Have had a few repairs and some curtains shortened. All excellent fast and well priced.

Both my partner and I bought new coats at the York McArthur Glen outlet, a woman's duffle style from Joe Browns and a men's three quarter from M&S. However, both of us being short the arms of the coates were too long.
We took them to the Quickstitch station at the outlet for alteration.
The staff were friendly, respectful and professional. Both coats were ready wthin a day.

The work was faultless, you could not see where they had been altered, it was if we had bought them with the arms already at the perfect length.

I cannot recommend them highly enough, and will always take any clothing we need altering to them with confidence.

Wow , so my husband bought me a lovely Sister Jane dress, as a surprise present, unfortunately it was a little bit tight ( I need to admit I've put on 6lb) and possibly get a size bigger. The dress arrived at 1pm in the post and I wanted to wear it for date night , the same day, I telephoned Quick Stitch for advice, and popped over, they fixed my dress , with a bigger zip and I picked it up at half 4...so I think this service is excellent, it really is " quick stitch" polite, helpful, and I got to wear my beautiful dress...thank you quick stitch, I recommend them..brilliant!

Dropped a tweed jacket off for a moth hole repair on the sleeve. Asked whether the repair would be invisible, to which the answer was yes. Collected the jacket, and the invisible repair involved a 2 inch pleat in the sleeve material and sewing it together. It was more obvious than the small (6mm) moth hole. Told them I wasn’t happy, and was asked to come back in 1 hour. Returned after an hour, and the subsequent repair was little better, but still blatantly obvious. I deciding to cut my losses and try elsewhere, where a professional repair could be undertaken. Upon getting the jacket home, we found the stitching on the sleeve lining to be coming apart. Definitely won’t be using Quick Stitch ever again.

Dropped my daughters trousers and top to be taken up & taken in 2 and a half weeks ago. I said I needed it for 1st July and they said no problem come on 27th june.
I arrived on 27th for it to still have the pins in and not even started. To then be told they’ve been so busy because of prom. I then said it’s been here 2 weeks and this was an after prom outfit so equally important.
The lady then said come back this afternoon and I said I’d be there for 3.30pm, I came back at 4pm and they had not even started it AGAIN!!!!
No apology no nothing!!!
She said she’d get it done for the next day.
I rocked up today and the top… too small!!! I mean come on!!!
I then came to pay the amount of £52, to which I advised her I’d paid £52 worth of fuel coming back & to the shop! She then offered it at £45.
Again… no apology or any sign that she was sorry!
Overall a very stressful experience & I won’t be returning!!

I have waited over 1 week for a quote. Despite promises of a callback, there has been no communication. Completely unacceptable

I bought a suit from mo bros for a wedding and as it needed tailoring I went to quick stitch just outside the shop on Cheshire oaks I can't speak of this place highly enough, the woman That Dealt with was Marie she was amazing polite and new what she was doing, everything was done super quick and efficiently and the fit was to perfection can't thank her enough. I highly recommend this place

Cheshire Oaks branch... Cannot speak highly enough. We travel from Crewe. I cannot recall the ladies name but she is the younger of the two that are in the front area, think she has red hair. My wife and I would like to thank her for the great service.

Fantastic service. I took a bridesmaid dress to quick stick for a very last minute alteration and they did a brilliant job, my dress fit perfectly! Would highly recommend.

They did a really good job on a replacement zip on my rohan trousers, with a quick turnaround time.

I went to quick stitch with a bridal gown and 5 bridesmaids dresses and they were absolutely fantastic, so quick and the dresses were done perfectly, I also asked for sleeves to be added to my bridal gown and these were done exactly as I requested, I was 100% happy with all the dresses and the services 😊 I would definitely recommend anyone to use this shop.

If I could I wouldn't even give it one star I had a great experience the first time I went in there the second time I went in I brought 10 pieces I paid $85 to have them fixed they were all small stitches and the lady told me to come back on the Friday well Friday they were closed so couldn't get my stuff then on Saturday they closed at noon which was an hours before they were supposed then on Monday couldn't get my stuff she hadn't finished it came back today and it's Tuesday and she still didn't have my stuff done it was supposed to be done on the Friday now so now we're four days past what they were supposed to be due and when I finally got them 4 hours later when she told me to come back they were botch jobs she did them as fast and she ruined my one of my pieces another one she didn't put the lace as the patch she used this hard Jean material that looked horrendous which I had to ask her to remove and she gave me severe attitude and treated me horribly then so recap she ruined one item another item had to ask her to fix this third item she didn't fix at all and told she did even though it was clearly ripped the fourth item she didn't fix at all and I asked for money back she threw money at me and I told her I wouldn't be back and she said she did not care and this is how they treat their customers and this is how they treat people when they make a mistake ...I am in shock and disbelief I would find another seamstress if I was you they are terrible to their customers and don't know how to do good work

Used Quickstitch for the first time and was impressed with their workmanship and professionalism. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

i found quickstitch on a web search needed a replacement zip on my dog walking coat sent it of back within 1 week and the job was first class only cost £25 with postage it would have cost over a hundred pounds to replace the coat highly recommend

I don’t do reviews as a rule but the service I have received from Peter at quickstitch was time for me to start

I had looked locally and across the internet for a replacement zip for my sons very expensive Aberbercrombie Parka that we bought from the USA as a Christmas present a couple of years back, so there were good reasons for saving the coat

After looking for several months but to no avail I went back on the internet and came across “Quickstitch” in Newcastle, there Moto I think was replace like for like or better

I spoke to Peter and he said send the cost and he would have a look at it, we had even spoken the YKK the zip manufacturer who wouldn’t deal with us as they only deal with major suppliers

Peter rang me and said he had received the coat and would endeavour to find the zip and match the colour, it took a couple of days and he rang back to say he had found the zip and he was replacing it and would send it back, at this stage we hadn’t even spoke about cost ...... the coat arrived back and my wife and my son were over the moon with the result and most of all the service

Now that’s a service that is hard to find these days - well done Peter and Quickstitch a pleasure to deal with

Ps I did of course settle the bill which was cheaper than our local shop would have charged

The people working here are lovely, they know exactly what they are doing, within minutes I could tell that I was in capable hands, and it shows by the end results of my 3 piece suit which I had tailored fitted here.
I will definitely be returning when I need any alterations doing, and the price for the service given is well worth the money.
