What keeps me going back to reDollar whenever I have scrap sterling silver to sell is their fair, and honestly, highest offers. Before selling my sterling silver to them, I quote prices in the local shops but their offers are generally lower. In the end, I don't mind waiting a few days for my payment if I know I will be receiving more money for my items.

I was doing the process of sending in a ring and necklace to sell. The ring had been resized and no longer contained the 14k mark. This they refused to ship it to them for free and devalued it considerably. I offered to prove live on camera with a gold test that the ring is 14k. I personally purchased this ring over 20 years ago. And I personally resized it. The ring has never left my possession.

I am offended that they will not allow me to prove the value of my item without having to pay for shipping and accept that they think my white gold ring is tarnished silver!

Redollar is very transparent with their process. From the beginning until the end, you are informed of exactly what is happening with your order. There is no guess work. I had positive during my past two orders with reDollar so naturally when I needed to sell a coin I just went ahead submitted online order with redollar.com The process is easy and quick: you can see what their estimated prices are for various metals, then you fill out "Sell now" form online with your name/address and list of items you sell. Shortly after, you'll get the email with a form to sign and insured shipping label along with instructions how to pack the items.

This time, the shipping was slower (first two ordered it was next day), took 3 days for ground shipping).

Shipped the coin Monday, reDollar got the package Thursday, lab validated the coin, and payment was processed the same day. Price offered was fair and whole process is very fluid.

So, based on my recent experience with reDollar, I can definitely recommend this company/site and definitely going to use it myself in the future.

This was my first time using reDollar and unlike some other companies I have used in the past. My experience with reDollar was Great.
We agreed on a price that I was happy with and our scrap gold report was right on the mark. We received over seventy four hundred dollars which was nearly twice what a local company offered us.. I will use them again for sure.

In the past I had two additional gold buying businesses quote me on the same item and, hands down, ReDollar offered not just a better price, but almost twice as much. They have a handy calculator, which is kept up to date daily according to the stock price. I highly recommend comparing quotes before selling, and never go to a jeweler to sell your gold.

The journey to sell my gold jewelry started with the visit of 3 local coin/gold shops... offering me only 70-80% of the actual gold value. Not much better were the results from precious metal refineries... one did not accept private customers, the other never responded to my e-mail and the third did no call back after leaving multiple messages.
Until I found Redollar - in the beginning I was skeptical, however, their online calculator was giving me by far the best price of 90% of the gold value. After contacting them all of the transaction went super-smooth and very quick; from getting confirmation e-mails, to the shipping labels, insurance of the package, the assessment of my goods... until payment... altogether including the 2 day shipment in less than 5 days.
And the best: I got more then estimated! (I wrongly classified one of the pieces as 10k in the online calculator.. and Redollar found that it was a 14k piece... and added accordingly to the payout.)

ReDollar has been amazing. I buy storage units, I find a lot of gold and silver jewlery. My local pawn shop says they pay 80, but realistically its more like 75, or lower. I have been cheated by said pawn shop by purity.

I now have all the knowledge necessary to know what I can expect to be paid out of the gold I turn in.

Im happy I discovered ReDollar, I recommend them to family and friends, and anyone who reads this. Take a chance, send in a small amount to get comfortable. Then once you see yourself, send such as you'd like!!

Truth be told I was very skeptical about sending gold to liquidate. I read many of redollars reviews on all sorts of sites asked friends and people in the industry. It was a very easy process. Just go online and request a shipping label and customer service will ask you a few questions, after that they send you an insured shipping label if the minimum threshold is met. Shipping is easy, the label and detailed instructions are provided. I was most impressed when I got the email that they received my items and they were tested and I was paid within 3 hours. My second shipment is on the way.

I sold them a 14kt scrap chain that weight 3.94 grams and they gave me a online quote of $217.40. I mailed it in for free, so I wasn't out of pocket at all. I was sceptical but they truly earned my trust. This is an amazing company. I have sent them several shipments of scrap gold and jewelry. They insure what you send them at no cost to you. They provide a report on your gold or precious metal content with their financial offer. I have found that they have paid me slightly more than their calculator might say, because my scale measures to tenths of grams, say 10.1 grams, but their scale is to the hundreds and the actual weight might be 10.17 grams.

I have simply been amazed at how quickly they respond to my questions, and payment, which can be made by ACH transfer. They are more than fair with their offers. I will continue to sell to them when I have more jewelry to sell.

If you are selling at spot price through eBay, once you have paid eBay fees, you make less than if you sold to reDollar. And no where near the hassle. You close the deal quickly and get paid in just a day after you accept their offer.
