The team arrived when they said they would, they worked efficiently and were friendly, the window frames and door frame were painted and look great, there was no mess or rubbish left behind I would definitely use again and recommend them.

I spoke to Property Transformer to respray my kitchen units, and the experience has been incredibly disappointing from start to finish.

They arrived just before midday and left promptly after 5pm, asking for full payment despite me pointing out several issues. They promised these would be rectified at a later date, but that never happened.

After arriving and before starting, they mentioned there could be a problem with the respray since the cabinets had previously been painted. They did a test panel, and we agreed to continue since it had no reaction with the previous paint. However, at no point before quoting did they ask if the cabinets had been painted before, which would have been an important question to avoid this situation.

The quality of the work itself was poor. I was left with paint splatters on the ceiling from when they opened the can (I was told this couldn’t have been them, even though the paint matched that of the cabinets, and the kitchen had been painted only a few weeks before), overspray across other areas of the kitchen, bubbled paint, cabinet doors that were not re-hung properly, loose hinges, and handles that weren’t fitted back correctly. Some extra panels were left off and I was told I should use ‘no more nails’ solvent and refit them myself! I was told to leave the doors open to let the paint dry, but after this the doors wouldn’t close properly meaning I had to refit them as well. All of this could have been avoided if they didn’t arrive so late and try to leave as soon as possible.

To make matters worse, after scheduling multiple times for them to come back and fix the problems, they failed to show up on at least six or seven occasions. This was extremely frustrating as I had to reschedule days of work, empty all the units to prepare for their arrival just for them to message the same day and cancel. Eventually, they stopped communicating altogether.

In my experience, once they had their payment, they had no interest in putting things right. The workmanship was shoddy, and the customer service non-existent. I would strongly advise others to avoid this company.

*I want to clarify a few points in response to the company’s reply

Firstly, Trustpilot only required my full name, phone number, and a reference number to verify my review – all of which I provided. An address was never requested. I’m happy to provide if requested!

Secondly, this work was carried out by Property Transformer in November 2024. I have evidence of direct communication with the company, along with a copy of the invoice containing their business details.

The company claims they “don’t work on hand-painted kitchens,” yet this was specifically discussed on the day before the job began. As mentioned, a test panel was carried out, and we agreed to proceed – something that would not have happened if they truly refused this type of work.

Additionally, they state that they’ve asked Trustpilot to remove my review. To be clear: they also firstly asked for their name to be removed from the review, which I complied with, but his name continues to appear on other positive reviews that the company is seemingly happy to keep. This inconsistency speaks volumes.

My review reflects my genuine experience. Instead of denying responsibility, I would encourage the company to acknowledge the issues and improve the service they provide.

Mark and the team have recently done our front door and garage doors and we are very impressed with the outcome. Very professional and excellent customer service, quick to respond to our enquiries and thankfully clean and tidy which was one of my concerns. Would highly recommend and use again.

Brilliant job I’m so pleased I don’t normally leave reviews but so happy they need praise very pleasant people thank you mark tom and harry great job and trustworthy people and cleaned up after them nothing was a problem certainly recommend them to everyone. Very competitive on price as has some crazy quotes and the thing I liked was didn’t want any money upfront as heard of some scammers taking money and disappearing

Couldn’t be happier with the friendly service, Mark have advice & even fixed a couple of additional niggles I had with my doors. Can’t recommend enough, definitely speak to these guys before going out spending thousands on a new kitchen.

Had my kitchen sprayed and what a transformation it has been.
Choose 3 colours initially but followed Marks guidance and advise and left tiles original colour.
They worked to a high standard and did a brilliant job.
