Extremely Affordable Canvas-like LMS

I ran across this LMS in its early development stages. You don't hear a lot about it (YET) because it's so new, but that won't be the case for long. The developer is extremely responsive and committed to making a full LMS available to individual teachers without charging institutional prices. Best of all, he's a teacher himself, so understands individual teacher needs, even if you're only teaching a few students.

ProfDesk takes your Canvas downloaded courses seamlessly. I'm in the process of setting up my own science classes and have found very little tweaking required to move from Canvas to ProfDesk. It's got all the bells and whistles as the larger LMS programs, without the "per student" pricing. That's what prices out all the individual teachers like me who can't afford the large, established LMS programs. If you are just starting out or are a veteran independent teacher looking for a Canvas alternative, I highly recommend ProfDesk.
