Do not contact this company, tried to charge my girlfriend £250 for 20 mins works, adjusting door hinges, absolutely disgusting, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

I contacted this company yesterday, to change a barrel lock where the key was snapped, I was told quotation tomorrow with no call out fee, which is also stated on his website, on arrival was quoted £200 to change the lock which was quite pricey so we said we will let him know, then he stated £125 call out fee. also stated that he would not leave until he had received the call out fee. so my wife ended up saying for £75 difference it’s best to get the job done after completing the job, the total price came to £318. my wife felt very intimidated as his demeanour was very aggressive.
Do not use this company.

This guy called Gerrard contacted me through bark web site all i wanted was new front door handles and letter box he was very pleasant and we showed him what we wanted he wanted to know if we would like new locks told us they were anti theft so we said yes he went away got the items and started the job we left him to it there was a lot of banging and maybe i should of checked what he was doing when he said he was finished he said that he could not fit the handle properly and that there was a crack in the door i painted this door the day before and it was in perfect condition the door was ruined told us it was the door that was at fault charged us £250 and whent we were gutted and to add insult to injury when we closed the front door the letter box fell out on inspection he had just pushed it in wrong screws the worst part he took my old lock's and handle with him so we could not fit them back on and the letter box we have had to tape it too the door the door cannot be repaired so we will have to purchase a new front door i will never go on the bark web site again my biggest mistake was not to check this company on trust pilot what's the old saying you learn by your mistakes.

No price upfront, had no choice but to get a broken lock fixed as door wasn't locking, small child or dog would have gotten out. Ended up paying £180 labour, £69 call out fee and then the price of a gear! £760 total!
I do think that's extreme for half an hour of service. Wed to make sure in the future I never use any tradesmen that do not give a cost upfront!

Called this guys out to give me a quote on my broken door. He took the mechanism out to see what the issue was then told me the problem and what the cost of a new lock would be. I told him I'd have to get back on the cost cause I needed to discuss that first with my wife. He put the broken bracket back in and tried to charge me £138 for it claiming that he had fixed the issue when all he'd done was unscrew the mechanism to see the issue and put it back in. Absolutely disgusting service and I check their trust pilot reviews on their website and there's a fake image of 5 star reviews on their website. I'm absolutely disgusted.
