Having never been to a Pawn broker…
Having never been to a Pawn broker before I didn’t know what to expect. The whole process was easy and straightforward and the different steps were clearly explained to me. The whole process was very professional and the price I was offered was very competitive in comparison to other jewellers in the area. The payment arrived within hours of completing the transaction, would thoroughly recommend.

They are professional, frank and upfront - about what they can and can’t do or offer. One must also understand, that it is a business that needs to make some margin. Justin @ Richmond branch was very helpful & accommodating. He got an old stone out of my grandfather’s ring from 60s in original condition. Then gave a competitive offer for the gold that I accepted and got paid swiftly. Highly recommended.

I had a gents gold and diamond ring to…
I had a gents gold and diamond ring to sell on behalf of my brother in law and after speaking to some other buyers I settled on Posh Pawn , I was put through to Sharna at the Loughton store and it couldn’t have gone any better , Sharna was prompt professional and very fair with the offer we received ! We posted the item to the Loughton store on the Monday and the money was in my brother in laws account by end of business the next day !

Very disappointed
Very disappointed, I arrived with my late mother’s collection of handbags purses and gloves.
Vintage Versace, Pucci, Kurt Geiger. Most unused, some with original receipts.
Only to be told, there’s no market for vintage!
I was offered £50 for a Versace bag, and £20 for another!
I didn’t bother to show the rest of the collection. I’ll sell the collection individually on eBay. Again very disappointed,

When the client visited with a collection of handbags, individual pieces were assessed one at a time at their request. For each item, offers were determined using current second-hand sold market data, and in one instance this was cross-checked with a specialist buyer to ensure accuracy. While some vintage designer pieces can achieve strong prices, others—particularly certain models and brands—currently have limited resale demand.
The figures discussed were offers to purchase based on what we could reasonably expect to achieve in the secondary market, rather than a reflection of original purchase price or sentiment. There was no obligation to proceed, and we respect the client’s decision to explore alternative selling routes.
We appreciate the opportunity to clarify our process and thank you for sharing your feedback.

Never used a service like this before but a friend recommended this shop so I collected my broken jewellery and odd earrings that have sat around gathering dust and I was amazed at the price I was offered. Vilma, who looked after me, was amazing explained everything thoroughly, there was no pressure, very highly recommend!!

No Time for Real Focus
After an email interaction with Marta, we travelled to London with the diamond we referred to. We were made to feel unwelcome and very quickly dismissed. No proper checks were done and we were told to keep the rings as 'costume jewellery'. The items were certified earth mined diamonds with a vvs1 grading. Maybe if you are busy, you shouldn't allow people to walk in. Really suprised and very disappointed.

When the items were brought into store, they were tested using professional diamond-testing equipment at the counter, in line with our standard procedure for stones of this nature. Unfortunately, the stone did not test as a natural diamond. This was communicated sensitively at the time, and we appreciate how disappointing this outcome can be.
We always carry out appropriate checks before progressing further, and where results indicate that an item is not as expected, we are unable to proceed beyond this initial stage. Our team strives to be respectful and considerate throughout, and we regret if this was not how the experience was perceived.
