worst online store ever
The store and people in Round Rock are great, but buying on their website or asking their customer service online is the worst. The site says 5 to 7 business days to get a product, but I'm on business day 10 with no product, no information, and nothing from them. This will be the first and last time I buy something from their website.

Terrible customer service from "Milley" at membership services, Their system had a glitch and would not process my monthly veterans membership on my Amex. IT kept saying "not a valid card" I called Amex and they said nothing was wrong with card. I emailed Milley back and her response was to send me a diagram on how to input a card. After trying 5 different cards, Amex. MC, visa etc. I got the same response of card not valid. I emailed them back saying none of the cards went through so their is some glitch on their side. Milley sent me back a condescending response on how I cannot follow instructions. What a great rep you got their Range USA. I told her in a email customer service was crap and hope their supervisors read the emails. She then threatened to have me banned from the store. Guess her snowflake started melting. I since joined a conservation club that is respectful to its members and will never go to range USA again , I have spent thousands there over the years and had a veteran membership for about 10 years and thats the response I get from a horrible customer service rep. Stay away from this place!
"DISPOSED" FIREARM ORDER
The second consecutive online ship to store firearm order is "disposed" status after being emailed it was ready for pickup.
Apparantly the store cannot correct the issue and you have to wait longer for corporate to fix the problem. So, wait longer for a paid for item that they can't process due to their error or system that no one can fix except corporate. I have no idea how they stay in business. I will NEVER order from them again. I'd rather pay above retail and get what I want without the ineptitude.

You do not find that at many gun ranges in the Houston Area. Some on here making bad reviews, are zero clueless about what a good situation is ! Range USA Rocks !! Great Place !!

Membership fees are outrageous
Membership fees are outrageous. I only used this place once and it was horribly loud even with the proper hearing protection. I was not told that I would be charged a monthly membership after I paid for the first month. So I was suprised to see a $53.97 charge on my bank account again from them. Tried to get a refund from them for this and was told that they don't refund on memberships and was told I had to pay for 3 months even if I did'nt use their facility. So I am out about $107 for using their loud ass range once. Do not go there the people are con artist and rip-off good people.

This review is not for the staff as they have been amazing and have taught me alot but as a corporate/company review.
My husband and I recently signed up for a monthly membership as well as I enrolled in the lady sure shots.
We paused both memberships for the summer as our schedules got busy. I just found out we are being charged 4.99 plus tax on each memberships- lol the sure shots is only 10.00 month so I am being penalized 4.99 plus tax a month when I can go on any month and pay same day the same $10. This is not a good way to do business as pausing either membership is not holding up anyone from a reserved spot. I think I will look for somewhere else to shoot which is disappointing because I really enjoy the staff there.
Racial Bias and Violation of Privacy at Range USA Humble Location
My visit to Range USA Humble on June 16, 2025, was one of the most humiliating and racially charged experiences Iâve ever had as a paying customer.
I brought my legally owned firearm and asked the manager for assistance with a jammed magazine. Instead of helping, he immediately treated me with suspicion â questioning my intent simply because the gun was warm from sitting in my car.
Then, in front of a line of customers, he loudly asked if I had a felony. I do not â and even if I did, that shouldâve been handled with discretion and respect. He also interrogated my teenage son, who had never been there before, as if we were doing something wrong just by being there.
He claimed I was on a âdo not serveâ list, then proceeded to call his supervisor and discuss my personal background out loud at the counter. I was denied service without any valid explanation or policy violation. The only thing I did wrong was walk in as a Black man with my son.
This wasnât just unprofessional â it was public shaming, racial profiling, and a gross invasion of privacy. Range USA should be ashamed of how their staff treats law-abiding Black gun owners. I will never return, and I strongly encourage others â especially people of color â to think twice before spending your money here.

15 yrs of buying from Range USA
Iâve been buying from Range USA for about 15 years, and I have no complaints. Great staff, really nice and safe range, and pretty competitive pricing on firearms. Iâve shopped the Greenwood and Avon, Indiana locations. Nick, Jeff, and the whole staff are great.

Scamming Business and Disrespectful
Wow, they promised about 120 dollars of bonuses and freebies with an Elite membership. They didn't even give me the items they promised after I paid for months and months of the membership and dropped over 2k on goods there. Corporate had a bad attitude with me on the phone and rather than working things out, decided it would be better to talk down to their customer and threaten them as well. No company is above their customer, and any company who steals from any customer is a company that will not be around for long.
Went to Range USA Wixom
Went to Range USA Wixom, MI for the first time on their $1 promo in Dec. with some friends who are regulars there. Thinking of purchasing a new gun. To use the range to try the new guns, husband had to sign a form. He unknowingly signed up for their $29.99 monthly membership as well. It wasn't until reviewing our credit card we saw the charge. Called Wixom...they can't do anything; everything handled by corporate online. Went on line...another hell of an experience. Husband didn't remember password, tried Forgot pw, didn't work. No phone number to call. It took months to finally get in. Filled out their "Ticket" form to cancel and request refund. They have records showing we have never been back, but will not refund membership. Finally got it stopped 4 months later but rules say will bill us for follwing month as well! 1. Should be able to use range without having to join membership. Can do after using if want to. 2. Way too difficult to get into site. 3. People at shops should be able to help. 4. Should be a phone number to contact.
Lazy Sales PersonâŠ
Several years I sold firearms when Range USA was Shoot Point Blank in the Dayton, OH store. I left because we had sales goals and everyone was trying to steal your sales and started selling at Cabelas. I moved back to the St Louis are 3 years ago and recently visited the new store in Bridgeton, MO. I sold them a pistol and did receive a fair price. They gave me a gift card. 2 Minutes later I decided I wanted to purchase an AR. In Missouri, when you trade in a firearm then purchase one, the sales tax charged is based on the difference between the firearm sold and the one purchased. They said because they gave me a gisft card they could not show the firearm I sold as a trade in. This would have saved me $33.00.
The person who helped apparently was lazy and did not want to find a solution to help a former employee and customer. Therefore, I did not buy the firearm and used the money for ammunition. Needless to say, I will NEVER set foot in a Range USA store again. it is about principle and extremely poor customer service.
Bad Range
Went to go shooting with my son and got harassed by an RSO who asked what ammo we were using 3 times. On the 3rd attempt I gave the RSO one of my cartridges primer side facing towards him. He freaked out saying I was "shoving bullets in his face" and kicked us off the range. Doesn't seem to matter how polite you are, or how well you follow the range rules. RSOs here will remove you simply because they feel like it.
