Tony Jarman and Terry Finch made the whole process from start to finish go extremely smoothly and quickly. I got regular updates and they made sure I got the best deal for an annuity that suited my needs. Retirement Line are highly recommended.

My experience with Retirement Line was A1 from start to finish. Josie Thomas handled my initial contact and guided me through the beginning of the process and Andrew Rist was there for the duration of the journey. They both made my role very easy, but I did support them by providing everything as soon as humanly possible. They refunded all of the items that I posted and any commissions were charged to the company with whom I was placed - they did not come from my pot!

I would also like to mention Amy Rogers and Mollie Turner, who covered Andrew on his short break, and made the temporary transition seamless.

I think that my whole process went very smoothly.
Thomas Hardy and John Quinn did ensure I knew options available to me and Amy and the Admin team gave updates on progress each week which is reassuring during a sometimes daunting process.
I would advise anyone to really research options and look at comparable quotations and retirementline should deliver for you.

So efficient and so patient.

I was helping out my partner with transferring his pension pot and setting up an annuity.

I spent more than a little time somewhat bumbling around and misreading communications, and Andrew just let us get on with it - no sense of impatience or pressure - until I got my/our act together.

Less than two weeks from agreeing a package to confirmation from the pension provider and the 25% lump sum ariving in my my partner's bank account.

I left my details on the Retirement Line website hoping to get an idea of how much my pension pot would payout, without the need to speak to someone . Then I received a call from David Brewer, ordinarily I do not pick up the calls, and am I glad I did.
David was the most friendly man I could wish to speak to. He explained everything in layman’s terms and went through all the options with me. He originally said that getting an annuity was too soon for me at the time but scheduled a date for a ‘catch up’.
My plans changed and I needed to speak to him sooner. As I said earlier, he went through everything, even encouraging me to check that his company was legitimate, which I did. He even arranged a telephone appointment with the government pension advice service.
David was just at the end of the phone every time I needed something explaining.
He even said I did not have to use their services as long as I was happy with any decisions I made and he was happy giving me explanations.
The whole paperwork side was done online.
I was then passed over to the admin team and my contact was Scott Mulhern, who arranged for my pension pot from The People’s Pension to be transferred to Aviva. He contacted me every week, even if there was nothing to report.
I cannot praise them highly enough and, yes I did use them, have received a very good pension, a lot more than I thought I would get.

I have rated my experience as outstanding, as the service and advice I received was over and above. The advisors that I was allocated Joao Costa and Edward Starling from Retirement Line were very professional and helpful every step of the way. Joao was my main advisor and gave regular updates from my pension provider and was always clear with any explanations.

I have been in the FS industry and specifically pension most of my working life. When it was my turn to get an enhanced annuity, I could not have been more impressed with RL, and their processes. I am well versed with all of the terms and options in the retirement space, but I could see for some one who wasn't just how many controls were in place to safeguard the customer, and ensure everything was very well explained, and covered.

Everything was done professionally and I was kept informed throughout. The only delay was getting the GP to do their bit, which no one can control.
Oliver Prescott and Sarah Harrison deserve a special mention for being diligent and responsive.

This was a very good 9/10 experience for me, so in between 4 and 5 stars.
I had obtained several annuity quotes elsewhere and Retirement Line obtained the best result for me.
There were a few minor issues completing my annuity application forms which had to be done manually because of one non-standard request by me. However, those were resolved quickly and correctly which is a sign of a well run organisation.
Communications were excellent at all times and the final part of the process went very smoothly and faster than I had expected - thanks to Edward Starling and Sarah Harrison.

Second time I've used Retirement Line and service I received this time was even better than previously. I did investigate alternative companies but Retirement Line provided the best return.
Initial contact was Johnathon Davies, who was knowledgeable, helpful and addressed all the questions I raised and provided forecast returns for the various options I was considering.
The next stage of the process (once I'd decided how to proceed), was handled by Scott Mulhern who was extremely efficient and kept me updated on progress on a regular basis. Top marks to both of them and Retirement Line.

I have given Retirement Line 5 Stars because the advisor I was allocated, Josie Thomas, explained everything clearly and thoroughly. It was good to be able to deal with one person and to know that I could speak with her directly whenever I needed to. I also appreciated the fact that a lot of the "heavy lifting" was done for me. Also a special mention goes to Sarah Harrison, the Customer Relationship Consultant, who communicated promptly and clearly. The whole procedure was carried out incredibly smoothly and I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

We have now used Retirement Line twice to arrange annuities and have been very happy with its service and expertise. George Gilbert patiently guided and talked us through the various options available and once we we had made our decision his colleague Terry Finch kept us fully advised of his progress in opening the account on our behalf - which in fact was earlier than anticipated.

I came across Retirement Line when researching how to purchase an annuity with my personal pension pot. My research showed them to be a thoughtful and engaged broker in the annuity sector. They are transparent about their fees which are paid by the provider (but essentially come out of your pot). They provided me with a range of competitive quotes for the annuity income.
My experience of working with first Joshua Lawson, and later Ben Payne was good. Both were professional and helpful. I had not contemplated how stressful the process could be, particularly when it took 3 weeks for my pension pot to arrive with the provider, but Ben answered all my emails with reassurance.
I recommended them to a friend and they had a similar good experience. I'd be happy to recommend them again.

Great service by Rick Holdaway and Andrew Rist, coping well with my chaotic former employers pension scheme and kept me informed all the way through the process till the annuity was established.
