This is Ben from Radonova - we just spoke over the phone.

As we discussed, Radonova has realized that the process of returning detectors for analysis to the US from Canada has become a difficult process. Therefore, as of a few months back, Radonova has opened up its first Canadian office in the GTA to manage local logistics and support.

As the leader in Canadian radon testing, we made sure to accelerate this process to avoid the problems you are highlighting above.

All deliveries within Canada will now come with prepaid return envelopes to below address:

Dear Customer,

I want to let you know that we take complaints like this very seriously.

We have looked into this now, and cannot see any emails from you. Can you please confirm all emails have been sent to customerservice@radonova.com, and from what email you are sending the inquires?

Customers often pick Radonova because of our excellent customer service and guidance through the process of testing for radon, and I want to better understand when, and where, you have contacted our support team.

Regarding the returns to the United States for analysis - that has indeed been the case in the past, and we have been very transparent about not having a lab in Canada.

However, we have since July this year opened up our first Canadian office, and deliveries and returns now stays within Canada going forward. As our long term radon detector is the most popular detector for testing radon in Canadian homes, this is a step in the right direction for making the journey smoother for Canadians.

Please resend the inquiry to customerservice@radonova.com and we can start the process of solving any questions or concern you may have.

We understand the frustration with cross-boarder shipping and have therefore opened up a Canadian Distribution Center as of June 1st 2026.

Hej,

Du får gärna förtydliga lite vad du menar med "goda yxskaft" om du vill ha ett bättre svar.

Vi har tittat på din analysrapport och ser att inget årsmedelvärde har beräknats.

Anledningen är att Strålsäkerhetsmyndighetens metodbeskrivning kräver minst 60 mätdagar inom perioden 1 oktober–30 april för att ett årsmedelvärde ska få beräknas.

Din mätning avslutades den 26 maj och uppfyllde därför inte det kravet, vilket innebär att ett årsmedelvärde skulle bli missvisande och inte heller är tillåtet enligt myndighetens krav.
