I ordered a mascara on 12/15/25. Said it would be here before Christmas as it was part of a Christmas gift. It never came. I reached out to the company who confirmed it had been lost in transit and they were sending another. Okay being the holidays that happens fine. Wait a month again nothing arrives. Reach out again and ask for a refund at this point. They said they would contact me and sent another email saying I would get the mascara and a free gift. I again email I wanted a refund and have still received nothing. Buyer beware!! Terrible experience no product and no refund.

Dark flame mascara topper

The way this was hyped online I expected to see the red specs and reflex on my lashes at least in the sunlight, but I get nothing at all unless I direct flash on my phone straight onto my lashes which (in my opinion) renders product useless and a TikTok gimmick. On top of it, it doesn’t function very well, either as mascara or a mascara topper. Formula is very wet and it goes everywhere whilst not covering the lashes thoroughly. I need to use my own lashes brush to make sure my lashes remain separated and coated* throughout which makes it a bad product from consumer perspective - why do i need another product/tool to make this product work. Additionally, its not cheap at all, considering its £30, a lot of high end mascaras are far less and its not delivering the promised effect so i am very disappointed. Honestly, Its not worth the money at all

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was honestly disappointing. I treated myself to a birthday splurge, expecting high-quality products, and instead received a mascara that was completely dried out—it doesn’t even go on my lashes. I was told to “shake it because it settles,” but that didn’t fix anything.

To make matters worse, their return/exchange policy is extremely limited and not clearly stated upfront. Had I known that, I never would have taken the risk at this price point. I requested a refund and was told they would only replace a separate item instead—which is frustrating when the main product I purchased doesn’t work at all.

The item they are replacing was a gel primer that arrived with broken glass, and honestly, I didn’t even want a replacement. The jar itself is extremely difficult to open and not worth the price either.

They even asked for a photo as proof…how exactly are you supposed to photograph dried-out mascara that won’t apply? It’s not something you can clearly capture, which just adds to the frustration.

And honestly—we shouldn’t have to fight this hard just to receive good customer service.

For the cost, this is unacceptable. Online shopping already comes with risks, and policies like this make it worse. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this brand. I’ll be sticking with my reliable $10 mascara from Walmart.

I've personally tried their blue glitter mascara before and thought the colour was very vibrant and sparkly, my aunt tried their enchanted vine lipgloss and said it felt more like lipstick, it was also very vibrant and she loved it! When ordering the lipstick unfortunately it had gotten lost but the company was very helpful in getting ga replacement to me quickly.

Unfortunately this was a total waste of money. I bought the Ocean glitter mascara and was so excited to try it out, but after it finally arrived (took a while), I tried it on and there’s virtually no effect at all. No glitter, no anything. It barely even seems to touch the surface of the lashes despite trying it wish various other base coats. So disappointing.

I started off by trying the mascara topper which I loved. Then I got the eye shadow pallet with the mermaid colors and have gotten so many compliments. It stays in place and the colors are absolutely amazing. Shipping on the eye pallet was surprisingly fast. I highly recommend this brand.

It's sad but Question Beauty is definitely NOT a New Zealand based anything. It's firmly in China. The problems with orders include being completely forgotten until contacted; and once contacted "customer service" is a frustrating ping pong so ridiculous it's convincingly AI. The products are easily available from better retailers. Avoid Question Beauty like the proverbial....

I spotted the ad for this sparkly mascara and I ordered it. WOW! What a product, the pigment is amazing , I love the wand and will definitely be ordering more colours. The order and delivery process was flawless. Highly recommend this company and product.

Honestly, love love love this shade, effortlessly blends onto skin, easy to buff on with a brush and then blend out into the crease. Added it to my black lipstick and liner, added the perfect amber shimmer, whilst still looking black in some lights.

I bought Magenta Florals lipstick and mascara topper love both, so sparkly and pretty looking mascara topper is best worn with pink mascara and love that Question Beauty is cruelty free.

A completely positive experience. Words cannot describe how beautiful the product is! Shipping took a little while but the tracking was always updated and so I never feared it would not come.Would definitely recommend the company

I love the emerald mascara I ordered! I saw the ad on insta and immediately had to order it! (Not normally an impulse buyer, but this one was worth it). It could also be used as a liner, which is awesome and very easy to apply!

I ordered Mascara 1 month ago and was charged for it. When I ask what is happening with the order, I get "we're investigating and will let you know" yet I never hear back unless I re-institue contact. I have just said I want to cancel the order and get a refund and we will see if that is honored.

Really love the quality of the shadows - I can't believe we can now do makeup lewks with mirrors in loose powder form. Can't wait for my next order - we're gonna shine at Coachella!

I placed and paid for an order on February 27. It is now March 23, and I have not got my items. The status of the order still reads “unfulfilled”. I have tried to contact them many times for an update or refund and have not received a single human response. Seeing that they have replied to some reviews on here, writing this is my last hope ☹️ I’m not the sort of person to publically call out issues like this, but in this economy, I need my money back if the order isn’t coming!

Update: 24th of March

I finally received a human-ish sounding email today saying there had been a problem with a shipment, and one of my items was out of stock. They presented a few options to remedy the situation. We will see what happens next. I have updated the score to reflect this new development.

Ordered on 14th of February 2026.
On the 23th of February I mail the customer service as there are no updates regarding the order status - I need the products for an event planned for the 7th March 2026.

They reply to me the same day, explaining that the order is late due to some 'backlog issues' on their side. Mind you that if I didn't enquire myself about this, I probably wouldn't have gotten any kind of notice of this delay.

Cancelling the order and getting a refund is not possible obviously because 'the order is already being processed', so the only option I'm given is to wait.

I write again to them on the 2nd of March 2026, as again no updates follow after our previous exchanges.

They provide the whole backlog issues explanation again, but then report that the items have been shipped on the 27th of February and a tracking code is provided - after I reached out to them, again.

The package obviously doesn't arrive in time for the event, and as I check each item, I find that 2/3 pigment containers came without the satefy lid protection.

I should've looked around before placing my order - the whole 'Born-in-New-Zealand' thing paired with the fact that the products are shipped from Shenzen (and very likely manufactured in China) has already been flagged on internet, and does smell like a cheap drop-shipping situation with a nice branding slapped on it.

Not sure how exactly they can guarantee Cruelty Free standards without any kind of reliable certification (Leaping Bunny) while producing their products in a country where animal testing is still very much a thing.

My bad for not investigating this brand properly before purchasing - I fell right into their shiny ads on social medias. Shame on me.

The quality on the Halo Glitter Lip Gloss is absolutely incredible. It was exactly as pictured & has no grit to it at all when wearing. Shipping was also super fast. I had seen some mentions that other orders had taken a little while to arrive but mine came within 5 business days.

Everything was perfect ! I love the shade I bought and it works so well. Got so many compliments 🤗🤗
