I'm so glad I went for an extra large! I have quite... Wide and deep fingers, and Ive always bought medium and tried large occasionally which doesnt fit my index finger. I am so so happy I got this ring and it passes the shake test; tip your hand down and then shake a little bit to see if the ring stays in place. It's a perfect fit.

Amethyst is cut but has a lovely natural mineral appearance. Band is quite substantial but not chunky. Very attractive little gothic arched mounting; Goes really well with the gothic themed arch ring.
