SCAMMERS - DO NOT SPEND MONEY HERE

I placed an order in March on the 19th. I have followed up via phone calls and emails to this company with little to no response. The items I purchased have yet to arrive, and I would like a full refund. From what I have been told at this time, they will not refund the monies until the item has been received.

I wake up bright as a button after taking Glycine!

I began taking Glycine daily on the recommendation of my functional Medicine doctor, Dr Chris Chappel from Evergreen Doctors and experienced the best sleep I can remember. Then it happened night after night. So I told my friends and they wanted some of what I had... so I bought Pure Glycine Powder 1kg and got 2kgs for the price of one. That was just over a month ago and now I need more. One friend, used it and then gave it to his wife and mother. It has been transformative for them. Another friend had it and when I was walking past her house one day, she came running out of her house in her pjs bragging how well she has been sleeping after only 1 week of taking it. And we are all waking up bright as buttons. Do yourself a favour, get yourself onto glycine, and Purewellness has great bulk prices. (This is not medical advice and it is your responsibility to check with your health professionals to make sure taking any supplement is the right thing for you)

Happy with the products and customer service

I've ordered a few products from Purewellness. The shipping is pretty fast. Packaging is careful. Price of my items are lower and reasonable compared with other companies. Their website provides all information you need to know about the product you want. Customer service is also very good. For the product quality, I don't know how much pure of the products but I trust this company. I am happy with my purchases.

Terrific customer service

I have ordered products from pure wellness before and knew them to be a reputable company. My last order was for lemon powder but unfortunately it was mislabeled. The company didn’t hesitate to arrange a refund promptly. I wouldn’t hesitate either in using them again for my future purchases.

Decent pricing but the website could use a little bit more ease on navigation... The confirm order button the slap all over the place made me order extra items I did not want... I have reached out to customer service, they asked for a screenshot of my order and clarification on what I didn't want and I have yet to hear anything back, no confirmation of shipping my products yet, just nothing

Creatine Smells like Fish

I ordered a kilo of creatine and it arrived at my house and it smells intensely like fish. I've emailed them multiple times and I called their customer service, no one replies. It's been 8 days and I've not had one response. No thanks for your email, no apology, nothing.
I assume this review will inspire a reply, but it's disappointing customer service to create this kind of experience for a customer in order to solve a problem that is clearly a product fault.

Regarding the smell, our creatine is a natural product and does not contain artificial fragrances or masking agents. Because of this, there can sometimes be a natural aroma present. That said, it should not be overwhelmingly unpleasant, and we completely understand your concern.

These guys/girls have a wide range of base as well as innovative products. Their ordering system is easy to follow and generally have a number of product size choices. They often have promotions, generally quantity based in my experience, which give good discounts. I've found pricing to be competitive and their products to be of high quality. Delivery times are efficient and on time. I'm happy to recommend this business to others.

I had a very disappointing experience


I had a very disappointing experience with Pure Wellness. We engaged them to develop pet supplements and encountered major issues from the start. The R&D team seemed inexperienced and untrained, often suggesting ingredients that made no sense for pet health, and we found ourselves constantly correcting basic errors.

When the second R&D person left, communication completely collapsed. Pure Wellness ignored multiple emails and calls over an extended period. We tried at least seven or eight times, and only received a reply after we warned that we would escalate the matter to the ACCC and leave a public review.

Their pricing was also a red flag. It was three to four times cheaper than every reputable manufacturer we spoke to, and after reading other customer reviews mentioning incorrect or questionable ingredients, the low pricing made more sense. On top of that, the founder, Jason, told us during one of our calls that he currently has active ACCC proceedings, which added to our concern about the legitimacy and reliability of the business.

Based on our experience, I would strongly advise anyone considering Pure Wellness to do thorough due diligence and be very cautious before engaging them.

We’re very concerned to read your review and feel it’s important to respond publicly to clarify a number of statements made.
We strongly reject the suggestion that our R&D team is inexperienced or untrained.

Our formulation process follows structured development protocols, ingredient safety assessments, and regulatory considerations. During product development, ingredient discussions can involve feasibility, compliance, stability, and cost factors — differences in technical opinion should not be interpreted as a lack of competence.

Regarding communication, there was a staff transition during that period which may have contributed to delays in response. While that is not an excuse, it is context — and it was certainly never our intention to ignore correspondence. We acknowledge that the experience may not have met expectations and regret any frustration caused.

In terms of pricing, our manufacturing efficiencies, supplier partnerships, and production scale allow us to remain competitive. Lower pricing does not equate to lower standards. We maintain quality control procedures and comply with relevant Australian regulations and manufacturing requirements.

We also categorically deny the claim that there are “active ACCC proceedings” against the business. This statement is incorrect. We operate in accordance with Australian Consumer Law and take compliance obligations very seriously.
We stand by the integrity of our company and the quality of our work. If there are specific outstanding matters you would like to resolve, we remain open to discussing them directly and professionally.

We believe transparency is important, which is why we are responding here publicly.

Misleading product info, unreachable team, and no refund after return

I ordered a product that was falsely advertised through Wholesale Health Food Distributors — no mention of the actual supplier (Purewellness), no confirmed country of origin, and no organic certification listed on the website I purchased from (Wholesale Health Food Distributors). After receiving several conflicting COAs, including one for a completely different species (Ulmus pumila instead of Ulmus rubra), I rejected the shipment unopened and returned it at my own expense.

They confirmed receipt of the returned item, yet no refund has been processed, and my follow-up emails have mostly gone ignored. You can’t speak to anyone — the phone line goes straight to voicemail, and there appears to be no real customer service team. They claim to operate in QLD, but the communication and inconsistencies suggest otherwise.

To make matters worse, they appear to be operating under multiple company names, which adds to the confusion. I've now had to escalate this to St George Bank and the Department of Fair Trading. Disappointing experience all around.

Wholesale Health Food Distributors (WHF) is our wholesale SBU (Strategic Business Unit) operating under Purewellness. It is not a separate or unrelated entity, nor are we operating under “multiple confusing company names.” WHF services wholesale and trade customers, while Purewellness services retail customers.

Regarding product documentation, COAs are supplied based on batch and supplier documentation. In some cases, multiple reference documents may be provided for transparency or comparison purposes.

However, we do not intentionally provide incorrect species documentation. If there was confusion around Ulmus pumila vs Ulmus rubra, this would have been addressed as a documentation clarification matter — not a product substitution.

We can confirm that your returned item was received. Refunds are processed in accordance with our returns policy and standard banking timeframes. If there has been any delay beyond the normal processing period, that is an administrative matter — not a refusal to refund.

We also reject the suggestion that we are misrepresenting our location. We operate in Queensland and comply with Australian business regulations.

We are always willing to resolve matters directly and professionally. If you provide your order number via email, we will ensure the refund status is clarified immediately.
