First and foremost, we're incredibly sorry to hear about the emergency involving your son. We truly hope he is doing much better and on the road to a full recovery.

We also want to sincerely apologize that your experience with our radios fell short—especially during such a critical situation. That’s not the level of reliability we aim to provide, and we completely understand your frustration.

We’ve requested your contact information and would greatly appreciate the opportunity to speak with you directly. Our goal is to learn more about what happened and hopefully turn your 1-star experience into a 5-star one.

Additionally, we'd like to send you a replacement set of Rapid Radios at no cost. It’s possible you have an earlier version of our product, and since then we’ve made significant internal updates to the software—resulting in a much stronger bandwidth range and improved performance in remote areas like St. George, Utah.

Just to clarify, our radios operate on nationwide 4G/LTE networks, which is noted on our website. We also provide a coverage map to help customers check service availability before purchase, especially for areas like mountainous regions where LTE signals can be limited.

We also noticed you're not a current customer, but we truly appreciate your interest in our products. In an effort to better assist you, we've requested your contact information so that we can reach out directly and provide the detailed answers you’re looking for. We'd love the opportunity to turn this 1-star experience into a 5-star one by helping you understand more about our products and how they work in various environments.

In response to your product questions: while our radios do utilize LTE and 4G networks, their range and coverage are quite different from standard cell phones. They’re engineered to maintain a much wider and more reliable connection — even in remote areas where typical mobile devices may lose signal. However, they do still require access to a cellular network to operate effectively. For a better understanding of where service is available, we encourage you to explore the coverage map on our website. And if it’s helpful, we’d be more than happy to walk you through it and discuss how our system performs in backcountry or low-coverage areas.

To clarify, our radios do require access to cellular networks in order to function, and they use a combination of major carriers to provide coverage—including international locations like the Bahamas with the add on.
