I had been struggling to find something unique, yet meaningful for my Goddaughter given the sudden passing of her Grandpa, whom she was extremely close to. He passed just before Christmas 2025.
It has been challenging for everyone to move forward, even for myself, as my brother was such a huge influence to all of us. But, it's been the hardest for my Goddaughter.
He shared her love of butterflies, which was amusing to observe such a macho Hispanic get all giggled with her everytime they saw a butterfly.
When I saw the butterfly Remembrance Ring, I instantly knew it was perfect.
My only negative feedback, is I ordered it, then weeks and weeks went by with no word. I actually believed, momentarily, that I had been scammed. LOL. After reaching out in wonder, the response reminded me that each gift is hand, custom made by skilled artists, therefore more time was needed and as soon as it was ready, shipping notifications would be sent out directly.
While I wasn't expecting it overnight, the extra time noted on the website each piece requires can maybe be repeated and perhaps half way toward delivery a quick "Hello! Just a heads up, our artists are working on your order and is almost ready, look out for shipping notifications within a week or so!...." or something similar? Just a thought.
While the wait was unexpected, to state it was worth it, does not give it justice.
I left her gift bag hanging on her bedroom door. No note, just the gift bag. She gets home late from her work. I was already asleep, but was awakened by her sobbing. Her grief, Joy and gratitude all poured out at once.
No words as I entered her room, just a long hug as she sobbed.
Getting better composure after a while, she re-read the accomanying and beautiful note from the artist/company, to herself, while admiring her ring. It looked stunning and was obviously of high quality.
Her only words, "I'm never taking it off, Tio."
And she hasn't. Just yesterday, she commented she's gotten to the point where she touches it or plays with it when she starts missing her grandpa hard and quickly feels better.
So thank you for producing such a thoughtful and meaningful gift for her. It's truly helping with her healing of her loss.
