This place used to be good. I’ve used them for repairs and even a cam belt change. But my recent experience has put me off them.

I booked my 12 month service and MOT with Cameron and agreed to drop it off on Saturday morning. Saturday came and I went at the agreed time, only to be told the MOT tester had phoned sick. Fair enough, this can happen, would have been nice to be called but I agreed to bring it in today (Monday) at 10am.

Arrived at 9.30, and said I would need the car back for 3 as I had to collect the kids from school. I arrived back at the garage at 12 to wait for the car. It was still parked outside. I watched a car drive in off the street with an unknown issue, go for a test drive and then go straight onto a ramp! At 1.30 I asked if my car would be done soon as I really needed to be at the school for 3. I watched the manager go into the workshop and speak to the mechanic about it and the mechanic basically stood there shrugging his shoulders.

The manager came to apologise and said he could book it for another time and do something with the price. But seeing the mechanics attitude and lack of organisation, I will unfortunately not be taking any of my vehicles here again. Why agree a time to drop a car for an MOT and not stick to the times?

Highly recommended. We dealt with a very nice gentleman called Neil who was particularly helpful in organising tyres swiftly prior to our sons driving test.
Not only were the tyres fitted swiftly but useful information was also supplied regarding the vehicle.
I really would recommend using this company, they are very genuine and with excellent customer service.

Friendly , Fast , Efficient and Professional Service . Tyres arrived on time , were fitted at the scheduled time and were good value for money. Also received expert advice on tyre wear from your MOT specialist. Highly Recommended.

Terrible customer service from Quicklane, ignoring health and safety concerns.

I have emailed Quicklane Customer Services multiple times now, but I have so far not received a reply to my complaints that they let me drive an unsafe car after completing a 'healtch check' on my vehicle.

I am appalled that a company of this size would simply choose to ignore a customers health and safety concerns rather than have constructive and honest dialoge to resolve the complaint.

I have sent Quicklane all of the relevant information including pictures of the damaged suspension arm, pictures of the corroded heat shield, pictures of the new arm, pictures of the new arm fitted to the car, pictures of the MOT certificate, pictures of the labour receipt from the new garage.

Despite being told that if I sent across this information they would investigate the case, the last email I received from their customer services manager stated that my complaints have been closed, and unless I can provide evidence (i.e photos) then they would not be investigating my complaint.

Not only have I sent photos, I also have the physical parts which came off my car, they are welcome to see them any time.

Their reply to my last review which deals with the experience with the garage is also very misleading, as they claim they have attempted to resolve this case with a face to face meeting, when in fact that meeting was about a seperate issue, and was scheduled before I had even had my MOT.

They also say that their doors are always open to discuss, but since receiving that reply I have emailed them asking them for a face to face meeting but have so far not received a reply.

Quicklane is owned by Ford (Trustford) (Ford Motor Company) which is partly the reason I decided to go to Quicklane as I trusted that a large company such as this would not only do an outstanding job on my car, but they would also have great customer services should anything go wrong.

Staff were very professional and polite. Service was excellent, I was informed and kept up to date with what was happening while my car was there. I would definitely recommend and I’ll definitely will be coming back.

We booked my car in to do the advisories after an MOT, with a quote of £411. When we dropped it off it hadn’t been booked in properly so all had to be looked at and quoted again. After 36 hours of waiting around, the price went up to over £1000. How can that be?

Highly recomend Quick Lane Gorton.
Staff really helpful and place is spotless in waiting room.

I took my car as had flat Tyre , Matt was very professional and talked through what was wrong with trye and mended it . Have been to places before where just replaced the tyre without even investigating it . Matt made sure he was thorough and checked all possibilities making sure a new tyre is a last resort . Will be using this place again as very trustworthy.

Great service and the folks there where extremely helpful and friendly

I have used Quick Lane at Gorton a number of times now and I have always been really impressed with the service offered.

On my most recent visit when the car was having an MOT, the manager drove myself and my partner home while the car was being worked on and even dropped off the car afterwards!

Truly above and beyond!

I have found all the staff to be very fair, knowledgeable and courteous. I would use them again and would gladly recommend anyone else use them!
