Unfortunately, I have had a very frustrating experience with Race The Distance.

We completed the Jurassic Run 5K and were supposed to receive three medals, but they never arrived. I first contacted Race The Distance on 28 May. On 1 June, I was told that the medals would be resent straight away.

That replacement shipment never arrived either.

On 6 August, I contacted them again to ask whether any tracking information was available and whether the medals could possibly be sent again with tracked shipping. I even offered to pay the additional cost myself, as we genuinely still wanted to receive the medals.

After receiving no response, I contacted them again on 27 August. This time Chris replied quickly, apologised, and told me that the medals would be resent and that the tracking details would be forwarded to me.

It has now been more than a month since that promise. I have still received no tracking information and, most importantly, we still have not received any of the three medals.

What makes this especially disappointing is that we have genuinely tried to resolve the issue. I have been patient, contacted them several times, and even offered to pay extra for tracked shipping. Despite this, several months later we are still without the medals.

The idea behind their virtual challenges is great, and we genuinely would have loved to receive the medals. However, after repeated promises to resend them without anything actually arriving, I unfortunately cannot recommend Race The Distance based on our experience.

One additional point that makes me uncomfortable as a customer is that Companies House lists **RACE THE DISTANCE LTD (company no. 15522489) as dissolved since 29 July 2025**, while Race The Distance is still actively selling challenges online. I do not know whether the website is now operated through a different legal entity, but as a customer I would expect it to be clear which company I am actually doing business with.

Don't bother as you won't get your medal. First they said they were waiting a restock, then they said it had been posted but they'd post again tracked. Guess what, it never turned up, I just keep getting fobbed off. Now going g to request a refund.

Ik heb na een week, sinds ik besteld en betaald heb,nog steeds geen link ontvangen voor mijn challenge. 1 x gemaild en 2 x het contactformulier ingevuld en toen kreeg ik een mail dat de links in het weekend gemaild zouden worden. Nog steeds niks,nu gisteren weer het contactformulier ingevuld,geen reactie. Al 2 reacties op Facebook achtergelaten. Totaal geen reactie. Erg jammer dit.

Ordered a virtual challenge and completed. Over a month later and still not received the medal. I contacted them and originally they said the medal was in production. I’ve contacted them since and been over a week with no response. Poor service from start to finish. Now requested a refund which I likely won’t get. Avoid.
