Quilling Card is a woman-owned, Fair Trade Verified greeting card company founded in 2011 by Huong and Rafe Wolf, now based in Holliston, Massachusetts. The company sells handmade quilled greeting cards, framed paper art, and stationery at quillingcard.com. Every card is made by hand from rolled and shaped paper strips using the art form of quilling, a technique originally discovered by the founders on a trip to Vietnam. A single card takes about one hour to make and arrives blank inside with a blank insert and a coordinating envelope, so the sender writes their own message. Standard cards measure 6 x 6 inches and are priced at $12.95. The cards are handcrafted by nearly 1,000 trained quillers across six factories in Vietnam, who earn wages 20 to 25 percent above the national average. Quilling Card has been a Verified Member of the Fair Trade Federation since 2015 and holds two Guinness World Records titles, set on April 8, 2022, for Most People Quilling Simultaneously and Largest Quilling Paper Mosaic. The catalog covers birthday, Christmas, wedding, anniversary, sympathy, thank you, new baby, graduation, Hanukkah, and Valentine's Day cards, plus the Artist Series of framed quilled masterpieces, note card box sets, ornaments, bookmarks, and Husk & Heart, a line of cards handcrafted from upcycled corn husks. Orders ship from Massachusetts, with flat rate shipping on orders of up to five cards and free shipping on card orders over $99. Reach the team at 508-405-2888, Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm ET, or visit the store at 123 Washington St, Suite 202, Holliston, MA 01746. Don't just send a card, send art.
