By way of a local Facebook post on my hometown community page, I was mislead to believe the person claiming to be "Stephanie Rogers" was a native to my home town and had recently graduated from my favorite state college. "Stephanie" claimed to be starting her independent business fixing up existing and creating new web pages for local small businesses and was asking for new clients. Several days later, her post was removed from the community page and her profile was deleted from Facebook.

Prior to going MIA on Facebook, "Stephanie" responded to my inquiry via FB Messenger and told me that her "business partner" who went by the name "Austin" was unable to reach me on my phone and to call him at (619) 478-4161, a San Diego phone number which was disconnected two days later. During my interaction with "Austin," I could tell that English was not his primary language so asked him if he was also located in my town. He responded with a hesitant yes, but would not provide any details other than a vague description of an area which was easily found on Google Maps. Still not positive this was some sort of scam, "Austin" read through his script and ultimately asked for payment up-front before any work would be done. I hesitated for a moment, but went against my suspicions and better judgement by giving him my credit card number and business address over the phone.

A short while later, the $399 charge appeared on my bank statement as going to Tariq Ahmed; (321) 961-4544 in Kissimmee, Florida. Despite Austin's scripted detail about being the actual web designer, he told me that yet another person by the name of "Kate Samuels" would be in touch with me to go over more website details. Two days later "Kate" sent me an email stating that she was also unable to reach me at my business phone (likely because the phone detects spam calls) and asked me to call her at (605) 562-6151, a South Dakota phone number. It was at this moment, I knew I found out the hard way.

I had an awful experience with this company. The "designer" assigned to my project was utterly incompetent and could barely speak or spell english. The initial quote I received was just bait and switch and very quickly turned into continuous upselling. The initial quote was for $650 for site creation including "Donation integration (secure payment setup)", and $350 for a year of hosting. After several months of continuous editing of repeated mistakes on a simple five page site, I was informed that they needed an additional $1600 to make my site secure. When I asked for a refund of the $350 hosting fee, I was told that no refund would be forthcoming and that the $350 was already spent on site design. When I complained, I received a string of nonsensical text messages, and even after indicating that I wanted no more contact with this "company" I got a phone call from them at 9 pm at night. The site design turned out to be a simple Word Press tool site. It was so ridden with mistakes that it was unusable even after hours spent trying to get the mistakes corrected. When it became evident that Prime Website Design could not acceptably fulfill its contract with us, we built a better, more cost effective site on our own over a weekend, having never done it previously, than the useless mess that this company produced over the wasted several months I spent trying patiently to work with them.

This company is a scam they charged my bank Account, back in March 2025 for Reeds publishing and I've been requesting a refund for over 2 months., They refuse to return my money.I have bank statements to prove this.

Very disappointed with the work. As someone else said, I came across them in a Facebook group where they said they were local. They were not local. This must be a tactic to source customers.

Anyway, I was told the work I wanted would take a few hours and it took 6 weeks. My "Project Manager", who was on the west coast, would respond to my emails at 6pm PDT. So if I replied, she would not see until the morning and then replied again at 6pm PDT. She also continually text messaged me even though I told her I preferred email communication. She claimed she did not receive my emails. I have never had anyone else with this issue receiving me emails.

Another thing is they wanted me to give their general email address Admin rights to my site, not a specific person. So basically anyone there had Admin rights to my site.

The work they did looked like that of an inexperienced web developer. I expected more CSS customizations which is why I hired them. Instead they essentially used the out of box template. There was ZERO creativity. I had to tell them every little thing to do. And most of the time had to change what they did.

I finally got fed up when I asked for customized social media sharing buttons for my blog. They did this but only for the existing articles. If I were to post new articles, the sharing buttons were not there. This is website development 101. Did they not understand the concept of a blog?

My logo was ok. Their rates are low which is why I am giving 2 stars instead of 1. But then I guess you get what you pay for.

I had spoken to multiple web designers and design companies to build a site for my new business. I was starting with little capital but needed an online presence more than just social media. I came across Prime in a Facebook post and sent a message. Creating a site from nothing and with low budget made for a challenging and bumpy ride. Unfortunately for Shawn, I had already dealt with some sleezy “web designers” before Prime so I was skeptical and afraid of being taken advantage of because web design is not my thing. Shawn was a trooper. He put up with tons of indecisiveness, impatience, me being cranky and rude (not proud of it but this is about how Shawn rose to the occasion and was determined to create a site that we were all proud of. Out of the dust and destruction he pulled off a beautiful, clean and functional design that I am proud of. There aren’t enough apologies to give Shawn for what he went through but I hope he is proud of what he designed and accomplished. He is talented and knows his stuff and can execute it. I sincerely appreciate your refusal to quit and stick it out, Shawn! And I truly appreciate Andrew shepherding the project and making himself available as a mediator and voice of reason when necessary. Give them a chance! They know how to create quality, eye-catching sites that will draw traffic to your business.

This company is super dodgy. They have hundreds of Facebook accounts that go around to local Facebook groups with each one pretending that they are a "local designer from X area that is in a pinch and needs some work" trying to bait people into doing work with them, I'd avoid this company at all costs.

Samantha was so helpful! I asked her to create a business card based off of my current logo and she did an excellent job- it was everything I wanted! She is attentive to the details, pleasant and responds quickly. 10/10 recommend working with her!

Our logo needed to be revamped and we were happy we found Prime Website Design. We worked with Evelyn, who was very professional and a pleasure. I shared our previous logos and some information on our charity. She designed 3 logos as a start and it wasn't long before we had the final design. I would highly recommend them and if the need arises we will work with them again.

This company will nickel and dime you in the long run for every little thing. Many other options out there that are available and gives more value for your money. Don't let them host your domain, they will charge you a grip to transfer it once you decide not to work with them anymore. I would get random text messages to upgrade or add on services. It has been a nightmare and a huge waste of time I could have been concentrating on the functions of my business.

Working with Samantha was awesome I told her what I was looking for she gave me great ideas and put a lot of thought into it, her work is amazing it was so hard to decide which one of the logos I like more because her work is so beautiful she worked so hard with me because I was deciding to maybe change this or that, giving me couple of options for me to finally decide which one I want to go for I love her work, she's very talented.

We hired Prime Website to revamp our logo and couldn't be more pleased with the outcome! Maria was so creative and intuitive and invited us in for the whole process. We were provided with every format we could possibly need. We highly recommend!

Excellent design company. Communication was always prompt. The turnaround process from to start to finish was quick. They created my logo, which was better than I imagined. I highly recommend. I couldn’t be happier with my new logo.
