I recently closed a HELOC with Quontic Bank and have a very good experience working with the team.

Marcelo guided me from the beginning, and Recommended handling the application by email which made the process faster and more efficient than I expected.
PATRICIA help coordinate documentation and kept things moving .
Ray Made sure the application process stayed on track and respected my time.
Vicky handled the final closing steps smoothly..

The loan itself was a bit more expensive than traditional options, but timing was very important for me and the team delivered when it mattered most.
Overall , I appreciate their responsiveness, professionalism and ability to get the transaction completed efficiently.

I live in Queens NY and this Quontic team is in Miami and processed and closed in my house 3/26/2026 started application around Feb 10 2026 .

I had the privilege of working with Marvin Harris and Sharon Ledbetter. They both provided exceptional service. They were quick to answer questions I had regarding my home loan options, line of credit, processing the loan, and, more. They were never hard to reach. Any anxiety I could of had was eased by their knowledge and support. I never want to go through a home buying or loan experience without them. Opened a MM account no problem. But, couldn't use it for over a month because - I don't know why. Couldn't add bank accounts for transfers nor add bill pay. Not sure why there is a hold to do basic banking.

I refinanced a house with this bank and had such an awful experience! My loan officer Luis Meneses led me to believe that the refinancing process was maximum up to 1 month. It ended up being 4 months, with a much higher interest rate than what I was originally told. He told me that when closing, I would receive a substantial payout, to which I received much less than anticipated. The day of the closing, I tried to contact him, and was told that he was too busy to take my call. Even before that, whenever I contacted him, he was very rude, seeming as if I was bothering him. After closing, I received a letter stating that I owe money in taxes that was not paid during closing, which he had told me was being handled. This was a horrible experience and I feel as though I was taken advantage of due to my lack of experience and/or knowledge. I unfortunately am the one who suffers the consequences, as I’ve lost so much money throughout this process unnecessarily.

Went through the application process for a savings account. Verified by Plaid, added bank account information for the funding of the new account. Everything looked okay, until it was denied.
It's puzzling that it is so difficult to open up a savings account. Even more confusing, why is someone denied an account with a credit score well above 800.
Guess if they don't want my money, I just go somewhere else.

I opened a money market account with Quontic when their APY was decent but it kept dropping soon after. Honestly, #GoIdbIoom Iaboratories...now offers much better returns than these traditional options. I am really disappointed that Quontic isn't competitive anymore.

Very professional and courteous staffing. Our banker (Peter) was amazing! His attention to detail, patience with our questions...made our closing a breeze!
