I had a really great experience with Prepory. My family and I had no idea what to expect for the college process and were scramming at the end of my junior year to find someone to help us through it. Prepory offered a spot in the class of 2026 cohort even though I was late and my counselor, Guardiana Thelomar, did an incredible job of catching me up with filling out my common app and finishing my personal statement all well before many other seniors I know. When it came to supplementals, Ms. Guerdi gave me really great and useful advice for the essays themselves, as well as how to structure my narrative using the additional information section and other aspects of my application. The writing team also did a fantastic job in editing and giving me suggestions for my essays. I felt really good about everything I submitted and they did a great job of making me feel supported and making sure that my writing was top tier. I also received really great assistance in preparation for interviews. Finally, I'd like to mention the support I received in writing letters of continued interest and other post application updates. This was an aspect of the application process that I was not particularly familiar with and Prepory had a great guide on how to write it. Ms. Guerdi and the writing team made sure the letters I sent were all to the same level of writing I wrote my supplementals in. The Prepory team did an incredible job and I managed to receive offers from several top universities (Carnegie Mellon, University of Michigan, Northeastern, etc.) as well as over $500,000 in scholarships. I had a great experience and I highly recommend going with Prepory to help get ready for college!

We had an excellent experience with Prepory supporting our son, Firas, through the university admissions process. From the very beginning, the team was professional, organized, and genuinely invested in his success.

What stood out most was the personalized guidance—his coach took the time to understand his strengths, interests, and goals, and helped him present his best self in every part of the application. The process can be overwhelming, but Prepory made it structured and manageable while still encouraging independence and growth.

Prepory is very structured and well organized when they are working with the student. The quality of their councillors is excellent. They focus very much on what is needed for the admissions process. They guide and help as well in defining your choices and work towards achieving some them.

Christina Irmen was an incredible support throughout my entire college admissions journey. Thanks to her guidance, I got into the school I truly wanted, and I couldn’t be more grateful. She is not only extremely knowledgeable but also genuinely determined to help her students succeed. You can clearly see how much she cares. I especially appreciated the strong connection we built. I felt overwhelmed at the start of my college application process, not knowing where I should even start. However, I was able to find my footing with the instruction of my coach, Imani Ifedi.

Imani was patient with me throughout the process and made the experience feel less daunting and more fulfilling. She would provide me with clear-cut, helpful answers on questions I had about the process as well as specific notes on areas of my application that I could work to improve. I found Imani’s positive outlook to be contagious as I started to get excited about the process and saw the numerous supplemental writings as opportunities to explore different parts of myself. I started to view all the essays I was writing beyond the context of obligation and more so as a means of reliving the highlights of my high school career alongside finding myself. It made me want to continue exploring the different prompts being thrown my way to the best of my ability, keeping me motivated in spite of my previous outlook regarding the process. I feel that I got a lot more done working with Imani than I would have had I tackled it all solo. It was comforting to know that I had someone with the knowledge and experience to guide me through it all. Working with Prepory also kept me accountable since I had someone in my corner actively cheering me on to put my best foot forward. I was able to submit my applications with the comfort of knowing that I had accurately represented myself.

I’m incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to work with my coach. I’d highly recommend Prepory to other students, especially to those who feel as lost as I did at first.

I cannot stress enough what an amazing organization Prepory is.
Because of them, I can go to the university I want and continue to strive for the future I’ve been dreaming of for almost my whole life.
Not to mention every coach is so unique and impossible to dislike.

I had an amazing experience with Glen Water and Liv rocklin. Absolutely amazing coaches with endless knowledge, always supportive and ready to help. I went through a lot of hardships throughout my senior year and they were always there to support me throughout the application process. I would have never made it where I am today without their help. Thank you to them!

My son's coach, Imani, worked diligently to help my son prepare college applications during 2025-2026 season. She was always available to answer questions, provide feedback, and finetune details. My son has received multiple acceptances from top 20 universities including Ivy League Schools.

Working with Imani Infanti, my daughter's coach, was truly an exceptional experience for our family. She struck the perfect balance between patience and honesty—always supportive, yet direct when it mattered most. That combination made a huge difference in helping our daughter stay grounded and focused throughout what can be a very overwhelming process.

What stood out most was her ability to meet our daughter where she was. When she needed to step back and take a break, our coach didn’t push—she recognized it, respected it, and gently pivoted to keep things comfortable and manageable. Then, when our daughter was ready to re-engage, she picked right back up without missing a beat. She never made her feel behind, even when she was, and that grace and encouragement meant everything to us.

She also expanded our daughter’s perspective in ways we couldn’t have done on our own, introducing her to schools she wouldn’t have otherwise considered. One of those schools is now where she will be attending—a perfect fit.

Perhaps the most valuable lesson she instilled was that finding the right fit matters far more than chasing prestige. That mindset shift changed everything for our daughter and gave her confidence in her decision.

Prepory, and especially Sam, has been an incredible help throughout my college application process. Before I started working with them, I had no understanding of how college admissions worked or how to even begin building an application. Thanks to his guidance and support, I am incredibly excited to be heading to the University of Michigan this fall. Prepory was an amazing experience for me and definitely made my college application journey less stressful.
My advisor, Kyla Peterson, helped me navigate the Common App and identify schools that aligned with my major (Dance/Public Relations). We worked on many versions of my college essay and supplemental essays. Even though Kyla had other students she worked with, I always felt like a priority. I received timely feedback and regular check-ins. Kyla provided resources for scholarships and information about my major, especially dance auditions. Today, we still keep in touch, even without weekly Zoom meetings, so that Kyla can help me whenever I have questions.
I had a phenomenal experience with Kyla and Prepory; I would definitely recommend them to incoming seniors.

My coach was extremely personable and gave really insightful feedback that I hadn't thought about when I was first drafting all of my college essays. The whole process made MY process, in turn, so much more streamlined and stress-free such that the essays and review process actually became a fun activity for me. Who'dve thunk it? Genuinely could not recommend Prepory more highly to fellow college admission pursuers.

Over the past year and a half, I have worked with De'Ja Wood, a Prepory Coach who not only helped to set my mind at ease when it came to the oftentimes daunting college application process but also provided me access to a community of individuals who worked tirelessly to create the best profile possible for me. It has been an immense pleasure working with someone who understands the college application process inside and out and was dedicated to helping revise (and revise and revise!) my application through Personal Statement drafts, essay revisions, Committee Review feedback walkthroughs, and so much more. I really couldn’t be more proud of the work we’ve accomplished, and I’m grateful for the doors the Prepory Program has opened for me as I set out on my college journey. It's so easy to get lost in the hustle and bustle of high school and to not give your college application the time and care it requires to stand out but, through my hourly meetings each week, De'Ja taught me foundational skills on how to stand out to prestigious institutions, such as reflective writing tactics, methods for crafting a unique voice, and ways to peel back the layers of who I am as an individual to always ensure I'm bringing my most authentic self to my college application. College writing is tricky (because it's not how we normally write!), but with my aspirations to one day become a neuroscientist, these habits will become invaluable for job applications, resumes, interviews, and even for the day (not too far in the future) when I sit down and pull together resources for my medical school application. Overall, Prepory gave me the courage to feel confident when applying to institutions like Princeton and Duke University, setting me up for boundless success in my future academic and personal life.
