Terrible food. Fat chunks and slimy skin in the chicken mayo hot dog bread roll same as 40 years ago. The bread doesnt go with the chicken. Hot chips so small wouldnt feed a child and $8.00 for a small cup of potato/gravy that was 10% potato and the rest gravy. Probably about 6 tablespoons for that price. Doordash of course put 25% on top to make even more expensive. Massive rip off. Wont be back even after 40 years.

ONLINE ORDERING IS A JOKE
Firstly, the kids working at Red Roster Redcliffe Qld. were fantastic. Very busy, very apologetic with my order problem which they'd obviously come across many, many times before.
The online ordering at RR is an absolute joke. Online ordering is supposed to simplify/speed up service but this is complicated and ridiculous. Involves return SMS's and emails. Apparently, the store doesn't get the order unless you reply to some backup notifications. Absolute debacle. Note: Not every customer is a 25yo hip cat with an Iphone surgically attached! Did you perhaps consider the person at the office, wants to pick up family dinner on the way home from work, orders from office laptop, immediately shuts down lappie, drives to RR store, they don't have an order from them because customer did not follow up on SMS and/or email. If I order and pay for it, I WANT IT!! I shouldn't have to reply to further notices. If you want to set a pick-up time just add the [simple] time programming code that Dominos uses. If I order and pay for it, I WANT IT!! Dated website, stupid and overly complicated ordering/payment system. Thin and error filled system. Anyone with an ounce of knowledge about e-commerce should have been able to envisage the many potential usage problems involved before rollout. RR management need to review their IT company's pathetic online service. When I say "review their IT company" I mean sack 'em and get someone in who knows what they're doing. I was hoping for a quick meal but I was very let down. The chicken wasn't as tasty as I remembered; it was dry and lacked flavour. The chips were soggy by the time I got home, and the prices seemed a little high for what I received.The service was also slow

For the second time at this take-away, the chicken was terrible. Had to be 2 day old leftovers at least as it was dry, tough and just unpleasant. Threw the whole lot out. The chips and cloeslaw was nice though. Never going back there again.

I am a regular customer of the Deception Bay franchise and am really impressed by the client service of two of their staff who go above and beyond. Alicia and Charlotte have always been friendly and have taken the time to get to know their regulars. Their friendliness means I will be coming back for more.
If on the rare event that something is not right they have been forthcoming to fix things and offer sincere apologies.
I have not experienced this from other franchises who are dismissive and untrusting.

Very disappointed tonight. We bought 4 quarters of roast chicken ... got three with wings, and one with a leg!!! Two of each would have been much better. It was very dry .... tasted as if it had been re-heated. . Hopefully what we have left over will be better with a salad tomorrow. And the chips were so over-salted that we could not eat them.

Disappointed and expensive
Just got 3 large chips at Woodvale RR. Very disappointed. I get really annoyed it pay so much money for it. Chips pale, not even full to the top soggy. Your chips doesn't even compare to Jesters!!! You need to improve especially paying close to $6 for large!!

It feels like Iâm paying more and getting less, which is really disappointing. The taste is still great, but the value isnât what it used to be. I hope youâll reconsider these changes and bring back the size and value your customers loved.

I've been in your Warwick store today
I've been in your Warwick store today. The toilets are filthy and the coating on the chicken was sparse as. Could see the chicken through it and it was oily and nasty.
I've also been in your Melville store, and whilst the chicken was ok and properly coated, their toilets are filthy too. Not impressed. KFC is far superior and cleaner

I bought Red Rooster's Red Hot Chicken and Chicken Tenders using drive thru from Chirnside Park, when I got home I took a bite of chicken and found small shard of glass in tenders, I kept glass in Ziplock bag and called Red Rooster and uploaded details to red roosters feedback and complain team, since then nobody has enquired about situation. Aiden the store manager called to get the glass and mentioned they will check with their supply chain and I said I was worried if more glass piece are in tender someone might have big accident while eating them but I feel that was a neat trick to get a piece of evidence from me. Very irresponsible and unprofessional conduction by Red rooster team. Avoid if possible.

Box also contained approximately 12 fries, 2 dried up chicken nibbles, and a tiny potato & gravy pot that was rank. It tasted funky. I assumed it was bad and threw it away.
Will never eat at Red Rooster again.

Dear Red Rooster, I am normally not one to complain but today was just too much. I usually shop at Carrara at least twice a week and there have been numerous times when I have been told that there will be no cooked chooks for up to 30 minutes. So today, to be sure I could get one, I went to the Nerang store, only to be told...yep you guessed it... no chooks for 25 minutes! So over to Carrara...same but their time frame was 21 minutes. With due respect - isn't cooked chooks your core business?? How can it be that this happens sooooo often? I know that there are issues with Bird Flu but that is not the issue here - it is a logistical one. Sorry to be a pain but the regularity of this, particularly at Carrara is a pain in the chooks butt!
