I had a holiday booked for this year, but due to covid had requested to move to next year. This was done with ease and speed and I cannot thank Premier villa enough for taking the stress out of this for me and my family.

Despite being in a difficult position at the moment due to the ongoing health situation, the flexibility and understanding of this company has been second to none. I won't hesitate to book again in future and recommend to family and friends.
We were originally booked to go to a villa in Portugal June 2020 which wasn't able to go ahead due to coronavirus restrictions. Simon arranged for us to move the date of the villa to the following year so as not to lose our deposit, which we happily accepted. Not yet knowing work commitments and school holiday dates when we initially changed the holiday, we then discovered the same dates in 2021 would be unsuitable for some of the members of our party. Once again, Premier Villas helped move the date to April 2021 with no problems at all.
Then, due to coronavirus restrictions and subsequent changing work schedules, we were faced with asking for a third change of booking date since our initial booking (fully expecting to be told it wasn't possible). Simon could not have been more helpful and our booking has been changed to April 2022!

Although we were disappointed that we were unable to get a refund due to our inability to travel to the EU due to Covid-19, Katy was VERY helpful in getting our reservation moved to 2021 without a loss of our deposit. We are very appreciative of all the work Katy did for us.

As per similar reviews below, our flights were cancelled and the Government issued a directive that only non-essential travel to Portugal was permitted. We are aware that our inability to holiday falls outside the responsibility of Premier Villas. However, they have an obligation and duty to at least respond to our attempts to amicably resolve this.
We booked a family villa to the tune of thousands of pounds. Not only have we lost our deposit, but PV have failed to respond to any emails regarding our attempt to move forward with/in this situation.
I called to speak directly to the director and was calculatedly misadvised.
I advised that, as a family, we are keen to travel next summer and holiday specifically in this villa, which would be a suitable and agreeable resolution for both Premier Villas and the owner. Not unreasonable given that their website clearly advertises that Premier Villas are doing âall [they] can find an agreeable solution by contacting the property ownerâ.
The companyâs director advised me of the following: 1) pay the full cost of the villa on a credit card, in order to be easily reimbursed by the credit card company. This is clearly not the case and would have cost me thousands of pounds. 2) He would send a cancellation form so I could claim my deposit back with my insurance. Again, untrue. He is aware that there are multiple names on this booking. 3) Portugal is open. Clear further misadvice. Flights were cancelled and the Government have been very clear. Nobody books a family villa in the summer holidays for essential travel.
He/they advised me, over the phone, knowing that each decision would cost me and benefit him/them. Throughout the call, I felt belittled.
I reiterated that I merely wanted to carry the booking over to next year, as per the website position, and he advised that the villa may not be available next year. He then stated that the owner âhas not renewed the contractâ. However, the villa is advertised in the website for next summer...
My daughter has since followed up all of this on my behalf, in emails, to ensure we have full written records. However, no response. Only a review that has been reported. It is reassuring to know that the company exists because they are responding to reviews. Just not to emails.
It is simply not adequate to correspond in the way this company and its director have. Even in a pandemic. There are so many companies getting it right during this time and a simple acknowledgement/receipt of email would even have been enough.
Being patient is one thing, but calculated misadvice is unethical.
I have formally complained to the CMA. Hereâs to hoping that they can help.
(I accept that this will likely be the second review that is reported, all whilst Premier Villas refuse to make contact and are dishonest about having done so. But I will continue to share the details of my experience.)
We have been booking our annual family holidays with Premier Villas for many years now, and definately would never consider an alternative company.
On every occasion, without exception, we have come to the conclusion that exellent service delivery is their motto!
The team based in Chichester, are so warm, accomodating and welcoming, nothiong seems to be too much trouble, and each of them go that extra mile to ensure your choice of holiday destination and accomodation is tailored to suit all your needs, and it gives me so much pleasure to say that after all these years, they have never failed to meet our expectations. Each member of staff we have dealt with are in turn excellent "hands on" ambassadors for this charming company.
I have lost count the number of times I have recommended this company to firends and business associates, and will continue to do so, based on our experience to date.
Having just returned from our 3 week holiday in The Algarve, we have already booked again for next year, and I am positive we will have a wonderful experience staying at a new location in the Algarve which was part of a number of villas chosen for us by a member of the Premier Villas team.

We had a villa booked for this September in Portugal but due to Covid 19 outbreak, our familiesâ tickets from different countries got cancelled, so I contacted Premier Villas if we could resolve our situation. They have been extremely helpful and understanding to our situation and they were able to move our booking to next year.
It did take time for them reply my emails, which is completely understandable! During this time I think we all should be patient and understand that they have so many bookings to deal with and they are doing their best for every customer. So people who say they didnât get back to them, probably didnât care enough for their own booking. You just have to be patient. Not to mention that they have to communicate not only with the customer but also the villa owners, and it is not only their decision, what will happen to your booking. So they are really doing the best they can.

Do not give this company any of your hard earned money ever - holiday in Portugal obviously cancelled (August 2020). No communication from them whatsoever after sending them various emails regarding our deposit. Wouldn't let us move the holiday to next August 2021. Absolutley disgusting way to deal with customers. Anyone that books with them - you have been warned.

I don't know why Premier Villas are reporting my comment to Trustpilot when everything I said is true which I'm sure is the case with all the other negative comments that they have reported. Maybe if they had dealt with customers with a bit more professionalism there would be no negative comments.
Sadly unlike other reviews on here I did not have a good experience. Our flights were cancelled so we were not able to go, granted this was not the villa companyâs fault.
However going back & forth with them with me chasing and lots of excuses about them working from home.
I was advised I could take a credit note, for the villa deposit we had paid, but they would need to contact the villa owner to agree this. We waited over 2 weeks & with me calling them yet again, only to be advised they couldnât get hold of the villa owner so they didnât know if he would be operating in 2021.
But I could claim my deposit back either with my Insurance company or credit card company if I put in writing I wanted to cancel the villa & they would issue a cancellation letter.
At this point after all the chasing it seemed the sensible option to take.
What I was not advised on was that Insurance companies donât tend to pay out if you had the chance to take a credit note.
Upon going back to the villa company & explaining this, they could only repeat âyou sent the email cancelling the booking and weâve issued the cancellation letter & contracts for 2021 rentals are not in placeâ (contracts had not been mentioned before)
Yes I did send the email cancelling based on our sensible discussions in April & the fact you couldnât get hold of the villa owner!!
I understands rules & regulations but given these are unprecedented times I would of liked to have seen a good will gesture in offering a credit note even if it was for half the amount, which also would of meant the villa company having our business next year.
Maybe I should of doubled checked with the insurance company first, either way not a good experience and several hundred pounds out of pocket.
