Site seems to have gone bust? Bought tickets on Friday, Saturday and Sunday for various prizes but wasn’t notified of winners so went to check and the site is now locked and inoperative.

Had on the website earlier that I had won a iPad 11 or cash alternative on the 22nd of this month had no contact from the site and now the website is closed All draws what a joke

First ever intro to this company is two unsolicited emails, like a complete stranger casually walking right into my home like it's normal saying "hi, I know we haven't met before, but have you heard about QuidComps?". Never heard of them before. Don't know where they got my email, other than obviously from some shady list. And since they are using shady lists, that status naturally extends to them too. They will forever be banished now. If I ever find out who passed my email address on, they will also be banished forever, along with losing any revenue from me for all future comps. It will be entirely their unrecoverable loss and fault. Not mine.

DON'T TRUST THEM!
YOU ARE LIKELY TO LOSE MONEY WITH THEM.

Before you respond, Quidcomps, it's illegal to send unsolicited comms. So don't complain that you only got one star. It should really be zero. I will not tolerate your manipulation of the truth.

I've now just checked out your website. Nothing could look more dodgy than that in this day and age! There's no information. Referring to one of your other responses to a similarly unsolicited contacted reviewer, nobody can read your T&Cs if they aren't there on your website to read! Therefore, nothing you have said, nor the state of your website convinces me that you are genuine.

If you're going to claim a friend of mine referred me, you're going to have to name them, in a private email since you already have my email address (not publicly). I will not believe this until you do. You still spammed me and it is your responsibility to know the laws and regulations you are bound by before you start in business, especially GDPR/DPA which could have severe consequences to your business before you even get properly off the ground.

EVERYONE who enters competitions such as yours is pretty much GUARANTEED to lose money regardless whether the competition is legit or not. There is no escaping that fact, it's baked in. Firstly, for you to make a profit and cover your running costs, and secondly, to be able to pay for the prize to the sole/relatively few winner(s), usually out of the many thousands of others who paid to enter the competition that cover the cost of these three main elements. Even if you don't want to acknowledge it, and competition sites like yours rarely ever do, the creation of thousands of losers per competition run is a typical mathematical truth neither you nor your entrants can ever escape. For the vast majority of people, winning the 'thing' is actually a futile exercise in hope, especially once you have a large customer base established.

But what is always worse is entering a competition that is bogus at the outset. You might already have a bunch of winners on the face of it, but it isn't actual proof of legitimacy. At minimum, this needs to be sustained over the long term.

Feeling put out by criticism because you think everyone should just give you a break while you establish a company they didn't express any interest in, reveals your sense of entitlement. You're not entitled to spam people, any more than you are entitled to expect people to read your website when you have spammed them! You can't expect trust when you do this. But you can expect the exact opposite and to raise suspicions, that give way to negative reviews. If you don't like that, change your attitude and fix the problem *you're* creating instead of arguing with the very people you'd like to become future customers, assuming you are a responsible business owner.

Maybe just don't use friend referrals, full stop? Unsolicited mail of any kind is still unsolicited, and still illegal. Facebook and other social media are your best friends here. You can optimize them without spamming people. Word of mouth and other engaging marketing practices that don't involve spamming are highly relevant here.

Your webpage is rendering better today. I can now see and click on T&Cs link, which I could not at all yesterday. For all intents and purposes, it simply didn't exist.

If you don't have a Companies House registration, there's little reason to begin to believe that you are are legit. As the records are publicly disclosed, there's no reason for you not to provide it, either here or on your site.

Yes just read the 1 star review i originally left a maybe 3 star one,don’t you dare criticise them because you get a very sarcastic reply and in the case of the one star review they did not address the question of UNSOLICITED messages ?

This is the site you can actually win something, not like other sites that do twisted algorithmic crap where you don’t win a thing

I've only been playing on Quidcomps for a week and already had a win 💪

I won an air fryer yesterday, had an email straight away and confirmed my delivery details within 10 mins of winning. This morning I realised the model I won was huge and only 2 of us so messaged Quidcomps straight away and they swapped it for a slightly smaller model perfect for us coming direct from supplier. So helpful, nice people and my prize arrives tomorrow.

Glad I found this site and fingers crossed for a few more wins before everyone else finds it 😂
