Lee was fantastic from start to finish! I placed an order for 6 shelves and an oak fireplace beam, but he contacted me to say they were not the same wood so we changed the order. Had some trouble with the fittings but Lee promptly fixed that too?l! Service delivery and quality of products are fantastic and the room looks unreal! Would recommend

I ordered a traditional style oak beam with antique finish. I was grateful for another review which warned that "reclaimed" style beams had some rather artificial-looking chunks taken out of them. My beam, which was made to measure, was misdirected in the post first time around but the company quickly re-dispatched it. It looks great over the fireplace.

We had a lovely Oak beam made by Real beams, Lee was very helpful and we had to get the order made and delivered in a few days.
The beam was beautiful and delivered on time, we highly recommend their customer service and quality 💯
The price was half of what the log fire installer was charging.

Really good quality beam and the customer service has been great. I had a terrible experience with Traditional Beams prior to this (absolutely useless company) so I'm very glad we found Real Beams!

I bought a traditional oak fire place beam. Before deciding on my purchase, I had a query about the fitting. I emailed customer services at 8pm on a Sunday night and had a reply back in minutes.
After placing the order, it was delivered in exactly 1 week. The beam is a beautiful piece of wood and installation was incredibly easy (my husband is pretty competent at these things, anyway). The wood has cracks and the jacobean staining all add to the character of it. I would imagine, if I had chosen a more modern style, it would not have the cracks. I plan to buy shelving from them when I am ready for the next phase.
