I have heard from a lot of abandoned Purelight Power customer after they declared bankruptcy. They are looking for service for their system now that Purelight Power is out of business. The only company I can find that is willing to service these systems is Green Ridge Solar our of the Portland area. They have their own, in-house service team and can help with all of your solar service needs. They also offer repairs, panel add-ons, battery backup systems and more. Call them if you need any help with your system now that Purelight Power is no longer in business.

well between lengthy install time, open ditches for 2 months, damaged pond equipment, leaky roof and last but not least they are leaving washington state and will not honor warranty. other than that it was a terrible experience and i should have did my homework. Trenches finally got poorly back filled, the set up a time and day for orientation of the system and blew that off. I left voice-mail and email with zero response.

After a difficult and poorly managed install with Purelight Power, we found that we had a solar panel that was not working properly. The system did not make it a year without a failure. Purelight Power said they were unable to fix the panel because they did not have any employees to work in Washington State. After contacting us early this month to let us know that the repair appointment we waited more than 8 months for was cancelled because an employee quit, we received a phone call this week stating that Purelight Power was no longer doing business in Washington State. When asked about getting the failed solar panel fixed, we were told to contact a local solar panel company for repair. So much for paying for a solar panel system with a 10-year warranty since they didn't ever fix the problem under warranty. Do not do business with Purelight Power unless you are prepared to be abandoned and ignored. Purelight Power is facing multiple large fines from the Department of Labor & Industries for worker safety violations.

Quick and very professional. Installers cleaned up any debris left over and office was very good communication during the steps to completion.

Jack McCoy was amazing! His explanation of everything was flawless! 1 1/2 years later I put an addition on my house and dealing with the removal was great the re installation process had a few hiccups but Kristie in customer service did right by me even after miscommunication. 5 stars day one and still 5 stars. I have friends who went elsewhere and regret it when I tell them about my experience with PLP

After reading through the past reviews for this company, unfortunately we will share our experience which does not mirror the other customers comments. Although our overall experience was very poor, this does not reflect all departments/individuals we dealt with through our solar installation process.
Upon initial contact with a Purelight Light Power (PLP) salesman we found that the representative was not as knowledgeable on the installation process to include pricing. Once our final contract was signed we were forwarded to a team including Anthony Madrigal, Permit Coordinator, and Ashley Heimann, Scheduler. Both were slow to respond on any correspondence, we waited with no communications from this team so we contacted them and that would prompt the next step to occur in our project.
The solar panel installation team was quick and responsive. The trenching team did a good job in trenching, however, in the backfill side while not supervised was poor as we are still experiencing sink holes throughout our property.
The electrical team was the most knowledgeable team dealt with and professional. Our project was extended out due to poor coordination with our local electrical company and Purelight Power. This was not the Purelight Power electrical teams problem but instead the schedulers issue.
Once the installation was completed and our local electrical company gave us Permission to Operate (PTO) our scheduler, Ashley Heimann and Permit Coordinator, Anthony Madrigal were not on the same page and delayed our “going on line.”
After several calls to the customer service line, we finally had permission to connect our solar to the electrical grid and were still waiting for our final virtual meeting to install application on production on our phones and familiarize us with the app.
After several calls to Cody at customer service, we were finally able to be connected with Gar who walked us through the online app and how to interpret the information available.
Kudos or 5 star to Micheal who came out to our place for initial measurements from Spokane, Ivan and his team, Cody, and Gar. For the others we would rate 2 Star; hence the reason for the 2 star overall experience.

Kaleb arrived on time for our appointment and was kind and respectful. He spent 45 minutes with me running the numbers. In the end, he told me that I would only save $193.79/year. I expected him to try and sell me on solar, but to my surprise, he admitted that because they are limited in where they can put the solar panels on my home, it just didn’t make sense for me. I have never experienced such honesty and integrity in a business! If you’re considering solar, I highly recommend this company.

Overall it was a good experience

Sarah Tuhl from Purelight did a great job explaining how solar works and how it would be beneficial to us financially. The Purelight team was easy to work with and our solar panels were up and running sooner than expected! ☀️

Jack McCoy made the solar process very understandable and helped make a good decision to move forward. Installation to go live was extremely easy and fast. Jonathan Tilson completed the final instruction piece making it all seem very easy to maintain. Great start to this solar journey

Johnathan was very informative and helpful. He answered all of our questions.

We were very impressed with the professionalism of our sales rep Brandon Madden. He is very knowledgeable of the product and how things work and explaining the whole process.
As far as dealing with the rest of the company, we experienced the same professionalism from start to finish.
The installers were very efficient at their jobs and left a very clean looking rooftop and clean area when they left.
