We are a repeat customer. This time, we were fortunate to work with Nick Eberwein. He was personable, professional, patient and knowledgeable. He looked for all options to fit our needs and made us feel like people instead of numbers. The process was so easy and quick. From working with Nick, to the processor Roberta, to the notary, every interaction was exceptional. Nick is a true asset to this team and represents this company well. We will refer all family and friends to him in future, as well as any future mortgage needs ourselves.

My Loan Officer, Tracey Schuelke with Reliance First Capital went above and beyond during the entire loan process. I would not hesitate to refer her to any family member or friend to do a loan with her. Not only is she fun to work with, and trustworthy but she also has the patience of a saint!

This company started off great. Friendly, helpful and cheerful. We were seeking a cash out refinance. We moved on to an appraisal that costed us $750. Once the appraisal was completed the company informed me they were have trouble verifying my income despite having my pay stubs and w-2 information. They have now ghosted us and do not reply to messages and have refused to give us any actionable requests. I have informed them I have removing my application for a refinance. I am now out $750 and a lot of wasted time. Do not do business here unless you want poor communication and borderline liars.

After trying to work with them since November 2024 on a consolidation of mortgage and other things, today January16th 2025 I get told because I'm 1099 I'm not eligible. After I spent 600.00 on an appraisal on my home. Just the most unprofessional and unprepared bunch I have every worked with. It took them almost 3 months and 600.00 to tell me because of 1099 I'm not eligible. I'd stay away from these people!

Provided more than one option. The individuals that you work with within the company are courteous and responsive. They come to you with whatever you need and keep you informed.

He made himself available to me via any method of my choice – email or cell phone, which I appreciated and took advantage of. I have been working with Mr. Barreau for over 2 years trying to figure out what works and what I can afford. He has been really patient, very on the job, reliable and persistent. Sometimes too persistent. Eric Barreau is a true professional. Reliance First Capital, LLC in the Charlotte, NC office. Hands down on top of their game. Nicholas Eberwein was my first contact as a mortgage analyst, and you would think he was just telling you a story. But there was no story, he knew what he was talking about and made things happen. His Team Manager Amanda Mowbray was available for any additional questions or to help with the processing department when I had some documents that were difficult on my end. Great Team to work with, and I highly suggest using them with your mortgage needs.

I am very disappointed with Reliance First Capital. Most of the checks were made out in the wrong amounts since the checks were made out too soon before the loan closed. The checks should have been mailed directly to the creditors, not to me! It seems that, once the agent got his commission, your customer service stopped! One check was made out $1000.00 over the pay off amount and I was told that it would be resolved quickly. But 6 weeks later, I had to contact Mr. Cooper to get this issue resolved. One check was returned to me because the check was made out to the bank, not the creditor, in which I incurred a $30.00 late fee. I also sent the letter and returned check to my account manager and was told that this would be addressed quickly, but it never was! Last, I was told that Reliance First Capital would be carrying my loan, but instead, it was sold off to Mr. Cooper. Since I received the letter and email from Mr. Cooper, your customer service stopped returning my phone calls and answering my emails! Very disappointed and will definitely not refer you!

We had a very complex situation wherein 3 people were on the loan but not the title. RF has very experienced agents, particularly Yana, who was able to sort out a haystack of atypical data involving corporate owners and employees. She got it done and we closed within 10 business days. I would say RF understands complex requirements and can produce! Thank you for everything!

They provided me a refinance mortgage service during a time when I was not going to be able to get a loan. I did not have a high credit score. I was going to get a loan with a very high interest rate. Working with my loan officer were able to call me a loan that was fair and with a fixed rate.
