I want to start by saying that the kindness and professionalism of the staff were genuinely appreciated. From the moment I entered, I was welcomed by a lovely receptionist, and the translator was also very professional and helpful throughout the process. Everyone I interacted with was kind and respectful, which made the overall environment comfortable.
However, considering the consultation fee I paid, I honestly feel that I could have gotten more out of my experience.I am someone who gets quite nervous when visiting doctors. I think part of this comes from being used to having my parents accompany me to medical appointments when I was younger and helping me communicate my concerns. Because of that, I sometimes struggle to explain everything I want to ask during a consultation, especially when I am nervous.I did mention several of my concerns regarding my eyes, and the doctor did ask questions about my lifestyle and work, which I appreciated. In particular, I felt that the questions about my work helped him determine an appropriate glasses prescription for me. I was also given an eye-drop prescription and an eyeglasses prescription.
However, I left the consultation feeling that my main concern had not really been addressed in enough depth.
The primary reason I wanted to see an eye specialist was the unusual colour of my eyes and my concerns about what it could mean for my overall eye health. I was hoping to better understand what the doctor observed, whether there was anything concerning about the colour, whether any further tests or investigations would be appropriate, and what I could realistically do to take better care of my eyes.
I would have really appreciated more education and guidance regarding eye health and lifestyle not only answers to the questions I was able to think of and ask myself, but also the doctor's professional assessment of what he was seeing and what he would recommend.
For example, I left wondering whether there were any lifestyle changes I should consider, whether there were specific things I should avoid, whether I should have additional tests done, or whether the colour of my eyes was something that required further medical investigation. These were questions I had hoped the consultation would help clarify.
I understand that a doctor cannot necesarily provide an immediate solution to every concern,my concern is simply that I would have appreciated a more thorough explanation and a clearer understanding of what was going on and what, if anything, I should do next.

Overall, I am grateful for the kindness and professionalism of the staff, and I appreciated the doctor's attention to my glasses prescription and work environment. At the same time, given the cost of the consultation, I expected a more comprehensive discussion of my primary concern and more guidance about my eye health.I believe a consultation is most valuable when a patient leaves not only with prescriptions, but also with a clear understanding of what the doctor found, what it means, and what the appropriate next steps are.

I would like to sincerely thank Prof. Dr. Ahmet SATICI for the outstanding care I received.

He performed my pre-operative examination, my laser eye surgery on 28/07/2026, and my post-operative check-up. From the moment I met him, I felt I was in safe hands. He is not only an exceptional surgeon but also a genuinely kind, calm, respectful, and caring person.

Before the surgery, he explained everything clearly and made me feel much more confident despite how nervous I was. His professionalism and experience gave me complete trust throughout the entire process.

I had PRK laser surgery done by Prof. Dr. Ahmet Satıcı.

The surgery went fast and smooth. The doctor was very professional. After the surgery he explained what I should do and shouldn't do on my recovery.

While recovering I had an accident with my eye and I was able to get a response from him very quickly. He was so helpful and I am really glad with the results.

He also did a very through check up on my eyes after the surgery and after the accident which I am very grateful of.

I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Ahmet to anyone considering eyelid surgery.
A few years ago, he performed my upper eyelid blepharoplasty, and I am still extremely happy with the results. Everything went perfectly—from the surgery itself to the recovery. Most importantly, the outcome looks natural, beautiful, and exactly as I had hoped.
Later, Dr. Ahmet also performed both upper and lower eyelid surgery on my mother. She was equally pleased with the results. Thanks to his professionalism, attention to detail, and exceptional surgical skills, we both achieved the results we had wished for.

The doctor and the staff were very helpful and professional.

I came from Finland for surgery, since it would have been 1/5 of the price of what I would have to pay in my home country, so having surgery in Istanbul felt like a good solution. I did some research and found the doctor through a lot of good reviews online and decided he would be the best choice. I visited the doctor for a pre-evaluation and he did a thorough examination and took the time to do all the proper tests to see if I needed the surgery or not. Turns out I had been misdiagnosed and there was no need for the surgery after all!! Though I did not need surgery, I can still 100% recommend the doctor since he could have very easily said oh yeah sure let's proceed with the surgery, and just take my money. Overall the doctor was very professional and had a lot of expertise and accumulated knowledge and I felt I could trust his opinion. I had a very good experience overall with contacting the doctor and booking the appointment etc. The doctor’s assistant was amazing, spoke very good English, and provided me with clear and informed details, and the communication process with super good. Very thankful for their efforts.
