Quick and efficient, good rate.

They helped me in transferring the required amount to my blocked account provided by Coracle. The main advantage in using remitout service is that you will get your blocked account confirmation letter on the same day of completing the entire fund transfer, which is really a life saver if you are in urgency like visa appointment nearby etc. They have tieup with Coracle provider which results in smooth communication between the involved parties. The actual fund transfer takes the normal standard time of 3-5 days which is not an issue as only the confirmation letter is required for the visa appointment.
The only con for me was that their exchange rate was a bit on the high side ( almost 1 Rs more than the rate shown on google page, but still less than those of private banks). Apart from that, other charges like gst, bank charges, service fee etc. were nominal and not an issue.

One suggestion that I would give to the future users is to break the amount to be transferred into 2 or more installments if the total amount is greater than 7 lakhs to avoid the TCS of 5%. Also make sure that the transfer is done from bank accounts linked with separate PAN cards and of your blood relatives or parents, otherwise the remittance won't be allowed.

I'm immensely impressed by the service provided by remitout. My helper was Amit and he helped me in the opening of my blocked account with coracle and transferring the amount. He was understanding and very patient. He made sure that i was clear in my mind of whatever i was doing, i can't praise him enough for that. I even had the liberty to ask him anytime and he never minded it.
