appreciated that they maintained a constant and regular communication with us, by providing adequate, detailed pictures and videos to report the working process, which was very essential to us, as we were unable to visit the site in person.
As a whole, we were satisfied with the final delivery of the whole project. We found that the design, the material used and the customer services were very good. A perfect appraisal would be graded if the intended completion date could be met as scheduled.

We had a really informative and valuable discussion with Alexandra recently. Her knowledge of the area, property investment landscape and experience is excellent and we learnt a huge amount. We look forward to having the opportunity to work with Alexandra and her team going forward. I would highly recommend.

Alexandra and Richard were recommended to us by a friend. They completed a full house renovation on our detached house, that, when they began, had barely been updated since the 1970s. Now it is a modern, stylish house that we are incredibly proud of.

The communication from Alexandra and Richard throughout this huge project was fantastic. They continuously kept us in the loop, they went above and beyond and it was really clear that they cared about the quality of the work being produced by themselves and those that worked for them. They worked tirelessly to ensure we were happy with each stage and were quick to chase anything that was outstanding.

Despite us receiving challenging news that all of the internal walls would need to be rebuilt, we appreciated their full honesty and always felt like they were acting in our best interest.

Alexandra and Richard master-minded (designed and delivered) a major renovation to our house during 2021 - and we couldn't be more pleased with it.

The work involved both structural and cosmetic activities, and was completed with great care and good communication throughout.

I currently rent a property owned and renovated by Alexandra, Richard and Team. From a renovation point of view I can't highlight how brilliantly they've transformed an old terraced property into a modern, well designed and wonderful place to live.

From a tenant's point of view they are easily the best the landlords I've had. They're extremely responsive and have resolved any query I've had as well as making time to handle any of the requests I've had. It's a privilege to be renting such a sought after property with excellent landlords, that allow you to feel at home!

Our Bungalow has truly been transformed into a luxury modern home. Powel Construction has done such a wonderful job and the work has been to a high standard. A couple of minor snags were sorted out within 2 days of us moving in. Everyone who has since visited as remarked "wow" on entering our new home.

I have been working with Alexandra and Richard and investing in their portfolio of properties. Not only are they extremely skilled in their own right as an architect and a builder & heating systems technician respectively, but their professionalism when it comes to the financial and legal aspects of a deal is outstanding.
