I took a half-day workshop organized by PythonSherpa. The workshop was very well organized: appropriate difficulty level, good balance of explanation and practices, rich contents covering the basics...Joris as the lecturer was super enthusiastic and helpful. In general, I really enjoyed the workshop and was inspired to explore coding further with Python.

Easy to follow and a great introduction to Python.

Joris, the PythonSherpa, prepared an excellent Phython training for our group. I have a commercial role in a tech company and no coding background. Joris has a business background himself and complements that with strong programming skills. This combination makes him a perfect teacher for business people with limited experience in programming as he is empathetic and can talk both languages.
I'm proud to be able to say that I feel like I understand the Python basics now!
I would recommend Joris to anyone looking to learn the programming basics!

This is a great starter course for anyone who would like to learn a new skill and stay relevant in the workplace. As an accountant, I knew nothing about Python before coming to this training and now I can understand the basics, and start to build on the topics to use in my practice. It has also helped me understand the programming behind the software I am using, and better communicate with developers working in my field. Joris is a patient and knowledgeable teacher!

Great first introduction to Python. Having an introduction in a small group of people helps to get the first grasp of potential possibilities Python has. Easy-going and down-to-earth!

Joris offers you an excellent introduction into the topic of Python with many hands-on examples and exercises that put you right into the coding game. If you have no prior experience with Python and/or coding in general (like me), it might be a bit overwhelming at first, but Joris answers all your questions patiently and helps you on your way towards your first coding experiences.
Thanks to Joris and his professional but relaxed manner, my interest for Python has skyrocketed and he gave me the final push to dive into the exciting world of Python and Applied Data Science. Thanks Joris!

Participated in the Python Basic course offered by PythonSherpa. Good practical introduction to Python with honest and helpful teachings by Joris. Thoroughly enjoyed it and a good start to further fuel my enthusiasm in learning Python.

Easy to follow intro into Python, relaxed environment, simple exercises to get you started

Joris is a calm and helpful instructor, the course explains the very basics of how to approach (Python) code well. Thanks to this, I wrote my first "Hello World" (...and modified it later on!)

The group size of 7 people was good, this way Joris could help individually when needed. There were some snacks and coffee provided as well.

I can fully recommend the course to anybody who would like to make their first steps into the world of Python and coding.

For me, with no knowledge at all of Python, I found it easy to follow and understand. Joris made it fun and was able to create effective exercises so we learned to understand the logic. Great and patient teacher!

It was a nice course to get to know python and get familiar with the base code. Joris was able to explain the code clearly and there was plenty of room for personal support.
